Since my customer's office is nearby, it's sometimes easier to walk over and let them call one of their taxis to come by and pick me up. Sometimes the wait is short and sometimes the wait is long. The drivers are good. They know the city and since it's prebooked, the fare is set so you don't have to watch the meter. They'll take all the right shortcuts because they want to get paid and be ready for the next customer.

In the early hours of the morning, I was supposed to catch a 1:50 AM coach to the airport to start my vacation. I had pre-booked a taxi through the Veezu app for 1:25 AM - the booking was confirmed days in advance. But at 1:20 AM, I got a message saying they were still looking for a driver. When I called, they told me they had no cars available. Their "solution"? Maybe they could send someone by 1:50 - the exact time my bus was leaving. Absolutely useless and unacceptable. In a complete panic, I called Courtesy Taxis - and to my amazement, a taxi arrived within 2 minutes. Fast, professional, and reliable. Thanks to them, I made it to the coach station just in time, and my holiday wasn't ruined. The fare was reasonable, but their reliability is priceless. I will never use Veezu again - but I will absolutely call Courtesy Taxis any time I need a ride. Thank you for being there when it truly mattered.

I have ordered taxis throughout the UK and NEVER before had a dispatch operator who doesn't recognise anything by the city centre in any city I have been to, who is that rude and who refuses to send out a car because the road in question is long and the church only has a name and not a number on the road.

I had no chance of reaching the bus station on foot at that hour. Thankfully, I contacted Courtesy Taxis, and they arrived within 2 minutes. The price was the same, but the reliability was priceless. I will never use Veezu again. Their service, communication, and app are absolutely unreliable and unacceptable. A total disgrace.

i have decided to stick with this company whenever need a taxi for 3 or 4 years. prices always very…read morefair. staff on the whole very friendly and helpful although do get the odd ones who say nowt or grunt till its time to pay. they call when taxi is outside which i suppose helps either side me not having to wait in cold and driver not having to go knocking on doors. all the cars ive seen or been in are comfy and seem well maintained. cars are equipped with alsorts of gadgets for driver sat nav road angel there are times when there obviously is a wait especially weekends and when local events on but this would be same whatever firm used worth a punt id say

The driver had not 'known where to go' then to top it off, I have just discovered relied on my 8 year old son to tell him an address to go back to and just dropped him there... luckily this was our home address but I am disgusted with this whole situation He has many difficulties himself, including anxiety so being stuck in a random car with a complete stranger, driving aimlessly around for almost an hour, when the trip should have taken no more than 20 minutes is very much not ok and I am completely disgusted Maybe make sure your drivers know where they are meant to be going and are able to follow a satnav before allowing them to collect ANY passengers, but especially young children attending a young carers group!

In concequence they cancelled my taxi at the last minute risking me missing an international flight, even though my bank statment says their system took a payment and then later returned it. My advice is to avoid untill they sort out their IT system.

We booked a taxi for 9am to take us to the railway station allowing us time to be comfortable before our train was due to leave as we usually buy a hot drink to take on the train but also allow time for toilet visits due to medical issues. However, the last time our taxi hadn't turned up by 9am so waited another 5 mins then rang them to be told it was on its way so waited a further 10 mins still not turned up so rang again at 9:15 to be told it was on its way which it was by then but we had been told that at last call and we found out it was only just dropping off a previous customer, it turned up at 9:18 am. The lady on the phone was quite rude and insisted it would be coming and asked what time our train was and said we would still have time to get there, which I didnt think was appropriate and not the issue as although we didn't miss the train it didn't give us time to do what we would normally have to do. Also we allow extra time for traffic conditions as can be a very busy time of the day which they don't seem to consider either.
