I bought a dishwasher from them a little over a week ago. All was fine until a few days later when it just stopped working. Display showed random error codes, which were not explained in the manual. So I called them to see if it could be exchanged or if someone could come out to fix it. I was told they could not be exchanged or returned but that they would send someone this morning to fix it. I got a call back last night that no one will be coming today and was given the phone number for the manufacture as "it's their problem now". Such a shame that they are not only selling broken products, but completely refused to rectify the issue by offering no solution and no help in finding one. My son worked there for over a year, at first, he could never get hours despite working when ever asked and whatever department they threw him in. This year they schedule him daily and daily tell him not to come in as they over scheduled...management is lax Now they fired him. why? he was not in his department as another manager asked him to work in a different department. In fact, this happened every day where when he works, he never got to work in his own department but in garden or offloading a truck. As all young people, he did what management told him to do. Customer service for Lowe's.com had me dealing with this issue for HOURS between the local and online stores. I purchased a dishwasher and with hose kit purchase came a free install. I screenshot the page of my order that said this. About 4 hours to get them to honor that and dishwasher shows up without installer, which they said it would several times. There is no care for the customer here. They just want their $ and if you ask for a manager, they'll keepu on hold all day. Complete joke. You even get a fake case number after they tell you what you want to hear with zero intention of even making another on it. Never again. Home Depot girl all the way now! We went to Lowes in Toms River NJ looking to purchase a front door with side lights. A young woman who works in that department attempted to show us what the store offered. After a very short while we could tell that she had no clue what she was doing or had any interest in working. At one point, and for no reason, she stated to me and my wife that "her father was in the hospital and she didn't want us to go near her." At that point we left the store never to return. Very disappointed. I buy my appliances from Lowe's, because with creditcard you get discounts. This is the second time I have had a issue. Had a washer and dryer delivered Saturday. After waiting home all day. My window was 2-6. They came after 6 with a damaged dryer. So I only got the washer and stuck with no dryer. I can't understand for the life of me why they don't open the boxes before delivery instead of opening it when they pull up to the house, this way they would know its damaged and let you know. Now because they wouldn't deliver it when I get out of work on Monday which is 6. (The time they showed up on Saturday), I now have to wait until Wednesday and waste another day off in the summer. And not even anything offered to us to keep us coming back. Like ok we will wave the 50 dollar hook up charge nothing. It's July 11th and my delivery date got pushed back AGAIN for July 18th. The appliances are literally in the store. I went there in person on July 9. However, it took 3 people and 2 hours to come to this conclusion. I don't understand why we are not getting our appliances when they are actually in-store. We managed to walk out with 2 out of the 4 appliances we ordered, one of which was dented and we ended up returning anyway. My husband and I have had daily calls with Corporate customer service and the fulfillment team at Toms River. No one is being transparent. Went into Lowe's to replace the faucet in my bathroom. Every single faucet on the shelf had the packaging torn open, while others were clearly scotch taped to appear unopened. On top of that, each package were missing parts and I was unable to find a SINGLE faucet with all the necessary components. To add to the dumpster fire that is Lowe's on Hooper Ave, some of the packages had dust/dirt inside of them, and scratched up products. The manager tried to sell me an entire new faucet & shower head, instead of the single part that I was asking for. Don't EVER buy a Samsung appliance from Lowe's ever again. Lowe's only has a 2 day warranty if you do not buy their own extended warranty. I contacted Samsung directly and had 3 technicians come to my house to inspect the internal damage to my freezer door. Three times over the past 10 months I have purchased online, paid, received a "ready for pick up" email only to go to Lowes to receive a partial order or wrong order. Why in the world would a company as large as Lowes not have real time online so if something is allowed to be in your shopping cart and paid for; it should also be in stock, especially when you get an email stating that your order is ready for pick up?!?! They don't offer substitute items for your inconvenience or even try to make things right, just an insincere "sorry". Not only that but if you check for the items a week later on the Lowes website it shows the items still in stock!! They don't even transfer items from other stores to the local store for customer convenience. Shopping in the store is a poor experience also, if you require help in any way good luck finding an associate, not alone an associate willing to "help"! Ordered over $3,000.00 in limber and they took the opportunity to clean out their junk wood bin. Less than 50% of the wood they sent me was usable. out of 107 pcs. of 5/4, 61 of them had strap and forklift damage. One board was twisted more than 18 degrees, and many others resembled a banana more than a piece of wood. The worst board was 4 7/8" out of straight on 16 feet. The rest with few exceptions were knotted up so bad that they can only be used by cutting them down to shorter lengths. I am a contractor and last year spent over a million in lumber alone. I was talked into placing this order by the associates at the pro desk against my better judgement after a similar experience just a few months earlier. All I can say is that if you have to buy lumber from Lowe's be sure to pick their pile yourself otherwise you will get all their crap. read more

this is not the closest Lowe's to my house but i like their plant section and the people that work there. i am always on the lookout for clearance plants - plants that aren't in good shape or that are finished blooming. this lowe's takes good care f their plants and the ones in they put on clearance only need a little time and TLC. they really mark the plants down to a great price. yesterday they had floor plants for $5 (see an example in the photo). if you are looking for plants that need a little love this is the place to go! read more

When you call to speak with someone they either hang up, don't answer or keep passing your call around. Worst run store and I think this is might be company wide. The system for installations is awful. We placed an order for installation and they "forgot" to contact the installer. The installer finally comes out for measurements and says; "contact them if they don't call you back in 48 hours". When I contacted them as he said I was told; "you have to be more patient and give the installer more time". Weeks and numerous calls later still no call no show from installer. Lets start this off right, we appreciate Lowes give Military 10% discount on all purchases. So we wanted to order 55 sections of fencing, 10 poles, 6 bags of concrete. My mother proceeded to pay for the entire order $2500.00 worrh. My father and i went to the garden center to tell them we will be back in 4 hours to pick up all the merchandise, it would be great if you could have it down and staged for us to pickup. I showed up ontime to pick up, customer service had to make 3 or 4 calls, we had to wait 10-15 minutes before someone showed up, we walked into the back as if they didnt know anyone was coming to pickup material. Then they had to go search for the safety gates to block aisles, after another 20 mins they start bringing it out to the trailer i have outside the gate. My Brother In Law and I loaded the entire 2 pallets, then had to wait 10 - 15 mins for them to bring rest of fencing panels. Our i needed 55 panels, they only had 50, 2 panels were defective, which i took anyway because no one acted as if anymore would ever come in or even discount the damaged panels. After an hour and half we just wanted to get home to off load before the nighttime fell over us. I so wish Channel Home Centers or Rickels was still around. They were helpful and understanding. We purchased a grill online on 7/3/20 and received confirmation our grill would be delivered today, 7/9/20 between 8am - 12pm. When our grill never arrived, we were told we needed to call XPO. XPO had no idea what we were talking about and told us to call Lowe's. After calling the store back, being put on hold for ages, I was finally put in touch with their delivery department. The guy who answered (so rude) told me those grills aren't in stock and wouldn't be for several more weeks. We totally wasted four hours sitting here waiting for a delivery that was never even coming. We never received notification it was out of stock. The manager I spoke to said XPO should have called us. WTF? After spending thousands of dollars at this Lowe's over the years buying appliances to cabinets and everything we needed to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, we are finally done with shopping here. We are remodeling our bathroom in September--and had already picked out our vanity, exhaust vents, medicine cabinet and accessories in the store--but will solely be shopping at Home Depot now. They match the 5% off anyway. Terrible customer service at this Lowe's!
