My shopping at this Lowes location is almost exclusively in their Garden Center. Their plethora of inventory in gardening plants/flowers/trees offers many choices. Today I stopped by for a glazed pot to replant my growing Fiddle Leaf. Disappointingly, their selection was almost all plastic planters/pots. Their glazed clay pots inventory was almost non existent. But, I will return!

I was excited to go someplace other than Home Depot and now I regret that decision. Lowe's was easy in and out, contrary to Home Depot. We had positive thoughts going in but that quickly diminished when we tried to look up the location of items online. This is a big place and small items were difficult to locate, even more so when the location listed online is not the same as in the store. The sheet rock tape was in the correct aisle but the bay listed didn't exist. Then the scissor jack....way off (see pictures). All of this would have been better if just one employee asked if we needed help. Nope. When I did see an employee he was snagged up quickly by another customer. Then we leave and notice there's not a lot of room to put our cart back. The cart stalls are all full. All of the stalls. Lowe's, please. Get it together. We love the location but don't make it so difficult for us they we are forced to go back to Home Depot.

Mr Appliance came the next day in the morning. They ordered parts needed, and returned the next morning to make the repairs. Amazing customer service, polite, professional, good follow up. Shannon, your response completely ignores the primary reason I called for service. The door flap was only one part of the problem. From the very beginning, I made it clear that the ice maker and water dispenser were not working. Your technician, Daniel, and your company both stated those issues would not function unless the door flap sealed properly. I relied on that guidance. Attempting to rewrite the narrative is unprofessional and dishonest. I paid for the door flap repair without issue. It was replaced, and it does seal. However, the ice maker and water dispenser--the original issues I called about--remain completely unresolved. Do not tell me I did not ask for 4 issues to be resolved when I first contacted you. After three service visits, your company has still failed to fix the problem. Instead, I've been left with a refrigerator full of visible tape, patchwork, and what can only be described as unprofessional "band-aid" fixes. This is not acceptable by any reasonable standard of appliance repair. Even more concerning, I have written text messages from your own technician admitting they do not know how to fix the issue or even why it was continuing to happen. I was told to put it in the garage and buy a new one to avoid spending more money with your company! And yes, be assured I will be posting those messages on Yelp, Google, the BBB and all social media platforms. Yet I was still charged again on a follow-up visit for work that was never completed successfully in the first place. So again, do not rewrite history to avoid accountability for ineptness and a failure to understand how to properly fix appliance issues. If you don't have trained technicians or specialize in a brand, don't send them to customers homes. People want to trust in you and now see what they can't. By the third visit, your team resorted to placing silver tape throughout the interior and filter area of my refrigerator. You have now caused more issues by doing this and I absolutely intend to hold your company accountable. That is not a repair--it's negligence. At this point, this is no longer just about poor service. This reflects a pattern of incompetence, misrepresentation, and improper billing. You charged for a solution you did not deliver, failed repeatedly to diagnose the issue, and left my appliance in an unacceptable condition. And your technician agreed and specifically stated he did not know why it was happening, yet continued to come back with a second technician who also had no idea what to do so they slapped some tape all throughout the inside and called it a day. Are you serious? Shame on you. You've had multiple opportunities to correct this and chose not to. I will continue to publicly document this experience, including technician statements and text and photos, so others are fully aware of how your company operates. Every review site, all of social media and the BBB. We treat people with trust and respect and what you have done to my family is disgusting. You should seriously reconsider how you handle situations like this, because this level of service is indefensible. But you go ahead and keep the money "for now", since that is what matters most to you. Let's see if it is worth it when I am finished with making sure this experience with all of the photos and text messages from your of technicians back up exactly what I am saying. Disgusting and shameful.

My wife (Jo) and I had been considering renovating our kitchen and the timing seemed perfect during the COVID shutdowns when we thought we had selected the right vendor to do the job. We decided to meet with KDS who primarily does cabinetry work as they wanted to expand their business into doing full renovations. We met with John and Shawn Thompson at the KDS showroom and then at our house with their staff to discuss the scope of the project. This was a pretty big job with the demolishing of our old kitchen, removing the old tile floors and putting new ones down (in three rooms beside the kitchen), a adding number of new; appliances, cabinets, counter tops, farmers sink, wall tiling, with the corresponding electrical, plumbing, dry wall, interior painting and HVAC work to make it all happen! Once we met with the team we were reassured that they had dependable contractors they had used and would be using them for the project. We decided as well to pay for the services of Shawn (John's wife) as the project manager (she also did interior design as well!) to ensure that we would have scheduling and accountability for the work. Shaw developed the schedule and John worked up the cost of the complete project. We were given a 4-6 week projection for the work, but Shawn said she was going to target for three and half weeks! I have extensive project management experience and it looked tight with everything having to go right to do that (which is normally not the case...), but knowing that we agreed on the project with a last minute change being added by us when we decided to move a small wall to enlarge a closet as part of the project (not usually a good idea to make last minute changes...). They hit the ground running with a well coordinated team that worked well together. We had a functioning fully renovated kitchen in FOUR weeks with a larger pantry closet, except for some punch list items that took a little while longer to knock out. The results were spectacular and we are thrilled with the quality of their work and the timeless of the project! We full heartily recommend Kitchen Design Solutions as the attached pictures show the quality of their work!
