Lowes installed this Stainmaster floor in my home. The installation is unprofessional and unacceptable. They used white silicone bathtub caulk to fill visible gaps in six places around the doorframes. I spent over two days cleaning up their mess and using colored wood filler to fill the gaps. Lowes refused any credit on the labor for this unacceptable installation. After this experience I will never shop at Lowes again. read more

I've always wanted to get a water softener and usually shop at Home Depot. But when my friend told me he had installed a water softener himself and would help me with customizing the pipes. I ended getting the same softener from Lowe's with their exclusive pricing online. I showed the cashier the price from the Lowe's website but was not honoring it. So he called his supervisor and I showed her that it was from their website and she went ahead and did an override. From $597 to $477, a great deal considering the load and function on the softener. I also appreciate how there were military veterans that were employed and eager to answer questions. One of the employee was so awesome, she made sure that I would get help to put the 200lb purchase into the SUV. Now that's great service. I didn't even have to ask. If you're considering doors/windows from Lowes, I'd advise against it. After an in home consultation in July 2021, I ordered 2 custom doors and one window. Soon after, one of the doors was cancelled because Lowes couldn't order it from the manufacturer. 7 months later, the 2nd door order never made it to the manufacturer. Total operational failure on Lowes part. I wasn't kept informed, and had to make continual calls to track progress. Consultant and operation is amateur at best. Good riddance. read more

I'll try to keep this review as short as possible but I have a feeling it will be long. We ordered a new washer and dryer for our elderly parents from Lowe's online. The order was routed through the Papillion store because they had the units in stock. When ordering from the Lowe's website, it did not give us an option to pick out our delivery date/time etc. It also didn't give us the option to choose to have the old machines hauled away. So, my wife calls the store and gets transferred to several people and finally transferred to Patty. She was very helpful and told us when to expect the delivery. She said she would find out about the haul off of our old machines as well and call us back. Patty called back the next day and verified the delivery date and that the old machines would in fact be hauled away. She went out of her way to help us! Excellent customer service on her part! So delivery day comes and at about 3:00 pm, still haven't heard anything. No calls, emails, etc. We are thinking that it's not going to happen today since no one has called. My wife again calls the store and this time talks to Becky, the assistant manager of this location. Becky checks and says we are on schedule for delivery and she doesn't know why no one called. They are supposed to call a day before but since it is a weekend day, Lowe's contracts out to a 3rd party for appliance delivery. Finally around 5:30 or so, this contract company shows up. The parents explain to them that they can't come in the front door since there are steps, and furniture would be in the way. The best way is to go around back down the alley to the walk out patio. It would be so much easier. Straight shot to the utility room. The delivery company refuses to drive around to the back and makes our elderly parents move and re-arrange furniture so that they can get these appliances in through the front door across the living room, down the hall, etc. Then they refuse to haul away the old appliances saying that it's not on their work order. My wife calls Lowe's back again and tells Becky and she talks to them on the telephone and they apparently told her they weren't taking them! So there they sit. Lowe's was good enough to send their own crew out to pick up the old washer and dryer but just the frustration dealing with this contract delivery company is enough to make you want to shop elsewhere. Why would Lowe's hire a company like this? It's very concerning. In the end everything worked out but it could have gone so much smoother. read more

I could not be more happy and thrilled with the service I got at Lowes on Friday, March 29th. After getting the run around at one of the other big home improvement stores, I walked into Lowes and asked at customer service if they installed garbage disposals and how much it would cost. He called the plumbing department and knew in less than 5 minutes how much it would ccost. I went back at found a fun, knowledgeable person to answer my questions about the garbage disposals they had on hand, and another employee, again very knowledgeable and friendly, went with me to the register to get the purchase completed. I received a call to schedule installation that evening and we agreed on 3 PM the next day. Installer was a clean cut, friendly guy, very experienced with all types of plumbing configurations. In 24 hours after I first walked into Lowes, I had my new garbage disposal installed. A boring, not very fun purchase but all three employees were helpful and friendly, and the installer was also top notch. read more

