Today I came to Lowe's because I needed assistance with an issue regarding my kitchen cabinet order. I had the pleasure of being helped by Antawn, and I can honestly say that experiences like this are very rare. From the very beginning, Antawn was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He took the time to listen carefully, helped me send an email to the person we needed to contact, and patiently worked with me while I explained what had happened. He never rushed me and made sure everything was handled with care. What stood out the most was the way he treated us. He made us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely supported throughout the entire process. His positive attitude, willingness to help, and excellent customer service made a lasting impression. It was truly refreshing to see that Lowe's has employees like Antawn who go above and beyond for their customers. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication reflect very well on the company. While I was in the area, I made a quick stop at Lowe's. I browsed around a bit. This home improvement store was large, well-organized, and featured far more displays. I won't go into too much detail regarding the store's products since I was only there for one thing. I had to get a new battery for the key fob. Apparently the batteries I purchased at Harbor Freight lasted no longer than three weeks before my vehicle notifies me that the battery was low. Given the vehicle model, the engine will not start if the key signal is not detected, which would require me to manually unlock and lock the doors. There was a battery display near the self-checkout. They had the 2032 battery in both Energizer and Duracell brands, available in 2-packs, 4-packs, and 6-packs. Here's hoping these last longer. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered a new washer and dryer. It was delivered but the installer either didn't know what he was doing or didn't care. Three major problems 1) installed the wrong lines to the faucet. Hot is on cold and cold is on hot 2) Washer is leaking 3) Only hot faucet works. Can't move the cold faucet handle at all....don't know if he broke it. Tried calling Lowes and asked for someone to come fix it. They expect me to cancel a long-scheduled doctors appt. to sit at home for their "window of 4 hours" even through I told them the times I would be out. I'll have to call a plumber instead to fix this problem since their scheduling is incompetent and they can't change it. On a final note, I purchased a rigid dryer hose to be installed, but the Lowe's person didn't even do that and installed the old hose back on the dryer. Terrible installation service and terrible customer service. Don't know if it's the Pompano location. I used Boynton Beach for a new dishwasher a few months ago, and that installation crew was awesome. read more

Pro Desk, Not friendly and when asked a question the response was, I guess. Not sure, what do you need. Then in the store it was very hard to find someone to help me and when I did they were no help. Steve's response was, I am not an electrician. I didn't need an electrician to answer me question. He shredded me off. The only reason I went was they were a little cheaper than Home Depot and I was going to open up a card to get an additional discount. I hopw it was just this store. We asked an employee for direction, and we were given a welcoming response. Lowe's prices are reasonable. They keep a well organized and tidy store with efficient employees. I've had 2 bad experiences with unhelpful employees and about 30 very positive experiences. Especially the appliance section! deliver - I was having trouble with delivery from other appliance stores, so returned items and bought them from Lowe's. Terrible experience. Ordered curbside yesterday and didn't get filled. Called to cancel last night and waited twice for customer service to pick up. 8 min each time. Finally someone answered and transferred me to order fulfillment who couldn't hear me and then hung up on me when he went to transfer me back to customer service. Called back two more times and no one answered at 8pm. I looked at bank account and they charged me twice for the order. Called back today. Customer service and head cashier still could not cancel the order even though it has not been filled. Transferred me to "manager" and now I have been waiting again 10 minutes on hold. Need the order cancelled and need to have all my money refunded back. I don't know how to get this done. This store is a mess. read more

They are the WORST. I ordered a toilet for my second bathroom 6WEEKS ago! They confirmed delivery date. I took off from teaching to be here for them. Then, a text message saying they only got half of it and would bring it all the next week. That never happened. I had to cancel and reorder. Well after three months they canceled and re-ordered from the Oakland Park store. After another 3 weeks of waiting, the daily it was scheduled for delivery they noticed it was damaged. Re-ordered again. This time they noticed only didn't honor the original price or the extra discount for our trouble they charge a delivery fee. Claimed Pompano doesn't but they do. Finally had enough and just cancelled it. Will order straight from the manufacturer even though it is more expensive. read more

