Good store except workers never ask to help you when your searching in their department for an item. They are either busy stocking or talking in small groups. Infact, today I couldn't find 4" tubing for a vent and asked a couple employees where it was at. Instead of taking me there they said it was the next isle over, about bay 4. It wasn't there so I went back and interrupted their conversation AGAIN and took one of them over there. And behold-- it wasn't in their department- so did they take me to where they thought it was? Oh no, he said it was somewhere around Isle 35 or 36. and walked away. read more

I am a disabled Veteran and find it is great for Lowe's to offer the 10% off for Veterans after bringing in your DD214 10 years with 3 Overseas Deployments. I can not leave the house due to medical reasons and even the VA Treats me at Home coming to my house. y wife has gone to Lowe's several times using my Lowe's Veterans Card , State ID and Credit Card. Our Lowe's Store is 25 miles from my home. On several occasions they refused to honor it. Even getting rude to my wife using a voice that could be overheard by other patrons even causing another VET to come over and defend my wife. It was as though she was a thief. Used to go to Lowe's all the time because they gave military discounts. My disabled war veteran, husband, takes the time to set up the military discount account by Bringing in his DD 214 and two forms of ID not to mention the wait in line time to set up the account. He does all this, so I (his wife) can run to Lowe's and pick up whatever he wants and get the 10% discount. He did all this because he hates to shop and he hates to wait in line and he hates to deal with nonsense. Everything was great, until today when Wanda tells me you don't get the discount because your husband is not here. Lowe's have changed the rules. You need to bring him in for the discount. I told her we set the account up, we've done this 100 times before and she said sorry you can't do that any more. So guess what? We will never go back. Sorry (Not Sorry) Last year we spent over $25,000 with them. And now over $10 we will shop elsewhere. read more

What a chaotic disaster! Saturday in June- one guy running around the lumber yard. Long line to get in We had to wait for each person in front of us to load because there was crap all over the aisles. Finally get to the wood we need and they only have 7 of the 12 boards we just paid for and spent an hour waiting to get to them. Then we have to load up the guy in front of us with 30 4x4's just to get in the next line to leave Never again will I shop at this Lowe's. read more

While there were logistical issues with the computer system and the distribution center in Findlay (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), she saved my business. I stopped in my local Lowe's ( Sandusky ) to buy a new dishwasher and washing machine. I browsed the appliance section for 40 minutes and not one sales associate asked if I needed help. Several guys walked past me as I was opening and closing doors on items I left the store and drove across the street to Home Depot and received assistance immediately from a knowledgeable associate. Sorry Lowes, you lost my business forever. I don't have time to stand around in your store waiting on someone to write up a $1400 sale! Guess Lowe's is doing well, not needing extra sales. read more

Today I went to Lowes and I cant say enough good things about their customer service. In the plant department I was assisted by an older gentleman who was a great help and knowledgeable! Recently I had the Displeasure of doing business with this place. when I got in the store ice I stood there for nearly 45 minutes before before somebody showed up up to ask me if I need help. To which by that time I already knew which washer and dryer I was going to get. The Sales representatives the assistant me singed nice and knowledgeable enough at the time at the time I didn't know until a week laterThat their sales were we're severely lacking. 2 or 3 key items 2 dumbs to my purchase were never sold to me having never bought a washer dryer before I had assumedThe items that I needed and were not sold to me came with the items items I was purchasing. This this is when I find out the hard way is that the delivery delivery drivers were not exactly the friendliest of people. I asked them if they could please pull off to the side of the road so not to block the entire route or people's driveways and they pretty much told me to p..so off. Seeing as how I needed these appliances I allowed them to continue And they seemed nice enough after that that is when I found out the sales people did not do their do their job very well and I was missing a couple key items that have been keeping me from using the appliances I just purchased. They were supposed to deliver the missing items the next day yesterday all I got told was they tried when they never did because they took a picture of my front door like that's delivering or making an attempt. I can take a picture of your front door and tell you I knocked on it but nobody answered so I left. That doesn't prove that I it made an attempt to Or anything. They then followed that up with a lie Claiming that they would deliver the next day which I just found just found out they had no intention of delivering next day but instead 3 days from then. They never asked if that was OK or when to reschedule 4 they never asked they don't even ask what time is good for youThey just assume because you made a purchase from them you are automatically available whenever they feel lthey feel like scheduling you for delivery delivery and then expect you to Be there whether you have previously scheduled things or not. Over the phone their staff is extremely rude and confrontational. Go elsewhere avoid this place. Me and my husband went to Lowes to look at a range. While there, a man named Scott waited on us. He was so obnoxious. When we told him what we wanted in a range, only your group of people would want that, we don't have it here, we would have to order it. What did he mean by that? I bought a Whirlpool microwave and paid the extra $115 to have it installed. After the installation, we noticed a large dent in the microwave. We called the installer and Lowes for a replacement. The installer returned twice with new microwaves that were also dented. After calling Lowes again, a man named Eric told me that I had to sign off on the next re-installation that if the 4th microwave was dented, I would have to bring it in myself. No new, undented microwave ever showed up and, after calling Lowes Corporate, I was told that this Eric guy said I signed off on keeping the dented microwave. I never signed anything of the sort. I do not recommend this store. read more
