I would have given 0 stars if available. I have never dealt with such incompetence in my life, starting with the sales rep that came to my home all the way up to the store manager. Back in the beginning of February, I ordered six interior doors and an exterior door. The doors were installed on February 26-27. At that time it was determined the linen closet door was an "in swing" rather than an "out swing". The store was made aware of this, by the installer, on February 26. My salesperson was also made aware. As of April 26th, I still do not have the door. I have spoken to several people including the store manager and assistant manager as well as the installation company; I am so frustrated at this point. This was a very large and expensive purchase and I should not have been the one running after people to get this problem solved. My salesperson was aware of this issue from the get go and should have been on this every single day until the issue was resolved. I will never make another purchase from Lowe's again. We were in need of countertops after a Thanksgiving flood in our kitchen. An associate at Lowe's on Colorado Street in Kennewick, WA. walked us to where we needed to go and Michelle greeted us with a smile. She told us they had nothing in stock but she would be able to order what we needed. She offered to bring their pictures up on her computer and also to print many up for us so we could select. She asked us questions to determine our needs and preferences. This was our first stop, so we thanked her and took the pictures with us. If I could give them a zero I would. Went Into this store last night 5/22/24, looking for 2 bolts, standard size of 7/16". After 5 minutes of walking the isle back and forth to realize the store does not have ANY 7/16" bolts, or even a spot for them. They completely left the size out, I have a picture for proof that I will post. I ended up going down a size and go to checkout. Zero cashiers anymore other than customer service registers. So I go to the customer service desk to buy my 2 bolts. First emloyee I see, I say to him "hey, you guys are missing an entire size bolt. He proceeds to grab my bag of 2 bolts, moves it to another register, says something to the cashier, then turns and walks away!!!! I asked the cashier his name, Anthony, apparently is a store manager. Considering how many THOUSANDS of dollars we have spent there, you would think there would be a slight amount of curtosey. We were not only upgrading our main appliance, but our current refrigerator was not working, and thus a hardship to my family and I. I kindly asked them to make an exception under our circumstances to speed up the deliver or order a more timely refrigerator, and gracefully obliged. They sped up the refrigerator date, so now, my mother and I have not only a NEW! Refrigerator, but a reliable resources in Lowes. Kennewick Store: I was looking for a specific kind of space heater for indoor bedrooms. After Home and Garden was called to meet me at the aisle where they were located, I waited 15 min and no one showed. Requested again and the guy said he was with a customer so I asked for a manager to meet me because my time was short. Note: the middle of weekday and the store was not busy in the least. I waited another 15 minutes and no one showed. On my way out the door I asked for the store manager and waited another 10 minutes for him to arrive. He apologized (appreciated but did nothing to fix the situation). He offered to go to the aisle now but by then I was done with Lowe's. Bright side: I was waiting so long I was able to call Ranch & Home across the street to see if they had what I needed. Yep. Worst delivery ever from a Lowe's. They first failed to recognize that they needed to take the old refrigerator away and then got grease marks on the new refrigerator when placing it in the house. When I pointed it out they told me clean it...instead offering to clean it themselves for their screw up. Fridge set up in the past from Lowe's included removal of tape and form and brief overview of the refrigerator this not performed and I just spent the last hour removing all the tape, foam, and plastic. Usually great service, in fact their lumber tons better than competitors. I make the drive passing other home improvement stores but recently was there to get some paint. No one manned the paint counter so I pushed the help button. I heard the overhead at least three times saying assistance was needed in paint. After literally 20 minutes I flagged a manager and they said the paint person was at lunch but they didn't have anyone to cover. She grabbed an employee who wasn't real familiar with the paint computers but they got it, at 37 minutes I got the paint I wanted. A number of time the employee kept having computer problems but said she was overriding the program and got the color I needed. Pretty frustrating, bought a couple other things and left, total time was almost an hour. Yes, saw the sign "Help wanted" but better scheduling is needed. read more

