Been to this Lowe's several times. I think they do a decent job, offering some lumber items that I can't get elsewhere. I needed some long pieces of wide textures lumber, and Lowe's was the only building supply store that I could find it. read more

Lowe's is often well stocked and I can typically find what I need relatively quickly; it's your basic Lowe's. Their website data usually seems pretty accurate with store inventory. The layout of the store is easy to navigate and the store usually seems pretty tidy. The only issues I've had here are when the time comes to seek employee assistance. Sometimes staff are very busy and it is hard to get help. The paint center has been good about color matching and customer service. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager helped me to resolve a customer service issue. I really appreciated the level of service!

Horrible service with incompetent associates! Went there to pick up an order from curbside pickup. All items weren't there. The associate tried to tell me four 39" window well covers were "in they box"! Clearly, the box was 8"x4"". He closed my order and now I'm out $80.00. Contacted Lowe's online. No help at all! I'm done with them. Do not shop here! read more

Ordered a refrigerator and stove together in one order. There was a deal that if you spent a certain amount, you also got a warranty, free delivery, free installation, and free haul away. I assumed that because I ordered two appliances together, they would haul away both my appliances and that the delivery date I selected was also for both. I scheduled them to be delivered a month later on a day where I didn't have to work. Then got an email a saying my refrigerator would be delivered way earlier. I rescheduled to match the date of the stove delivery. Now, it is delivery day and I get texts saying both appliances are coming, but then received a call saying the order for the stove installation was processed wrong and it "won't be delivered today." It has been a MONTH since I ordered and they waited until delivery day to tell me??? I called Lowe's to straighten it out, was transferred multiple times and cut off twice. I'm currently sitting on a 3rd call and just hit the hour mark of being on hold. I would give zero or negative stars if I could. read more

I ordered a pantry cabinet, knowing it needs assembly. 2 boxes, each weighing over 100#, was left in my locked lobby. I am 71 years old and only 5 feet tall. I have noway to get the boxes into my unit. I was notified it was being delivered AFTER it had been deliverered. So helpful... not! Lowes says it's not their problem and told me to contact Fed Ex, who also will do nothing. Guess it'll have to be returned as i can't get it into my loft for assembly read more

When the product arrived I opened the box and started putting the vanity together. When I got to the end and went to put the mirror section on the back the mirror was shattered when I unwrapped it. I had already spent almost 3 hours putting this thing together so I was not about to take it apart to return it. I called Lowes and was told a return was the only option soo my time was worth more than the 6 hours it would have taken to take it apart and pack it up and drive it back to a Lowes store and then take the new one and put it back together. I took the back piece with the mirror to a glass shop and paid 100 bucks to have a new mirror installed. So needless to say my time working with Lowes looks to be done. I'll stay with Home Depot and Menards. Thanks for nothing Lowes read more

I was surprised at how helpful the staff was. I am new to the area. I needed plants for my front porch and they answered my questions and gave me good tips. The staff was friendly, easy to find things and good prices. I will definitely be back. read more

The store's customer service has improved a lot. We've been regular customer for years and in our recent visits we've been assisted promptly and most of the items we've been able to find somebody to assist us while going through the aisles. This is a great store, and supports veterans! Suggestion to the store: It'd be great if you had a container for disposal of regular batteries, there is only one for rechargeable ones. Or regular ones can be disposed in it, too? read more

Lowe's Fence Installation Nightmare. If I could, I would give a -13 stars after experiencing what can be considered a text book example of how to do as much wrong as possible. It took 6 weeks to complete a two-day job. Local after-sale support was non-existent. Sales rep was unreachable and was of no help at any point after receiving payment. I had to manage the project personally, often every 30 minutes for an entire week, to keep the subcontracted installers from building the fence the wrong way. Local store #2309 (Wauwatosa, WI) did nothing to provide the installation crew with adequate instruction materials for a fence style they had never worked with. I had to call the telephone support several times to get PDFs of instructions. Sales rep ordered too few critical pieces. When I asked ETA of parts, I was advised it would be three weeks, to which I expressed that was unacceptable. I ended up calling the manufacturer directly and got the materials shipped in three days. At no point did Lowe's call me to advise status of this order. Installation crew bungled several aspects, including planting posts over a clearly marked lot line. They treated the yard like a new construction job site, leaving open bags of concrete in the rain, plastic wrapping debris blowing into neighbors' yards, using neighbor's driveway to cut boards to length, and so much more. No support from anyone at the local store left it up to me to enforce appropriate practices, often with raised voices, to respect my property as well as my neighbors'. If given choices, I will avoid purchasing anything from Lowe's in the future. read more