This Lowe's was my home away from home for a good 2-3 years of my life as I renovated my house. You know you go to Lowe's too much when employees ask you if you are back again...in their defense, I think I'd been there three times that day. I'm sitting here laughing about James S complaining associates hounding him and asking him if needs help finding things too often. Just a recommendation...go to Home Depot, and you won't have that issue--though good luck finding an associate, let alone one that will help you out. If that doesn't work, the Lowe's and Home Depot here in California will ensure that you never have any issue with that either...if you find an employee, they will probably be annoyed that you are interrupting their discussion about who won the game last night. Serously, it's not that hard to say, "No, thank you." It's three words. Think you will survive. :-) As you can tell, this Lowe's has great customer service, and they are really helpful. Ordered online a dishwasher from Lowes. I paid for delivery and haul away. When the delivery guys showed up, carrying my new dishwasher to my frontdoor, I asked them to put masks on due to my 91 year old father. The guy shook his head no he did not have a mask. He walked back to his truck, got in and left without any if the service I paid for!!!! To add to this, he and the driver drove to the end of our street to turn around. I tried to stop the truck as it passed by my house only for these two" thugs" to ignore me and speed past!!!! This is Lowes delivery service in Papillion!!!! I have no way of moving this new dishwasher and cables inside and off my front porch????? I strongly advice anyone to shop at Home depot, Menards, Ace, anywhere but Lowes. This is pathetic on so many levels. We are in a pandemic!!! Wear a damn mask when seeing customers!!! We will see how long it takes for Lowes to remedy this and the delivery service to fire these 2 thugs!!!! 3 hours later, the store tried to remedy this situation by sending a very professional sales manager who is able to do deliveries. He brought it up the 10 stairs to our kitchen. I looked at the new dishwasher after he took it out of the box into find it was White and not Stainless as ordered?? So picking the order at Lowes was done wrong, than thug delivery guys who were not interested in doing their job. Now I am waiting for a re-delivery!! I moved to Papillion July 2019. I have purchased and had delivered a washer and dryer, snow blower, and riding lawn mower all with great service inside the store and from the store personnel. I have probably been there twice a month picking up miscellaneous stuff and have always had good or better service. Lowe's also gives a 10% discount for any military experience! A bonus for me is they are sensitive to the Covid issue and presently offer delivery to your vehicle on your online orders, require employees to wear masks, installed plastic partitions at checkout and offer email receipts. They just seem to think of everything. A much better experience than shopping at Home Depot! read more

Special ordered two barn doors off their website and had them shipped to the store,received an email that they were in so when I went to pick them up they could not find them and said they would call when they found them,this caused me to loose the contractor I had to do the install.So they finally called a week later saying the doors had just come in but when I picked them up they had a received date on the box from the previous week.Contacted them about installation, guy came out and measured and we were given a quote a few days later.When we went to sign the contract the quote almost doubled!!! Knowledgeable & courteous. They shut off the water, disconnected the old fridge, took it away, brought in and completely set up the new fridge down to ensuring the doors were perfectly level. I am in the middle of a home renovation and I visit this Lowe's between 2-3 times a week and I have never been disappointed. The employees are so helpful and knowledgeable, providing me with many helpful tips with my home renovation (unlike other comparable stores in the area). There is always an employee right around the corner so if I need help, they are easy to find. Overall, very pleased with this Lowe's! Also, they offer a military discount year round! read more

Lowe's is a great company but they use contractors such as kellerinteriors.com who makes excuses for not meeting their commitments. I have taken three days off work to facilitate installing flooring in my home. Keller committed to be at my home today between 8-10 am when they didn't show or call I attempted to call Keller to no avail. Lowe's has no control other than to fire that contractor. Home Depot's installers work for Home Depot. Lowe's should do the same thing. Anyway, I would stay away fro Keller Interiors. read more

I'm not sure I will be returning to this particular Lowes after a recent experience. I stopped by on my very brief lunch break to grab a few things. It should've been a quick in and out visit. I grabbed my stuff and went to the pro desk since I'm a pro with them. There was a person in front of me and only one cashier at the time. Not a big deal. But then I notice the cashier isn't looking at the person in front of me. She was using her phone. I have no idea how long the other guy had been there before I even got there. In the 15 seconds I stood there realizing what was going on, she didn't look up once. Finally the guy before me got her attention but it was ridiculous. So she gets through the guy and it's my turn. As I'm walking up I saw her peak at her phone, again. I couldn't believe it. She seemed distracted and just didn't seem plea to be there. Sort of a younger lady. It was just a frustrating experience and I've never received such treatment at one of your stores. read more

We ordered flooring that came it but the had to send some back cuz it was bent in some way so they send it back witch they should have put a rush on it but no they didn't so we had to wait twice as long so now we have waited almost a month for the right stuff and now it's in but ones that unloaded the truck went home and apparently no one else there knows how to go get it out of the truck. I or none of my family will ever order anything from lows again!!! I won't even step foot in that store ever!! read more

