I have been shopping at Country Gardens for years for all my annual flowers. After taking over…read moretheir stock of perennials and hiring some of the staff from the former Mori Gardens, I now buy perrenials there as well. I have always found the staff very friendly and help me find a specific plant I am looking for. Every year in May when I go for my large purchase of annuals, the staff always comment on my good sense of blending the flowers. If I wasn't a disabled senior, I would work there. I was formerly an interior plantscape tech, so I know when someone knows their stuff or is trying to bluff you. At Country Basket, if the staff cannot answer your question, they freely admit they do not know and find someone who does know the correct answer unlike some other local nurseries I have dealt with. l am looking forward to my next annual shopping trip in early May!

Called in re: price match guarantee and was told that unless I could produce the flyer they would not honor the promise. As you can see by the picture taken in Rona, the sign clearly states "As Advertised in Flyer". I have gone back and forth with the sales person,John Lampert, and he tells me the manager will not honor it unless I physically have the flyer. Since past flyers are not available how is this possible? Do not trust Lowes "No Hassle Gauruntee" it's impossible to clect on.

I generally go here because they are the closest to my house and they have always taken good care of me and this time was no exception. This weekend I was working on 2 projects, fixing under the sink and getting counter top for the bar. My first stop was to counter tops to get a quote. They were very helpful and informative and after explaining what I was planning recommended their pre-built laminate counter tops (I didn't want to wait several weeks for custom just for a bar in the basement). After that I went down to the wood where they cut some MDF for me that I used to repair under my sink. All the cuts were the right size and it all fit perfectly when I installed it. This place is great for building supplies and the staff is really helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

I am glad that I drop by the Greenhouse Nursery in Niagara College... all these flowers and herbs. A prelude to spring... I just enjoy my stay by smelling all the herbs and taking some photos... BTW, all these plants that are grown by the students in the Horticultural programs at Niagara College. All plant sale revenues are used to support the educational programs at Niagara College. The plants all looks so healthy and fresh... they are really in good shape and well take care of!! I definitely encourage gardeners to pick up some for their own gardens or you can get an indoor plant arrangement as gifts too!!

That request was also met. In person the arrangement was beautifully stunning and filled the room with a glorious fresh flower aroma that lasted unabated for days. The result was exceedingly beyond reasonable expectations for a floral arrangement made by phone from distance in advance of the date required but which needed to be special to match the occasion. At the time the order was placed, the price was already excellent for the arrangement, however, post delivery and the delighted, surprised response from my spouse, the value and customer service far exceeded the cost. It was easy to find staff to ask questions. I only had 10 mins to find florescent light and pay for it. One staff directed me to the lighting section and a second staff member brought me directly to the light tubes.