I still like Lowe's but the service just slowly goes downhill every time I visit. Went last night to get a door lock and wanted it keyed to match another lock in my house. At 5 pm there was no one in the store that could do this and I was told to come back later. My love of Lowe's is slowly fading. Unless you know what you want I suggest going elsewhere. So sad to watch this place go down... read more

We stopped in to purchase a new stove for our new home we purchased that day. Ended up purchasing a stove and a refrigerator. Juan was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I purchased a garage door opener and it's still unopened, so I called to see if I could still get the extended warranty and how much it was. An associate picked up the phone without proper decorum and respectful customer service skills! The problem in today's society is the lack of order and accountability, no consequence, no real humility! She acted as though I was snapping at her and that she didn't want to do her job of answering a pretty simple question, so she puts me on hold for 10 mins twice, though the 2nd time she never answered the phone only picked up then put me on hold immediately without saying anything! We wonder why we have so many terrible people without the necessary skills to be recognized as an asset to our society! Better off purchasing through Amazon because local businesses are really suffering, no appreciation for keeping it local! read more

I have two reviews. I took delivery of a range, and everything went well. The drivers were on time, even a little early, and installed the range and hauled away the old one. Excellent I ordered a dishwasher and was not told when I ordered that it would not include haul away if the dishwasher was not uninstalled. So, now I have a new dishwasher sitting in my living room, and I am to make my own arrangements to have the old one uninstalled. If I had known that, I would have bought from Best Buy; they take care of it all. read more

Out with the old and in with the new. This refrigerator is 4X more efficient than his old Dino-rator. The refrigerator was delivered yesterday. They sent two guys what were polite, called a half hour before delivery, were on time and took care to remove the doors that were installed plus leveled the feet and doors. The exterior had some adhesive gum on it which was easy to remove. My brother seems happy with his new Frigidaire. read more

Lowe's is "ok" - it's a lot like Home Depot and definitely better than Menards. Hubs and I were out shopping for a kitchen remodel project and Lowe's was one of the stops. The good: *They seem to stock a larger selection of "decorative" things than Home Depot - by that I mean sinks, tile, garden accessories, etc. *They sell smaller appliances like vacuums + mixers so you don't have to fight the crowds at Best Buy *Prices on things can be WAY cheaper than Home Depot. Quartz counters here were 20% less than HD for the exact same thing. The bad: *Things don't really appear to be laid out logically. You go from kitchen cabinets to plumbing fittings, or from lighting to furnace filters. Huh? The so/so: *Service is hit or miss. We bought a grill here last year because they were more helpful than HD. Today was a different story - we were looking for a quote and were told rather abruptly that there was only one person who did that and she was busy. Might be a good idea to staff heavier on the weekends....too bad for them because we went somewhere that was interested in our business and placed the order. Verdict: If you know what you need and don't require assistance, you can score some good deals. read more

We ordered a refrigerator through Lowe's for the upstairs unit of our rental property, after the compressor went out on the existing one. The delivery team refused to attempt delivery because of the turns in the staircase. They said it would not fit, which is not true, because the existing fridge was bigger than the new one being delivered and got up there just fine. They spent all of two minutes at the property before leaving. I cancelled my order immediately and purchased elsewhere. read more

