Spring is here and it's time to TREAT YO SELF! I love wayfarer sunglasses with their classic, face-flattering chic and wanted a classic pair of Ray-Bans. So, I did a little research online before heading into the store, deciding I would be buying either the Classic Original Wayfarer frames or the New Wayfarer frames; I wanted to try them on in person first to see the differences for myself. I had an excellent service experience with a helpful, dapper young man who really knows the product well. He directed me right where I needed to go, helped me select the size of frames best suited to my face, and outlined all the subtle differences between the different options of frames and lenses. Within 5-10 minutes I found exactly what I needed/wanted, and was out the door with the smile of Retail Therapy spread wide across my face! In the past, I hadn't looked to Sunglass Hut because I had the notion that it was an overpriced outlet. In actuality, the prices were exactly the same as on Ray-Ban's website and other online retailers, but with the added perks of an excellent warranty and service program; it included warranty against damage, free cleaning, and help with repairs. It was a superior customer service experience and I am fully satisfied! I wouldn't hesitate to go back when the need arises in the future.

One of them is an 8 year old boy that his uncle tells me suffers from Meyers-Briggs syndrome. He's a huge sports fan so I decided to pick him up some sporting goods. At mile post 100, ready for a break from the road I fired up the old google map in search of a sporting goods store, and Suri dutifully revealed to me this Dick's Sporting Goods in Sandusky, OH. It's a great store. Huge, well lit, very few dark corners. They have everything from athletic wear to Zamboni parts. The staff was almost creepily helpful. After checking out their skate gear, lacrosse sticks, bodybuilding equipment and sundry other offerings, I settled on a full set of football gear. The boy's uncle had told me that he really wanted to play pee-wee football but was not allowed because one of the major side effects of Meyers-Briggs syndrome is excessive crying. But there's no reason he can't dress up like his heroes of the gridiron! I picked him up a Riddell helmet, Cleveland Browns jersey, pads, pants, and a tiny little jock strap all for less than $200! On the way out I grabbed myself a new set of Adidas shower shoes, some Quench gum, and I was on my way. I'll be sure to check out Dick's in my hometown, but it's unlikely I'll have cause to revisit Dick's in Sandusky.

After a long drive from Canton, Ohio I found this location adjacent to Crocker Park. This area and the people shopping reminded me of an area in Orange County, California that I use to live in. Great Shopping, well dressed shoppers and exclusive findings. Well, that's what I experienced when I walked in Eye Candy and my mouth started drooling as the merchandise was sweet. Now the store isn't that spacious, but trust me you will instantly see glasses that you have never seen. To start I was warmly welcomed by two well dressed ladies, both wearing amazing glasses that just made their aesthetic pop. Then I saw whom I believed was a physician leaving with awesome glasses that gave character and pizzazz. I scoped out the pair of Cartier glasses that had my interest but decided to purchase a pair of Erker frames. Finally , I have another pair of frames for one of my outfits but, this time a pair that truly fits my face and pupillary distance. Thank you so much Francine for your human kindness and your professionalism. Now, here's what made this establishment exceptional. After being measured, I walked out with my single vision frames completed in approximately 15 minutes. I've never had that happen to me and in today's environment most optical location have eliminated their lab. So, if you want temptation, go here. If you want service, go here. They were confident their Zeiss lab -- in Kentucky or Germany -- could handle it, and they were absolutely right. I chose a pair of fantastic blue frames that really complement my face and style. For years my lenses have been thick, but Eye Candy was able to use 1.74 glass lenses that are the thinnest I've ever had. They took a bit longer since they were made in Germany, but the first-time quality was perfect. I'm over the moon with my new glasses. Outstanding service, expertise, and results. When I arrived at the store, there were 2 employees and no other customers, but they seemed inconvenienced to help with the return. Right away, the employee said I would have to ship the sunglasses back myself. I explained the receipt clearly said I could return in the store. Then the employee said I could return the sunglasses in the store, but they would mail me a check in 7 days. This isn't what I was told previously, and it seems very odd.