I was sold marble that did not exist so they gave my order ( without me knowing) to Oakland Park. Oakland Park Called me to tell me that there is no such marble and too bad that I waited all day for a delivery that was never going to happen. I will never give Lowe's my business. They are preventing Feeders from feeding or providing water to a colony of cats in Miami that Has been living on their property for 18 years. They have even hired a security company SPECIFICALLY to keep the feeders from feeding and the guards are purposely spilling the water out of the containers in front of the feeders. Just a quick update to our previous review. We had a much better experience here today -- I'm happy to report. We found exactly what we'd been looking for (heavy duty drain cleaner -- not the Draino brand) plus something else we needed but hadn't been planning on buying (damp rids) -- but did so because it was a better price than we've seen elsewhere. We asked two different people for directions and actually got a good answer. I know that sounds strange, but these big box stores can be confusing and sometimes you wind up just wandering the aisles. We usually shop at Home Depot, but due to some inappropriate comments by the conservative owner, we decided to switch to Lowe's. It's a hardware store and not a place to push a particular political agenda. While here, we decided to apply for a Lowe's credit card. Nancy was very helpful and patient putting the application into her register/terminal. Even when some obnoxious drunk sounding guy starting yelling at her for taking too long, she kept her cool. I was a loyal and frequent shopper at this Lowe's store, but no more. They had sweet, fixed cats living in their garden center (most home improvement stores do) for 3 years, keeping the rodent population under control. Recently the store manager randomly decided to have them trapped and "removed " by an area wildlife removal company. One made it out alive and is with a local rescue, the other was trapped by the wildlife company and disappeared, and Lowe's won't tell anyone where that cat has gone. WHERE IS PRU?? I purchased a hot water heater from Lowe's & they had ARS Rescue Rooter install it. The installation had a leak & flooded my condo. Both Lowe's & ARS denied any responsibility. When it came time to get the installation approved by the building inspector it failed. I only gave one star, because I could not leave zero. There were 2 cats living in the garden center for 3 years until the manager decided that he did not want them there anymore. Instead of contacting a rescue group to safely relocate the cats, he hired a trapper to catch them. A rescue group was able to save one, but the other cat, Pru, was not as fortunate. As of now, we do not know Pru's fate, and the manager will not tell anyone what happened to her. For shame. read more

He went above and beyond to try to assist me in this area that was not his area. He offered 5 star service however the store seemed greatly understaffed. Apparently the person in this department called in sick and they had no one in his place. This is the most frustrating experience of all. This is a review of Lowe's customer service, not the Pompano location's employees. The employees onsite are extremely helpful. I ordered a vanity on 2/21. Lowe's website still currently says it is being delivered last Friday, 2/26. When clicking on the tracking, it said 3/4 until yesterday, when it changed to 3/5. Today it says 3/8. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who told me that now that it has shipped, it is out of Lowe's hands and she could not provide me with any assistance in finding out what is happening. She was completely unhelpful, continuously stating that it was out of her hands, and that I would need to contact Estes, the shipping company. My feeling is this - I ordered this item from Lowe's. I didn't ask you to contract it out for shipping. This should be Lowe's responsibility to know where your items are and when they will be delivered. I spoke with a different representative last week who was much more helpful. She actually tried to reach out to Estes and even though she was unable to reach anyone, at least she tried. The representative that I spoke with yesterday refused to help me problem solve at all. I contacted Estes, who were very helpful, and unfortunately, the vanity is still in Atlanta and will not arrive until "sometime" next week. This will be two weeks after Lowe's original estimated date...which still says February 26 on your website. So, currently construction in my home is at a halt because we are waiting for the vanity. read more

The store is what it is and generally has a fair selection of products in it. Some of the people are somewhat helpful. But most of the people they have working in the aisles or generally rude and unhelpful. Maybe they're just rude to women or anybody they perceive may actually need some help but I sent my wife in to pick up some pipe strap and they walked around like a bunch of Keystone cops.
