Once you've finished with Kroger, Walmart, your health insurance company and your cel phone provider, this place is an oasis. Big ain't always best. Somebody in the store will most likely have a solution for you (yes, they have people on the floor to help.) We are new to the area and hubby was working on an epoxy garage floor but wanted to do it himself . Unfortunately the kit he bought didn't have enough paint to cover the floor. So we went on line and this was the closest location that had the color in stock. Once we arrived we came to find out that the manufacturer renamed the color but the one they had would work to finish the project. After we checked out we learned that they have the most amazing artwork on their walls for sale. So the sales associate went into action to take them off the walls for us so we could purchase them. Needless to say the service here is literally out of this world as three associates assisted us to our vehicle. The pricing is also very reasonable. Their garden shop has a beautiful selection of flowers. As well as the clothing and shoes are great. Got the most comfortable slippers for $10. Our next visit they had a barbecue outside for charity. You pay at the register and we had the most delicious hamburgers and hotdog. Since it was Memorial Day weekend they were giving out small American Flags as well. What a wonderful experience. This is our favorite Ace Hardware the sales associates and inventory make this location exceptional. They have us as customers for life! read more

Forget the big box stores, this is the place. This store has the tools and supplies to get me through my start at woodworking. Prices are fair and advice is free. Folks there actually take an interest in what they are doing. Big, big difference in locally owned business. Cashiers are actually cheerful. read more

This is an everything store. They are knowledgeable about most parts and equipment. I brought in a garage sale reciprocal saw that I brought for $3.00. They had multiple people look at it and went through several repair manuals on line. The hole and set screw for the blade were shot. No way to replace them. The motor was great. I made up my mind to buy a new saw here. Unfortunately the big box store had a killer offer on 2 free batteries with the saw. I did come back and do Christmas shopping here. Great novelty items, grill section, hardware, garden choices. This is my goto everything store. Personal service is excellent. I'm a regular now. read more

The manager of the store is loud and rude. His response, " I talk loud!" He says "no exchange of merchandise if the same merchandise has a lower price a week later." I ask, is it in writing? I absolutely love this place. Everyone here is so friendly, eager to help and even take you to what you are looking for. Need price check they go prong the device to do it right there in front of you. I never once had a bad service here. When I feel the need of small town atmosphere then I go here. The small gift shop here is so entertaining. The products there is so funny and priced very well. Very affordable pricing and quality. This was one of my "Go To" stops for both business and personal....HOWEVER the manager BRIAN is as disrespectful as they come.I was told over the phone to bring in my exit signs to assure I was purchasing the right cords for my business.I stopper at the cashier to make note of the reason I had to bag and was told to leave my belongings at the front very rudely I asked for a manager and went straight to Brian.I told him the same thing he said GET OUT and shared fake concerns of theft then told me to get out of the store...I asked for corporates number he says 1800 ACE and figure it out.I WAS LITERALLY TOLD TI BRING THE SIGNS IN. Very nice store, this is the largest best stocked Ace Hardware I've ever seen. Having moved from OH we had to leave our grill tank there. Since we'll be buying a brand new tank, we love that they fill propane tanks. Living in the Berwick area, this store is very convenient. read more

Horrible experience very unprofessional staff I felt like a criminal instead of a customer as soon as I walked in the door. I purchased a Stihl chainsaw the very next day I brought it back to the store because I decided to upgrade to a larger more expensive chainsaw and wanted to exchange it and pay the difference for the new larger saw which immediately caused Mass confusion they needed a sales rep to unlock the saw from the display the cashier had to stay on board as security from what I could tell so they needed to call for another cashier to handle the register which visibly caused unwelcome disruption of their store at which point I requested they just refund my money from the original purchase very unprofessional to take an upsell and turn it into a complete disaster read more

This place is awesome! After having keys made at three other home improvement stores that didn't work, we took a chance at the new Ace Hardware in Berwick. The keys were made as we shopped around and, upon testing them later, they all work! What a concept! Staff was very friendly and helpful. So many items to peruse; everything you need for your home, as well as gift ideas and gardening needs. Ample parking and reasonable prices. This is a great addition to the area. read more

We came to the store on Sat. To browse bird food and get supplies to I stall air conditioner. A sales person aggressively followed my husband and stood over him while he was looking for installation items. He left the store, sat in truck to wait on me and was followed out. They lost a sale because of this. I will go to a big box store. read more