Robert and James in the appliance department were horrendous! Any question you asked them about the appliance, warranty, return policy were all incorrect. They didn't even give us the correct delivery date, charged us TWICE for a washer and dryer. We went to the service desk to get it fixed and the Marisa was so confused... somehow she still didn't return the second set of appliances. Overall we spent 2 1/2 hours waiting around because Robert 1. Talked in a whisper or just said "ya". 2. Didn't know what he was doing when he placed the order 3. Walked away once we pointed out his mistake. Meanwhile, James was on his way to someone's house...no one else is available to help. The 3rd party delivery company was so confused, they tried to delivery two sets of appliances. the day of the actual delivery , they didn't show until I called twice. I don't recommend visiting Robert or James in the appliances. read more

My friend purchased a storm door and screen door from Lowes and she thought she would have someone install it on her own. Never use this company for a remodel of any kind. I had a simple project - replacing my kitchen cabinets and installing new laminate flooring for my condo. The only reason I went to Lowe's was because I figured (wrongly) that using one company would provide me with the service I thought I deserved as a paying customer. First, Lowe's requires that you pay them up front for the service. Most independent contractors require 30% down, 30% half way through the job and 30% at completion. This is so you can hold them accountable while providing them with cashflow. Greedy corporations float on your money while mismanaging the project. Second, Lowe's uses independent contractors. I was asked to sign that the deliveries were correct and that the product was installed according to manufacturer's requirements to secure the warranty. Seriously? How am I to know what the standards are? The boxes that were delivered did not have ID that matched the invoice - even the driver's were clueless when we tried matching product. As for the installation, several pieces were over ordered, wrongly ordered, or missing. This meant the independent contractor showed up and could not complete the job. Third, me, the paying customer, had to be the general contractor. The sales rep, the independent contractors did not communicate the missing, over ordered or damaged items to each other. They have been clueless all through the project. Two examples are the sales rep did not know my appliances were delivered 3 weeks ago and that I might want them put into place after the flooring went in? And, when I called to see who was responsible for putting the appliances into place, no one could give ma an answer. The other example is how Lowe's had the independent contractor remove my kitchen sink and leave me without one now for 4 weeks. Lowe's thinks this is my problem to fix. So, since I don't want to keep paying for plumbers to come out, I am living off paper plates and take out. To top it off, I have had to step in count everything, report problems and yes, even take merchandise back to the store as if I worked for Lowes and just to save them a few bucks. Again, seriously? I could go on, but the point is, these big box stores are horrible. They really don't care about you, the paying customer. They are eager to take your money in full, then drop the ball over and over with regards to delivering the product and getting it installed in a timely manner. They do not communicate timelines and refuse to take responsibility for when they screw up orders or be accountable for product being measured or installed correctly. Do not do business with them. read more

Lowe's customer service is truly lacking. We purchased many things recently and one day , when we couldn't get any help in plumbing, we stood in the store and ordered two faucets on my cell phone from lowes online. No biggie, right? Well the delivery date was scheduled for 8/9. When that date came, I checked the order status and it said delivered. However, I had not received any package. I called the number on the email and it said, "for any issues with a current order call your local store" and hung up. Not me, the answering system. Shocked that I now had no way to find out anything about my order. I stopped by my local store. None of the ladies there could tell me anything about my order, they said it's a separate business and that I'd need to call the number again during Monday through Friday business hours. To me this is unacceptable. Maybe they need to take a lesson from Amazon when it comes to online ordering and customer service. This was my fav home improvement store. Not any longer. read more

I keep forgetting you have to know what you want and need from this store or order for curbside pick up or else you will not revenant help, even after tracking sales associates down who claim they will be right with you then after 40 minutes of waiting they leave cause their shift is over and never find someone else to help you.... The salespeople here are very helpful. Every time I go here people are there to help me pretty well immediately. It might be overkill, but one night 3 guys helped me find a drill. Afterwards I rushed to a mirror to check if I turned to a beautiful blond! Never had a real problem here just a small issue where I took it a part to try to compare to something else and when I came back up to the front to do a return the lady was upset that I took the return to the back which was kinda odd since I've done the same at other Lowe's store nationwide & never had a problem, but anyway I I like this little store and will keep coming back . read more

