The store is one of the worst. They never have anything in stock and their quality of lumber is the worst. They can't even keep seasonal items on the shelf, but they'll have plenty of it out of season. This store should just close down and put a Home Depot here. read more

So here's the story. I ordered a fridge from lowes beginning of the month. They 1st day it was to be delivered it was raining, hard at times. Delivery guys said they were at the house and knocked on the doors, we do have doorbells. This was the first lie. I also have security cameras everywhere, and guess what, not one single person was on video that day, none! I also have 5 dogs that would have gone nuts! My son was also sitting right at the front door! 2nd delivery attempt, the guys in the truck said there was a wire across the driveway that was too low for their truck. Now keep in mind I had a washer dryer combo delivered about 2 month ago by lowes. They parked at the bottom of the driveway and handtrucked it up to the house. So I would just call them lazy and not wanting to do their job because they had to handtruck it up the driveway. Keep in mind that the washer dryer combo was twice the weight as the fridge. OK, 3rd delivery attempt, get an email from lowes saying it would be a small truck delivery. They show up, in the exact same truck as the day before and can't make the delivery! I also contacted customer service the 1st day and was told a supervisor would call, never happened. The 2nd day a executive customer service rep did call, but had nothing but excuses and more lies! So I implore all to never ever buy anything from lowes, ever! read more

We love that Lowe's are pet friendly! Multiple associates greeted my dog and I and offered assistance. The aisles are wide and everything was amply stocked. We were looking for end-of-summer sales or Fall decor and there wasn't much of either - we'll look again! read more

What a horrible experience! Palmyra, PA. I bought a refrigerator and stove from these people and everything CONTINUES to be wrong and damaged. Now I'm being told I have to file a claim, to be reimbursed for my groceries and missing fridge. That's right...they were supposed to relocate the fridge, 2-yrs old, to the basement and they took off with it! Either way, they sold me a new fridge, delivered a broken used fridge, never leveled my stove and left a mess in my house. There are more terrible details, but I'm tired of typing. We have been good customers of Lowes for years. It surprised us that when our water heater was scheduled to be delivered today, they goofed up. I called after four hours and they said it wasn't coming until the end of the month. We would have sat here for 12 hours if I hadn't called. No help available when needed in any area. Last weekend I noticed a ceiling fan on display hanging from the ceiling. I really liked it, but didn't see a price. After scouring the shelves for about a half hour, I finally tracked down an employee to inquire about said fan. He said that is discontinued and no longer in stock, which is why it doesn't have a tag on it. I guess that's my fault for not knowing their store policy and wasting my day looking for it. I asked him if I could purchase the floor model, as is the case often, but was denied that option. Ok, I get it. But, why the heck didn't anyone take the darn thing down to avoid aggravating people like me who wander around the aisles like an idiot looking for something that isn't there? I just hate this store in general as there is never any help to be found. Then, you usually have to self checkout because they have only one lane open. I don't get a discount to do somebody else's job! I recommend Ace or Hournings Tru Valu for the best customer service. Lowe's and the "Orange Place" are absolutely terrible in the customer service, or special assistance department! I thought that the Lowes in Harrisburg was maybe somehow the only bad store with poor customer service, but the Palmyra one is just as sparsely staffed as well and just as bad. Wilhems Hardware store in Palmyra is a far better option, but they do not have the extensive inventory as Lowes. However, their customer service is unrivaled. Support the local businesses! read more

These people at this store puts customers last and this is the fault of the store' leadership... home depo is better for when a customer has a problem...they try to remedy the issue.. When a washer and dryer (separates) both needs repairs in the year it was purchased for $2,300.00 they could care less... as elderly people I am going next time to my local appliance dealer... Buyer beware!! We had them install a new roof on 3 1/2 years ago for 11k. Now its leaking. They never installed any valleys where our sunroof and patio joined the roof. They said they only have a 2 year warranty on there roofing jobs and hung up. Never ever again. Even turning my CC in. VERY POOR! Don't stand behind thier work! read more

We ordered a double hung door back in October. We were told that the one manufacturer could not make it. They had another manufacturer build it. We received a call, March 18th, that the door was in. We were on vacation & scheduled it to be put in on April 5th. The person that was going to install it called and said that he went to pick it up, and they did not have it. The door is over half way paid for and we still do not have it. This is very unorganized and very upsetting. read more

