Brought them back wanting to exchange, however, they were out of stock. Accused by both men working there of lying about what happened to these items and was told that I could have run them over with my car which is 100% impossible based on where they were placed in my gardens. Misspoke about the cost and was jumped on as if I had stolen them. Was finally grudgingly offered 1/2 price for each and was so incensed that I took the money and left. Have NEVER been treated so rudely anywhere. Wasn't expecting it at a place where I've spent a fair amount of money on plants over the years. Will NEVER go back there again. There are many other garden centers in the area with much better customer service..

Wednesday morning, right in the middle of the predicted delivery window, I received a call stating the pallet was on the sidewalk beside my front steps, followed by a text with a photo of an insane amount of mulch wrapped up like granny's ankles after yoga class. It is the gold standard, IMHO, as someone who has worked at farms and greenhouses over the course of decades, these are the people from whom I have sought counsel the most when. In New Jersey. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and suited to local conditions because they are greenhosed on site by an expert horticulturist. The 'book learning' aspect of the son, Alan, is beautifully balanced by the depth and breadth of knowledge from Don himself, a local farmers with hands on experience and an ear to the ground, full of local lore. Excellent customer service to boot. If you're looking for substance and quality and knowledge, look no further! An extraordinary enterprise much appreciated by us dedicated fans.
