She stated you have to sign paperwork first. I stated I can come in now, before I do I need a delivery date. Cindy stated she would call back. Never called back. I called them. Cindy said let me get Paul. Paul was very nasty when he got on phone. He stated you need to come in and sign paperwork before I can tell you a date. Stated he can't run a business like this. All I needed was a delivery date. Seemed shady. Keep in mind I had already been approved for financing a week ago. I called two other good companies on the same tractor. Both gave me a date as they had them in stock. So I am going to a reputable dealer tomorrow. Aeschliman Equipment Whitmore Lake. Scott told me we can get it to you this Saturday if you come in tomorrow Wednesday 10/21/20. I guess they would like the $20K

Once it arrived in Austin, Texas, we had it installed but had problems rights from the beginning. The motor that comes with the kit is not appropriate for this kit. We had to get that fixed by installing a valve on the intake. Then the real problems began! The bowl started to be coated with rusty slush almost from the second day. The people at Blue Thumb told us to keep the fountain running 24 hrs a day and it would "clean up". After a few days we had the whole thing dismantled and power washed to remove the rust. When we restarted, the same happened again. At this point we called the supplier and asked them to, at a minimum, cover the cost of have the bowl powder-coated (approx. $500.). They told us that they know of the problem and are now offering a new model with powder-coated bowl. But they would only give us a paltry $150.00 compensation for the troubles! That we have refused to take. So far the labor and repair on the installation and clean up has cost us at least another $3K and we still do not have a fountain! This should serve as a cautionary tale for anyone ordering anything from the Blue Thumb. They don't appear to stand behind what they sell.

They came in the morning and were done in the evening. One day! And it is absolutely beautiful! We also have to add that we had great experiences over the years with D&W installing a great big patio which we are enjoying and another bathtub and shower in our additional bathroom. Again, they were installing in the morning and out by evening. We would definitely recommend them for any needs you may have.

After almost two weeks of not getting a return call, I called back today and I was told that no one would be coming out to the house to look at it because they only cover warranty work for the first 10 years. When I told them I was not looking for warranty work/freebie, but for someone from D&W to come out since they would know the product the best and could recommend what needed to be done, I was still told that no one from D&W would be coming out. What harm would it have been to come out, look at the problem and recommend a fix -- on their product?
