Purchasing a new refrigerator was not on my list of things to do on the day I woke to find water on the kitchen floor. The repair technician inspected my refrigerator, diagnosed the issue, and advised me that it needed to be replaced. After hurriedly researching the best product for my needs, I decided on a cabinet depth stainless steel GE Profile refrigerator and found exactly the model I wanted could be found at Lowe's. I immediately drove to Saginaw where I met with Lowe's associate, Brendon in the appliance department whose extensive knowledge, courteous and pleasant attitude I greatly appreciated. Because it was a custom order I was told that delivery would take 10 days, which was completely understandable. Unfortunately problems began with delivery scheduling, followed with setup and installation. When the refrigerator did arrive it was left setting in my garage. Frustrated and stressed, I made several phone attempts before finally reaching a manager named Theo. Theo was incredible. He patiently listened to my concerns and immediately arranged for the setup and installation. To assure no further complications, Theo personally came to my home at the time the installation crew was scheduled to arrive and the crew did arrive as scheduled. They were incredibly pleasant, polite and careful, taking off the refrigerator doors and lifting the unit up a step to get it safety into the house. I am very thankful for their patience and hard work. Theo went above and beyond my expectations to assure my issues were addressed and the setup was completed. I cannot thank him enough for his time, patience and for simply demonstrating that he cared. While the process had some bumps, the outstanding customer service from Brendon and Theo made all the difference and their efforts have restored my confidence In Lowe's. read more

this was the second delivery from Lowes this month, and both times it could not have been better. 10+ for each delivery. Great communicatio, on time, drivers were effort and very helpful. And my cost of delivery for the identical items was 40% less than Home Depot (who I also like). Today's driver was courteous, unloaded and neatly stacked everything, and worked quickly. read more

My wife and I picked out bathroom floor tile and scheduled a measure. Got a message confirming and waited all morning. They never called or showed up for our appointment. We called the store and talked to a mgr Mgr. And he basically could care less. I will never do business with Lowe's again. read more

Surprised by how good our recent shopping trips to this Saginaw Lowe's have been.. Don't really know the reason this Lowe's has so many bad reviews, but our recent experiences shopping in this Lowe's have all turned out well.. At this point, since the two local Lowe's are actually closed, we would rather drive to the Saginaw Lowe's for all large home improvement updates and renovations, and diy fix its.. We recently shipped here for flooring, hardware, paint, tools, lighting, decor, and garden items, and everything was easily found, the layout made sense, the employees are actually quite knowledgeable and very helpful - seriously.. multiple employees asked us if we needed help finding things- we did not need to hunt for one to ask where things are.. The layout is good, the inventory was awesome, staff were helpful (and everywhere you looked, there was a staff member in the vicinity offering to help).. overall, a very nice Lowe's store. We prefer shopping in Lowe's instead of Home Depot or Menards, so a trip to the Saginaw Lowe's is one we do every few months.. Overall, this is one of the nicest Lowe's stores I've shopped in, and the trip to Saginaw is worth it- so far.. read more

I went to this store intending to buy a garage door opener. the girl working in this department (very short hair with lots of curls on top) was ridiculously inept. She did not know the answers to any questions, she could not effectively input info into the computer, she spelled everything wrong and asked me the same questions over and over. i told her to cancel my order, cancel my credit card application (of course she couldn't handle doing these things either). I subsequently went to Home Depot where they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They knew their product and I was happy and on my way in no time at all. all I got at Lowe's was frustration and bad information. I won't make this mistake again!! read more

Called about getting a fence put in from Lowe's , in June 2020. Guy came out for an estimate said he would email. Never got an email from . I called about a month later to figure out what was going on because I haven't heard anything. Guy said he would bring the estimate to my house. Never came, called again and said the same thing. Called again and once again said the same thing! He never showed to bring the fencing estimate. I did one last call left a voice-mail and never received a call back.! I live in Detroit but grew up in Saginaw. I just got a new apartment and I wanted to get some plants to make my place look nice. The store was not busy so I expected to be able to ask questions as to what the correct plants would be for my new place. The 2 employees definitely saw me but when a former employee walked in with his 2 dogs in his cart, they spent over 20 mins talking to him about how things were going. I was not asked if I needed help in anyway and on my way out not a single employee said "how was your visit", "have a nice day", or even "goodbye". I used to come there a lot when I lived in Saginaw but never again. I'll go to Menards from now on. read more

