I recently stopped in for the Fall Fest mostly to see the Spongebob themed fall experience. Well, I left with more than just photos of my kids. This places has everything!! from bulbs, to mums, to coffee mugs, small furniture and more. You'd have to see all the fun for yourself, but I did peruse the pricing and was shocked to see the plants were actually affordable, which isn't always the case at some of these larger nurseries. The staff was also so incredibly kind, we spoke to a lot of staff as we wandered around the grounds, and everyone here loved their job you could tell! I really appreciate what they do with their events programs as it definitely caught my eyes and got me in the door. We will be back for the winter events this year.

The location allows for so much knowledge and that gets shared with local schools where the kids may see more guns than plants. This spot provides a great respite from those spots. From foraging salads, mushrooms and saving seeds to offering started plants and infinite wisdom, this is the spot. They are Non Profit so when you come by, please drop a few buck their way. In every good way! My sister brought me here a few years ago and I've been able to frequent it more often lately. The Garden Gallery is a mix of a plant store fit with a greenhouse out back with the knowledge of the ever magical Michelle, an art store, from local artists in the area, and classroom, they also offer different plant and art classes for children and adults! The owner Michelle is magic. My sister and I attended a plant luncheon where we had lunch and discussed all of the new plants that were coming in last spring. She gave us a folder with helpful information on different flowers and plants, a packet of seeds, and gave us the option to order any at the end of the class. It was informative and fun! Michelle's daughter Anna is magic too. She offers art classes in the evenings and weekends for any one who wants to do something fun and learn. My nephew is a frequent student and enjoys coming here to tap into his creative side. Most recently, my sister and I attended a winter green arrangement class. It was definitely worth it and I'd sign up again next year too! We got to choose either an indoor or outdoor pot, greenery, and decorations to go with it! My snowman is an outdoor arrangement and my sister's reindeer is an indoor arrangement. Not only are their classes magical but just walking into the house is walking into a magical space. There's so many beautiful and unique items that doing a few loops will ensure you saw almost everything. I love that they support other local artists and farms by carrying their items here. I've purchased tea, coffee, handmade holiday headbands, handmade art work. There's something special for everyone. I have used their glass replacement service (go to back door in alley) a couple of times--economical and accurate. I've gone in with a couple screws that I needed replacements for and they helped me find them and sold them in the small quantity I needed. Finally, I love, love the old time hardware store atmosphere, slightly creaky oak floor, and the fact that they have been in business for multiple generations. It's exactly the kind of business we should be supporting, IMHO.
