The name 'Loyal' for this company is a total joke! My sister doesn't drive & had used Loyal literally for years. Last night, she had an emergency & needed to take her daughter to A&E. She called Loyal. Unfortunately during the journey she realised she didn't have enough money to pay. The driver was awful to her. He must have seen she was in a state but still he refused to accept that she was a regular customer & he refused to accept her promise she would pay the next day. He also refused to call into the office to check that what she was saying was true - that she had always used them & they also knew where she worked. He threatened to turf her & my 8year old niece, who'd suffered a burn injury, out of the taxi there & then, at 9.30 in the evening! I understand that they're not a charity, they are a business, but this is why i'm baffled by the terrible treatment of a regular customer: it's an irony that they're called Loyal! If they treat regulars like this, then they clearly do not care at all about the service they provide and they deserve to lose trade. The driver even refused to call into the office to confirm that they had my sisters details & that she was a regular. When she did, it took way too long with her literally begging the operator, for them to finally accept her situation, despite having details of both her home address & work address. Their name & service to regular customers is a joke & when I went in today to pay, their total lack of care or interest was really telling. My sister will never use them again, nor will we and I'll make sure to let all my friends know. Really, really disappointed in this bunch of morons. read more
