I have been here three times. The first two times, I was quite pleased with everything. I paid my…read morebill in full upon receipt of treatment and healed. The last time was AWFUL. It was like a nightmare. Staff were NASTY and the doctor was like a completely new person. I was crying by the time I left. I will BE NEVER go back here nor will I recommend it to anyone. I thought it was a great place until this last visit. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. And for absolutely no reason.

My daughter had her four impacted wisdom teeth removed on October 16th, 2020. She started having…read morepain after eating a piece of candy on October 24th. We went to see Dr. Helmcamp on October 26th. He took a ct scan. I asked if it was an infection. No no he said. That wouldn't cause all of a sudden pain. She may have a slight crack in her jaw. Eat like you have no teeth for six weeks. Here's some Amoxicillin to take but I don't think it's an infection. Keep alternating between 800 mg Motrin and Tylenol. He asked to see her again on October 28th. She was more swollen and in more pain. Waking up during the night due to pain. I was even more concerned. He examined her and saw infection. Sent my husband to the waiting room. Sliced my daughters gum. When he was done, sent my daughter out to check out area. Called my husband to schedule an appointment for the 30th. Dr. Helmcamp just sat behind desk doing his charting. My husband had to request to talk to him. When finding this out after work, I was livid. Tried to call the office at 4:15, of course they were closed. Left vm asking someone to call me the next day. I even went into detail about how upset and worried I was. No one EVER returned my call. On Friday I decided to call another oral surgeon out in the Cleveland area. That office recommended I take my daughter to UH Rainbow and Babies ER because they have state of the art CT scan machines. My husband and I took her there on the 30th and cancelled appointment with Helmcamp. They did bloodwork and the scan. My daughters jaw did NOT have a crack. The bloodwork showed an infection in her gum tissue and swollen lymph nodes due to the infection being so bad. They prescribed her a much stronger antibiotic, Dexamethosone, gave her IV fluids, and a pain med in the IV that was not a narcotic but stronger than Advil. My gosh, she is FINALLY on the road to recovery. Stay away from this clown. He does not know how to listen, give you eye contact,, or know what the hell he is doing!!!!!
