I was visiting cedar point with some friends, and during my time, the screws in my glasses came loose, and my glasses fell apart. I was in need of my glasses getting fixed and was worried I wasn't able to cause I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I thought I was going to have to wait until I got back later this week. Out of my glasses the entire time, of course. I walked into this SVs vision and was greeted by two extraordinary ladies at the front desk. I told them what happened to my glasses, and they were willing to help right away, given my circumstance. I am not too sure of the lady that helped me (I believe to be the office manager who helped me), but I could not be more grateful for her hospitality and willingness to help. Because of her, I now have my glasses back and fixed and was even given a case to keep them safer. If anyone is visiting Sandusky, Ohio, or from here, I would absolutely recommend coming to this for any optical needs. read more

I was needing new glasses for a specific type of work. LOVED my choice of SVS. Very professional, detailed, friendlly and on time . They texted me more than once to remind me of my upcoming appointment and was happy for that. I tend to forget stuff, especially during the holiday season. DR. Eric was friendly, fun and very detailed. He answered a lot of questions I had about my eye changes and listened to my needs. I did not feel rushed at all and there was no upselling. They have a great selection of frames and price points and I was really surprised at how reasonable the charges were. I did get a senior discount as I have no vision insurance. Have been going to SVS Vision and Dr. Balthasar for years. Tried another optometrist one time for insurance purposes and closer proximity. It was a major disappointment and waste of time. Went back to Dr. B to get a correct prescription. Good to see that the staff are still wearing masks and expect customers to do the same. The pandemic isn't over! People are still getting sick and dying from Covid-19. If we ever have a prayer of ending this and truly getting our lives back to normal, masks need to be worn indoors in public spaces until the rate of infection and deaths is way down. We can't trust that those who choose to continue to go unvaccinated will respect the health of others and wear a mask unless it's required by the business. Thanks, SVS! read more

I really love the staff that work at Sandusky oh svs. They Really care . They give there a pinning I wear the coke bottle lenses . They put me in great frame and really thin lenses . The doctor there he great . When I got there I was very nervous of seen him I was a afraid of what he would do . Before I move here I only trust my old eye doctor that I had when I was little . My prescription had barely changed, but I needed new glasses but held off on getting new prescription sunglasses. Well my prescription had changed enough that it was difficult to use my sunglasses.
