The place was quite busy on this overcast day. Once in the large greenhouse, you were surrounded by all types of flora. The colors were very pretty. There were some vegetable plants, but the majority were flowers, mostly annuals, though a few perennials. Indoors wasn't much in tune due to the virus, thus there were no fresh vegetables nor fruit on display. Staff helpful.

His recommendations were perfect as I went with the "General" and had the majority of my yard redone with pavers. The style, border and paver color are spot on, and I am so happy with it! This was a decent size job and was reasonably priced, the crew was very caring, neat, efficient and worked hard since access to my yard was limited so everything had to be wheelbarrowed in. I never expected the job to be so stress free but thanks to this crew and workmanship it was! My yard looks great and is so much more enjoyable. I would definitely choose the General to landscape again and highly recommend them for all paver patio projects.

I was on the hunt for a very specific size of coconut liner and finally found it here - already a big win. On top of the hanging basket liner, I found a few plants flowers to add to my already found haul and some veggie and herb plants as well. The space is massive, so come when you have some time to bop around and take it all in. The plants were all on the more expensive side, so I didn't go too crazy, but we are already a few months in and everything is thriving and growing very well. I stopped by on a very rainy Saturday at the start of the summer and even with the downpour, it was busy. The parking lot was a bit hectic, but I can't imagine what it looks like on a sunny day! Clearly a favorite for locals and I see why. When I do find myself in the area and in need of new plants (always) I'll make Barlow's one of my stops.

The interior of the shop is full of beautiful, lush plants of all different kinds. Many are tropical which are grown in Florida while others are grown locally in New Jersey. They are from individual small businesses rather than big box companies which tend to use chalky soil and poorer quality materials that lead to a worse quality plant. The attention to detail is important for happy and healthy plants! I drove in from work about 20 minutes before the shop closed and didn't want to be a bother while the shop owner was closing, but Gabby was so friendly and happy to chat through closing while she helped me pick out some plants to take home. She could easily identify all of the plants I might like to try as a new plant mom, sharing tips and tricks for keeping them healthy and the types of soil I might need for house plants vs gardening. I walked away with two cute new plants and so much helpful gardening info! As I was primarily looking at the small plants, I saw they ranged from around $17ish to mid $20 range. There are also a lot of plant hobby goods for sale like books, decor, and soil. Tiny Greenhouse also has a bunch of social events during the month like candlemaking, sound baths, pizza & herb gardening, and ceramics! I'm so excited to return for an event and most likely pick up another plant!

The choices are incredible. It is about 50 mins from me (which is probably a good thing) but I will definitely make a trip back here when I go to the shore!