I was in need of getting a key made. So I went to customer service first. Waited for about 3 mins. Then the associate instructed me to head to ailse 14. I waited there assuming they would page an associate, but they never did. So I walk around, found an associate, but he claimed he didn't know how to work the key machine. So I walk back to customer service, then the lady decided to actually page someone this time. So I walk back to 14 and wait. The guy that showed up was very lackluster, you can tell he didn't care. I paid for it, and left. Overall the experience was not good at all and really discouraged me from visiting this location again. read more

I rarely write these things but I will for this. This review is for Ultimate Home Services, the subcontractor who installs flooring for Lowes in the Milwaukee area. These guys were the best part of my experience. They sent out a tech to perform measurements, Kyle, really had his act together, answered many of my questions and did a thorough job. The schedule person, Denise, also was very nice and professional. The crew showed up on time and did the work in one day, as opposed the the scheduled 2 days. All things were done to my satisfaction. I was so mad at Lowe's. Ordered two couches for an exhibition, on June 12. Got a confirmation for pick up on the shop for June 19. I was going to pick them up on June 23, Inform them as well. Do not purchase any appliances from Lowes. Their delivery charges are quite high and you could be waiting weeks to get the item. Their customer service is terrible. They don't follow up with you. I bought new counter tops at lowes. Jetson was very nice and was a great help picking out what we wanted. He is the only reason why there is one star in my review( and that you can't give zero stars) but seriously he is great. He even remembered my wife and I when we were in at the store at a later date. Ok on to the bad stuff.. My counter top is not level. It looks terrible. The contractor came back out once, didn't fix the issue and actually caused more damage. I called customer service at lowes. They said they would call back within 24-48 hours. That was 5 days ago. Still no phone call. This project is delaying getting my kitchen all put away and functional. I was in picking up an online order the evening of 4/19 at Wauwatosa Lowes... stopped by the Garden Center showing signs on shelf for 4 Pack Annuals 5 for $10. I loaded up my cart with 20 of them which would be $40. The ring at the register was $63 and the cashier didn't know why nor did she seem to care. So I had to go back to Garden Dept and the associate said... "Oh... this sale ended on 4/13. So 6 days later the signs are still prominently displayed in front of the product and the Manager would not honor the advertised shelf price. Not only is that illegal, it's poor business practice and bad customer service. Not to mention several store Managers not being on top of that signage 6 days later. I like this store so much better than that other major home improvement store. You know... the orange place. Lowe's is really similar, with a few important differences... Cleaner & better selection. I went in the other day looking for kitchen cabinet knobs. I will say, I despise the maze-like feel of these places. There's nobody to point you in the right direction either. But, I found what I needed. Good selection, and nice stuff with plenty of stock. Checkout was a breeze, they have self-checkout with a person right there to jump in and help if you have any problems. I had 34 of the same item, the attendant came over to ring it in so I wouldn't have to scan all 34. Thanks miss attendant! I particularly like the BBQ selection at Lowe's. 3.5 stars for this particular Lowes. This store seems to be OK for your run of the mill chores or home fixer-upper projects. I've found some of the prices to be all over the map. They can be higher on some items like plumbing and sink accessories, but lower on other consumables such as gardening stuff (pots for tomatoes, flowers etc). Their stock confuses me. We recently re-did our bathroom and had a hell of a time finding an appropriate (re : not cheap plastic, but actual metal) faucet that would go in our sink, as was the case for a new faucet for our bathtub. Their stock on both faucets was extremely limited and we wound up getting them from Menards in the end. They also offer clearance items, usually in the aisle that's off to the right as you're entering the main entrance, but I've found there's no rhyme or reason and the quality can vary. My husband and I usually stop at this Lowe's first since they usually have everything we need. It's close to our home, it works and makes sense for us to go here. The customer service we've experienced can be all over the place, but we've had the same thing happen at Home Depot or Menards, I think it just depends if you get a motivated customer service associate who knows what they are talking about. We'll continue to come here for our home repair needs, but I wouldn't hesitate to do some comparison shopping at HD or Menards, either. read more
