Let me say my masseuse was not one of the ones mentioned. She was not very friendly. Didn't ask what brought me in or if I had any areas of focus. Just looked at the paper I filled out said ok and that was that. She was so rough even after I told her it was hurting very badly. She said it was my fault I have knots so it's going to hurt but didn't let up on the pressure or get out of that area. I have RA and Lupus and severe joint and muscle pain which I did advise of. I was writhing when she touched certain spots and it seemed she pressed harder. I asked for my lower back to get some attention but that didn't happen either she stayed up top. I usually get a good nap and feel great after a good massage but that did not happen this time. I couldn't relax. I went home and have been so sore (not in a good way either). I can't move my shoulders, arms or bend down. My neck is stiff and I've had a migraine since I left. I may try again with someone else but I'm on the fence. Just an update: it's a week after my terrible experience. No one from the spa has reached out. No one has acknowledged my experience. I am still in terrible pain that was caused by the masseuse. I'm now having pain, shocks running down my mid back and legs from the excessive pressure the masseuse used after I told her it was too much, after I told her it was hurting, after she told me it was my fault because of my knots.

My first time meeting the unforgettable esthetician, Lori. As soon as I walked through the door, Lori greeted me with a smile and overflowing southern charm. We laughed and talked the entire time. I wanted to book a couples massage and called over the phone to set it up. I had already looked at their prices online. I had never been to this company before and was able to utilize their introductory cost... or so I thought. When I scheduled it over the phone and a cost was told to me it was with the introductory version of a couples massage coming to around $240 including a 20% tip. Massage day comes and it was great, go to check out and a new price is dropped on me of $330 including tip. I questioned the price and explained I was told differently over the phone and mentioned the introductory price and was told that doesn't apply to a couples massage. I'm not one to argue so I didn't put up a fight as I had no written proof just a phone call conversation. They really need to make sure their front desk people are all on the same page and not telling false information to customers. At the end of the day it's not about the money for me but the fact that I was lied to. With all of that being said do not waste your money on a couples massage with this company. There's nothing special to it or anything just go ahead and book a single massage at the same time and you'll get the exact same experience. With regular single massage pricing you pay $40 extra just to sit in the same room as the person you came with. My final recommendation for a "couples massage" experience is to book 2 single massages with the introductory price. Your total with a 20% tip would be $220 vs paying $330 just to sit in the same room.