Do I have to give them 1 star?! I called the Lowes in Pasco about getting a garage door opener and having it installed through them, after being transferred 3 times I finally get someone saying all I have to do is come in and purchase it and they will schedule to have it installed, OK fine sounds easy enough. I get to Lowes and find one I like and look for someone in the doors section to make sure it's a good choice and to setup an install for it. I get the generic reading off the box comments about what it does but nothing outstanding. "ok I'll take it, is there any other parts I need" he proceeds to grab a long box that says chain on it, funny thing is it's a belt drive opener. I think ok, maybe it's a chain part of some sort. We go to the desk and the guy gets on the computer and doesn't seem to know what he is doing and has this look of dumbfoundedness on his face. I then bring to his attention the box he grabbed says chain when it's a belt drive, does that matter. "oh I was looking for that and didn't see it", he grabs the right one. Long story short 15 minutes later and 2 other associates and a final phone call to someone on how to setup and install end up being that they don't even have an installer at this point, he didn't renew his license so they don't know when they will have on. Oh nice thanks for wasting my time. I then asked if the Kennewick one is the same as them or different, he tells me they are different. So I go there and find out, nope it's the same, no installer here as well. Guess I'll start taking my business to Home Depot who knows their stuff and has an installer. read more

I have been here before many times but I was not impressed with their customer service. If you have a question you seemed to not find anyone to help you. So I always go Home Depot instead. But everything changed 3 months ago. I was worried that I will not be helped again so I called the customer service first and asked if I can fax them my list and if they can priced it. They called me the day after and faxed me back the qioute, not only I got the items quick I got 3% OFF and 6 months no interest on everything I bought. Euldis was very helpful and for the past months that I was needing something they have been very helpful. One time they made a mistake on my orders and the Manager gave me 10% OFF. I've been doing a lot of home repairs and going to Lowes about every other day because it's the closest hardware store to my house. They've been really good about returning items that we didn't need or wore out after the first day but their customer service isn't that great. Most everyone will just point you in the right direction or guess at what isle number the product is on. Lowe's get's an added start because they offer a 10% military veteran discount. Just bring your DD214 and show it to the checker. TheHome Depot only offers a discount to Active duty military. Thank you Lowe's for showing Vets a little love. read more

My mother and I just loaded 92inch 2x4, 62 of them. It took us two and a half hours cause no one would help us. When we finally did find someone to help, he was all rude saying that there was other people in line before us... even though we were there first. Then I asked another guy, who said he saw us when he was taking his lunch break. He stood around for 5 minutes, then started to come over, but he then saw his friends and helped them first. This may be surprising if you have read the other reviews, but I've had really good luck here. I agree that some employees are more helpful than others, but I have encountered more of the helpful kind. Recently bought a washer/dryer set with them. Dave in appliances was SO, SO, SO friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure we got the best deal possible and seemed genuinely interested in doing so. He set us up with next-day delivery (they deliver on Sundays, btw). I read the reviews about damaged products being delivered, so I asked him what they'd do to rectify the situation if that should occur. He assured me they would either deliver a new product or give 10% off, depending on what I wanted. That was good enough for me. The guys who delivered our new set surprised us. The were scheduled for afternoon and showed up at 12:30. We hadn't moved the old set out, but they moved it out for us- no problem. They set up the new set like pros and moved it into the house without any damage occuring to the product or our house. He then tested the washer and explained the details of operating and caring for the machines. They were out in less than an hour. I've also had good luck in the garden center, paint center, and lumber. read more

I was under the assumption that Lowes gave vets a 10 percent discount on purchases in the store. LOOK OUT because there is only a small portion of items that they will give a VET a discount on. In the past I always try to shop at Home Depot because they always discounts the total purchases 10% . Lowes on the other hand will always have an excuse why the items are not discounted and usually it works out to be 1% of the total purchase if that. Lied to me on getting discounts for the problems that they generated. Delivered 4 out of 5 items damaged or the wrong product, and had to deal with delays of weeks on all items. We had to rearrange our schedule twice to get a ceiling fan installed and they still haven't arrived. They won't get a third time. I had to come to the Pasco location because the Kennewick one was out of the irrigation supplies I needed. One thing I found out for sure was I'll be coming back to the Pasco Lowes if I ever need any more irrigation parts or supplies. The guy who worked there was extremely knowledgeable on irrigation and had everything completely explained to me in no time at all, and I was able to come home and install what I had just bought very easily. I'm a fan of Lowes anyway because of their support of military and veterans (10% discount!), but this was just a little icing on the cake. read more