I had the Palmyra Lowes put 4 windows in my house. The windows are great and cost 840.00, just the parts. Not bad. My problem is they charged 1340.00 to install 4 Windows and was only there 5 hours! What a rip off. That is over 400.00 per window for installation. Steve the guy who did the estimate, gave the price but made it sound like a real hard job and I thought might take all day or even 2. Nope. 5 hours they were in and he was gone. Not sure he had lunch in there too. These were basic Windows. There was no wooden frame or trim to remove and replace. Just sheet rock around the Windows. He didn't even have to put trim on the outside. He just had to chalk them. The Windows are nice but never ask Lowes of Palmyra PA to install Windows. Not worth it. read more

I quit going to the Palmyra lowes because of their credit card machine you have to have a pin number, if you don't forget it they do not want your business, I go to the Lebanon, lancaster and Harrisburg stores and I don't have a problem, so I figured they had to figure out the problem after 6 months, but I was wrong and then you throw in a clerk that doesn't give a damn, Norma is a perfect example of bad customer service, stay away from this store, they care less if you shop with them, I am done with them. read more

I am writing for a recent visit to the Palmyra PA store #2582. Every time in the past that I have utilized the Palmyra store I am given a hard time about using my Lowe's discount card because I am a disabled veteran. I usually go to the Lebanon PA store that is 25 miles further from my home because of this issue. Every time I use my Lowes discount card at the Palmyra store I am forced to show my military ID. That store is the only one that enforces that rule. I do not know why I bothered registering online with my DD 214 to prove that I am a veteran. Most recently just today 04/03/2022 I was at that store. I don't usually go there, but I was in a hurry, and it was closer than going to Lebanon store. While I was there the young man with very long hair gave me a hard time as usual about my military service. He not only wanted my military ID, but he also wanted my phone number. Then I guess he punched the phone number in the wrong way and my name didn't come up, so he refused to check me out. Then he tried a second and third time. By this time, I was very flustered. I hate that store I will never go back there again. Not only was I given a hard time about my military service, but he overcharged me $50 which didn't dawn on me until I was walking out the store because I was so upset at the response this guy gave me that I did not realize that I was over charge fifty dollars. I went back in and spoke with the clerk at the refund counter she was very nice, and she gave me an entire refund of 85.39 back of what should've cost me $35, Now I must wait three days to see if this will go back on my card. I still must make sure that it gets back on my card. This is the last time I ever use the Palmyra PA store. I will notify my fellow veterans not to utilize that store at all. I believe they are just there to rip off veterans and military personnel. This is not the first time this store has done that to me, but it is the last time. I had called about a nail gun that quit working and was told I did not need to bring in the entire combo pack it came with. He wanted to know who I talked to and told me I needed to bring e erything back. Finally he said only hardware could make that decision. He wouldn't call he told me to go work it out. Our Lowe's Home Renovation project continues to be a nightmare. Not sure where to start, so I guess I'll start about 9 months ago when we began planning a new kitchen, flooring, and remodel project with Lowe's. We were excited and happy to use Lowe's, a company we figured we could trust. We are now going into our 7 month without a kitchen or fully functioning home. We've experienced a complete lack of urgency with Lowe's and one mistake after another. Our kitchen cabinets were measured incorrectly and had to be installed twice. After the counter top had to be installed a second time today (due to sloppy cuts on the first install), the company chipped a main cabinet which will again have to be reordered. They ordered and installed a special order sliding patio door which opened the wrong way, so it had to be ordered and installed twice. We purchased brand new appliances from Lowe's and they've been sitting in our garage for months now. The contractor assigned to our project started out with about 6 guys working with him and in the past few weeks (when we see him, which has been rare) he has shown up by himself without for a few hours here and there. As of the time of this post, we have not seen anyone here working for 9 days now (except the above mentioned counter top company). We have written so many emails and made so many calls, we finally had to file official complaints with 3 different state attorney general offices (PA where we live, NC where the corporate office is, and IN where the coordinator offices are located). After doing this, they turned our project over to their "Executive" offices, who have really not done much more to help us at this point. Here's the punch line...we've invested over $40,000 in this overall project and are now praying for some sort of completion or resolution. The project was supposed to be completed in 60-90 days and after Memorial Day of 2018, we still cannot host friends or family at our house. There are still a bunch of remaining tasks to do, which we've already paid for, and nothing is being done. We have thousands of dollars of ordered materials sitting at the store. For 7 months now, no kitchen, stove, sink, dishwasher, family room, etc. Lowe's should be ashamed of what has been done here read more