If I had to describe my experience with purchasing my window, it would be terrible. We first had Rick come out on 5/3 to take measurements and to get us a quote, but weren't quite ready to order it then. A little bit down the road on 7/9, we had Chris come out to measure the window again and we ordered it that day. We were told it should take about 2 weeks and we would have 24 month financing. Then on 7/11 I received an email from Carley, saying she was out Project Coordinator, and our window wouldn't be in until 8/14, but we would receive a call within from our installer within 2 business days. The 14th came and went, and without hearing anything I email Carley back on 8/19 and 8/20. She responded on 8/20 and informed me that she was no longer overseeing our project. She said Kenny was now over seeing our project, and per her request, I provided my phone number so she could have him call me. By this point, our first payment was due for our credit card, and come to find out, they only gave us 6 months financing and not 24 month financing. Thankfully, we had planned ahead for the window, and would be able to pay it off in that period. I heard back from the installer, Craig, on 8/30 letting me know he was running behind on his current project, but it looked like they were planning on getting it installed by 9/9. He called me back on 9/6 asking when he could come out to install it, and we had him come out on 9/7 to install it. Despite that the window was measured twice by two different people, the window that arrived was ordered 5 inches too small. Craig said that he wouldn't install a window that was that off in size, and they would get a new one ordered; which I assumed meant they were ordering a new one. I didn't hear anything until 9/19, when I got a call asking if I was happy with my window installation. Apparently as far as they were aware, the window was installed and everything had been completed with the project. The young woman I spoke to told me she would have Kenny call me on 9/20 between 9:30a-10:00a. I also informed her about the financing period issue, but seeing that it was already half paid off at this point, it wasn't a big deal. Kenny didn't call me until 10:20a, and our conversation was less than 2 minutes long as it seemed he didn't want to stay on the phone. He said he would contact call me back at 2:00p after his lunch break so he could have a chance to speak to the store. By 3:30p, I hadn't heard anything yet so I called him back. He didn't answer so I left a message asking him to call me back. I also called Craig back asking him if had heard anything, which he hadn't, but he would reach out to his contacts and would call me back by 9/23 with an update. I still haven't heard back from him at the time of writing this. Kenny sent a 1 paragraph follow up email on 9/21 using some terms I wasn't familiar, and letting me know they were going to fix the my 24 month financing issue. I replied on 9/23 asking him to explain the abbreviations he used that I was unfamiliar with, and what they were going to do to try and make things right. He replied on 9/25 explaining the abbreviations and to inform me that the window was reordered, but he need to contact the store to see where they were in getting the product ordered an in. So I'll admit I'm a bit confused on how it can be ordered, but he still needs to check to see where they were in the process of ordering it. I got a call back from Chris on 9/27 telling me the window was now reordered, and will be in about 2-3 weeks. So now it has taken 20 days to actually reorder the window from when I was told the window was going to be reordered by the installer. Chris told me he would call me back on 10/2 to follow up, so that he could have a chance to speak to the store manager to see what could be done to make this right. Chris never actually called me back. I ended up calling him on 10/4, seeing that I got another email from Kenny on our window. Kenny informed me the ETA for the window would be 11/1, which is a bit longer than the 2-3 weeks he told me previously. When I spoke to Chris, he said that he thought someone else at the store was going to call me back, not him, but he should've set an alarm in his phone to remind him to make sure someone had followed up with me, despite the fact that he said he would be the one to call me back. I told him that I felt that the ball had been dropped yet again, and his response was that he didn't think it had been dropped at all, even though he just agreed that someone should've called me and it wasn't right that no one did. I asked him to please have the store manager call me back. He said the manager was off today, but said the store manager would call me back 10/7. Well it is now 10/8 and I still haven't heard back from anyone. From what it seems, we will now waiting almost 17 weeks for a window I was told should take about 2 weeks. Hopefully someone will see this, and actually reach back out to make this right. read more

Was ignored by multiple employees when I went in to browse and make a carpet purchase. I was the only one in the department with two employees just talking to each other. I finally went to them for help and they pointed at a row of carpet. Didn't help at all. Had the same experience when I went in for blinds. It seems everyone disappears when a customer is around. Help is very sparse. I made my thousands of dollars worth of purchases at Home Depot and Menards instead. read more

I went to the store that day to get something comparible and asked the manager if I could have it for the same price as the one I ordered online (which was a $40 difference) and the manager rudely told me "No, my employees don't even get that discount".