Never trusting again, lied to several times, insulted, and no confidence ever again! If you do decide to go with Lowe's request references and reviews from their contractors! Long story short, I signed a contract for a new deck in Nov 2020, I live in Nebraska so until spring is when it would be done, I was told I was 3rd or 4th in line. I received no call until I started calling in June 2021. Excuses started, only half order was received, original contractor dropped, had to find a new contractor. All the whole until July 4 they delivered the materials, that I had to beg and plead when was my deck going to start. Jason and Sons Decking took from July 17 to Aug 11 to be done, a project that should only be up to 5 day build. Then find out NO PERMIT was ever purchased another deck company had to take over Ace Decking , found out 10% was out of code, a new permit had to be purchased. I had to call the store, got to the store, talk to the manager's , district manager Mark Hodges to get anything done, finally in late October my deck is done. After so many escalation, hours on the phone, talking to corporate feedback, they only want to offer 10%, completely insulting. I purchased a grill on a Friday and was told there was free assembly and I could get it the following Monday. When I called to check, I was told Wednesday. Check again and it has been pushed out a week (along with the same model for an ever growing number of other suckers) and so my plans to grill out for family on Labor Day are ruined. Their solution to me was to go across town to another Lowes to buy it off sale and they will credit back the sale price. So, lose $20 as a side benefit? Thanks Papillion Lowes! Well, fool me once. I did not appreciate the lie, the lack of communication, and the snide solution offered. Maybe other Lowes serve their customers and keep their promises, but this one blew it. I went to the paint dept looking for spray deglosser and couldn't find it so I decided to ask for help since no one offered. I went to the paint counter and asked the heavy set guy there if they have A spray deglosser and he said they didn't carry any...he then pointed in the direction of other deglossers. I headed over there and found that they do carry spray deglosser!! I took the spray deglosser and a wipe on one over to him to make sure they did the same thing and all he said was..."I guess we do carry a spray one". This is the worst customer service....the guy was lazy and has no knowledge of what they carry! I was soooo frustrated! Next time, I'll head to Home Depot! read more

I have to say that usually Lowe's customer service is fantastic but lately it seems to be seriously lacking. Purchased carpet thru Lowe's two and a half years ago and its already showing signs of unusual wear. Contacted Lowe's in regards to the warranty and it literally took well over a month for someone to come inspect the carpet. Also ordered a dishwasher to be delivered. They delivered earlier than promised but that is it. They brought the new dishwasher in and simply left it in the middle of our living room without removing it from the crate it came in. They did haul the old dishwasher away though. Next I brought in some glass mosaic tile that I needed cut. The first tile I needed cut they did so no questions asked. The second time I brought tile in for cutting I was given attitude and informed that Lowe's does not cut tile purchased elsewhere. I've called Lowe's several times to speak to the store manager but only assistant managers are available. I'm very disappointed since I generally use Lowe's for all of my home improvement needs. read more

Worst customer service experience ever!! Lowes allows dogs/pets in their store (not service dogs). But they need to be hiring someone to clean up after them. Stepped in a large pile of dog crap while shopping. A customer service rep said she would get someone over to help me clean my shoes. After waiting 7 minutes for someone (the customer service rep never helped me, she just stood and watched me waiting for help), I finally walked out. When I called the manager, he did not apologize for what happened and actually blamed me for leaving the store before he had a chance to "get to me". This is the place to go for anything construction/home improvement. I used to go to Menards because they're about 15 percent cheaper in terms of pricing. I decided to stop going to Menards and begin going to Lowes Papillion because A) Lowes doesn't play mind numbing, soul crushing redneck music at full blast, which is a serious consideration when you're trying to calculate exactly how much sq.foot of tile, carpet, base trim, etc you need. B)Lowes stocks quality products, you may pay a bit more but it's worth it not having to make repeated item returns. C) Lowes in Papillion is not crowded with a million shoppers like Menards always seems to be. Again, I'm willing to pay a lil' more to shop in a peaceful enviroment surrounded by quality products. The ONE thing Menard's has over Lowes is their finish carpentry department, which I do still use. Solid Cherry crown molding and wainscot for example, you just won't find at Lowes unfortunately. read more

I am currently having Lowes install a vinyl fence. They promised me multiple times it would be finished in two days. (After supplies came in.) Personell from Lowes and the contractors they hired continually were dishonest to me. I started communications with them in March. It is now May 29th and the fence still isn't completed. The contractors would show up and work for a couple hours and then not show up for days on end. Finally over a month later the fence is ALMOST completed. The contractor told me he would be back the next day to finish the install. Two more days went by after that. I called Lowes up and they said he didn't have a needed 1 inch piece. They said they had it in stock and all the contractor had to do was come pick it up. (They also made it seem like it was the contractors fault because he didn't come pick up the piece.) A couple more days go by.. I call Lowes again - They said OH we had to order the piece. They said they would put the order in Monday. (It was friday) I told them Monday was Memorial Day. They said oh ok we will put it in Tuesday then. The estimated delivery time for the 1 inch endcap is June 5th. I'm fairly certain it will take a few more days after that for them to finish. (Will update later) Avoid this place like the plague. They are dishonest as hell. It's not even that it was a lack of communication. They went out of their way to tell me stories to tide me over until the next time i called. It is in your best interest to have any other company handle a fence install. read more

I had someone come measure a door for me on June 10. It is now July 27th, and while they did TRY to install the door - the door was shipped faulty from the factory. They won't order another door until the factory warranty rep can come look at it for himself... IN TWO WEEKS! from there, they need to RE-ORDER the door, wait for it to come in and then schedule another installation day. Yet another day I would need to take off of work. Everybody is busy pointing fingers at everybody else but nobody is helping/paying attention to the guy who not only spent his money, but now can't use the front door of his house because the installation guys took it with them and basically boarded up my front entrance with a door that won't open/close. read more
