Since my customer's office is nearby, it's sometimes easier to walk over and let them call one of their taxis to come by and pick me up. Sometimes the wait is short and sometimes the wait is long. The drivers are good. They know the city and since it's prebooked, the fare is set so you don't have to watch the meter. They'll take all the right shortcuts because they want to get paid and be ready for the next customer.

In the early hours of the morning, I was supposed to catch a 1:50 AM coach to the airport to start my vacation. I had pre-booked a taxi through the Veezu app for 1:25 AM - the booking was confirmed days in advance. But at 1:20 AM, I got a message saying they were still looking for a driver. When I called, they told me they had no cars available. Their "solution"? Maybe they could send someone by 1:50 - the exact time my bus was leaving. Absolutely useless and unacceptable. In a complete panic, I called Courtesy Taxis - and to my amazement, a taxi arrived within 2 minutes. Fast, professional, and reliable. Thanks to them, I made it to the coach station just in time, and my holiday wasn't ruined. The fare was reasonable, but their reliability is priceless. I will never use Veezu again - but I will absolutely call Courtesy Taxis any time I need a ride. Thank you for being there when it truly mattered.

I pre-booked a taxi through the Veezu app on Friday for 1:25 AM - the booking was confirmed. At 1:20 AM, I received a message saying my booking had been dispatched and they were looking for a driver. I immediately called them, only to be told they had no taxis available. I explained my situation, stressing the urgency, but all they could say was "we're sorry." Their best offer was a taxi at 1:50 - which was completely useless, as that's exactly when my bus was leaving. If I missed that bus, I'd miss my flight and my holiday would be ruined. I had no chance of reaching the bus station on foot at that hour. Thankfully, I contacted Courtesy Taxis, and they arrived within 2 minutes. The price was the same, but the reliability was priceless. I will never use Veezu again. Their service, communication, and app are absolutely unreliable and unacceptable. A total disgrace.

In concequence they cancelled my taxi at the last minute risking me missing an international flight, even though my bank statment says their system took a payment and then later returned it. We booked a taxi for 9am to take us to the railway station allowing us time to be comfortable before our train was due to leave as we usually buy a hot drink to take on the train but also allow time for toilet visits due to medical issues. However, the last time our taxi hadn't turned up by 9am so waited another 5 mins then rang them to be told it was on its way so waited a further 10 mins still not turned up so rang again at 9:15 to be told it was on its way which it was by then but we had been told that at last call and we found out it was only just dropping off a previous customer, it turned up at 9:18 am. The lady on the phone was quite rude and insisted it would be coming and asked what time our train was and said we would still have time to get there, which I didnt think was appropriate and not the issue as although we didn't miss the train it didn't give us time to do what we would normally have to do. Also we allow extra time for traffic conditions as can be a very busy time of the day which they don't seem to consider either.

When I confronted the driver and asked him if he was my driver, he looked me dead in the eyes and said "no, he wasn't my driver" and picked up 2 random men in the car park. When I called the owner to complain, he said he would investigate the matter, and call me back, but he never did, instead he lied to Norwich City Council who actually believe him, he must have fiddled with their online dispatch system and sent Norwich City Council an edited version of their drivers route. Norwich City Council actually told me that the owner said that I was never at Norwich train station when I said I was and that the taxi that was sent for me was actually for the 2 random men in the car park. If that's the case, then why were the men asking "where do we get a taxi from?" Coz when I had received the text message from BESTWAY TAXIS to say my driver had arrived, I ran to the car and the licence plate and the make and model of the car was the exact same in the text message, so how could it be for the 2 random men in the car park? If that's the case, then why did they dispatch a 2nd driver to pick me up? I'm currently going through intensive chemotherapy as I have stage IV cancer, and the owner knows this yet insists on lying about me and putting me through this whole ordeal. Please do not use this taxi service, you are better off using a different company from a decent human being, not a scumbag like this owner! Stay well away! You have been warned!
