Sunday February 25, 2018, I required some lumber and hardware from bins. I gathered the hardware first. I then retrieved a bag but the bag station was missing the chained pen, so I checked each of the stations where pens should be, there were none hanging at any one of the stations, so I sought help. I found 'Tim' who was stocking shelves or some such. I said to Tim (another customer told me his name) "Hi Tim, I need help finding a pen to write on the bags can you help me?" Tim responded to me thus; without looking at me he shook his head, then turned and rolled his eyes and proceeded in a raised and annoyed tone to tell me there were many pens all up and down that aisle. He trudged angrily to the aisle where I had been bagging parts, and he proceeded to pace up the aisle haughtily pointing at pens in various random spots none of them where they belong. He said then "OKAY?", to which I answered... "I guess it is if you insist". I then completed writing the bin numbers on my bag went to look for lumber before checking out. (The Cashier is the ONLY reason for leaving even 2 stars, she was awesome.) No, Tim handing my back side on a plate is not my only issue that day. The lumber I needed was depleted (one 2x10x10 PT)so I had to compromise and use 2x8s. After my experience with Tim I feared another angry response from any other associate I might ask for help, so I cut my losses and went to Home Depot to check their lumber. I once applied for work at Lowes in Niagara, they found me unsuitable after multiple interviews. Now I see perhaps they prefer angry hot heads that scare customers away. read more
