Lowe's rebate is a ploy If I could give less than one star I would. Lowe's 500.00 rebate is a ploy for them to use your money for months. They say you'll, get your rebate in 6 to 8 weeks. But that's not true, by the time they give you the run around on your claim it is 16 or more weeks. The automated system will not have a update until week 8 then it will tell you your claim has missing info. When you finally get to talk to someone they will tell you there is no missing info. Must be a glitch and they will redo the clam and send you a new claim number. That puts you back to 6 to 8 weeks waiting for your money. Not sure at this point if I will ever see my rebate money. I may end up getting the run around again. And 6 to 8 weeks can turn into 18 to 24 weeks. I looked on line and I'm not the only person this has happened to. read more

I was shopping in the lawn and garden department. I noticed that they were throwing out plants. I asked if I could take them off their hands for a reduced rate. I was told they could not do that. I realize these plants were not very healthy, however I don't mind. I have a lot of patience and am willing to take a chance on them. Why not offer a blow out clearance shelf instead of throwing them out? I am a frequent shopper at Lowe's in the summer as we have lots of projects. What a waste. Alternatively, I stopped at Menard's, just for the heck of it and found some blow out plants that are now thriving in my garden. Do better Lowe's. read more

So I have bought three appliances through them and when 2 of the three were damaged they said they go through a third party I had to wait for them to see what they would do for me. They made it right. After that What I ordered wood to make a gazebo. What is most frustrating is I ordered delivery of wood next day for $150 and didn't get it. I had to go to the store to tell them I didn't get it. They told me to pick up what I could. I told them I ordered it delivery for a reason. I have no way to get it. staff told me that the person I talked to wasn't working for two more days. So I patiently waited and still no response. And pieces of the wood were warped and can't even use them which in turn I have to return anyways and yet again have no way to return them. Bought 2 Samsung refrigerators Friday, both scratch and dents. Got a great deal. When I looked at one of them I noticed the handles and instructions. I was promised they would be there when I picked them up I asked again, they gave me a number for the manual. After filling them up I called the store and told them they promised the handles would be in the refrigerator. They said I bought them as is, I told the sales person I was promised them she repeated herself again. And told me to call Monday and talk to the manager. That's BS read more

Aaron and Ahmed from the delivery crew for Lowe's in Oshkosh, WI have just made me realize why I love shopping here. Based on where I am sometimes its more convenient to stop in at a Home Depot or Menards, but never again. Believe it or not they went above and beyond to help move my old frig in the garage (which I don't think they were supposed to). Well turned into a bigger pain than they were thinking. I had a stupid wood pile that turned out to be in the way, so they helped me move that too so they could get the frig where it needed to go. They were great. I tried giving them a tip but they wouldn't take it and just wished me a Merry Christmas, who does that???? Please reward them in a way that only you could and let me know what you did. I know it probably sounds like no big deal to whoever is reading this, but it really impacted me obviously and made me a loyal customer. read more

Employees at this location are very rude. Mary at self checkout rolled her eyes when I asked her where a product was. A gentleman in hardware told me they don't carry dewalt knifes and hasn't seen them in six years. He then walked away and said something under his breath. I found a craftsman retractable folding knife that was just like I was looking for. Two guys in lumber/building material stated they couldn't help me only to find them sitting at the cashier station talking to the cashier 3 minutes later. I don't know what leadership is teaching the team members but it is highly disrespectful. read more

If I could give 0 stars to the Kitchen Cabinet design center I would. I ordered cabinets in November of 2021 and still have an unfinished kitchen as of June 22, 2022. Inaccurate measurements by the designer and inaccurate ordering has us missing a full cabinet, fillers, doors and shoe molding. My kitchen sink is not centered with our window and our island was not built to our specs. We will be lucky if we are no longer dealing with them by fall, a full year later. Even have the Regional Manager involved and still received an incorrect replacement order. Unacceptable! Will never use there services again, which does not matter to them as they already have payment in full. read more

Love that you can order items online and pickup inside or curbside without being charged handling fees. Also like that your cc is not charged until you actually pick up the item. Also, if you never pick up an order there is no restocking fee (unlike Menards that charges fees left and right). I always get excellent customer service inside the store. The employees don't run when they see a customer, they actually approach you to ask if you need help - imagine that! Nor do you ever see employees hanging out in their departments chatting and ignoring nearby customers (which I have experienced over and over again at Menards). my boyfriend bought me a entertainment center with a fireplace in Nov2021 for my birthday. It was going to be delivered December 7, 2021. I got a call from Lowe's stating they could have it assembled for $25 prior to delivery. I said great! It was delivered on time and dropped off. Two of us were able to get it in the house. Very heavy. I plugged it in to see the fireplace and it did not work. I had someone look at it and when they assembled it they forgot to plug in a prong for it. Then I realized I could see the wires through the fireplace. The assemblers forgot to put the back on with brackets. I called Lowe's. They were going to look for it. Could not fin it. They told me to call the manufacturer. I called them, they said they could not get the part for 6-12 months. Called Lowe's back a couple times. Stated they could have another entertainment center ahip from another state assemble it and deliver and swap it out or a deep discount. I did not want a different one because I did not want to go through the hassle again. So called again. Customer service poor. Stating they would email the man in charge of assembly and delivery and didn't. So we went in there. The man in charge stated he didn't get the email. So finally after two mon the we got one third off and I bought materials to fix it myself .Never will be going to Lowe's again. Poor service and a run around for two months. read more

I have mixed feelings about this store. On the one hand, they have a decent selection of many items -- we got some great curtain rods here, and picked up an assortment of random stuff for our house shortly after we moved in. Returns and exchanges have been a snap, since the customer service staff is so darn friendly (fresh from Memphis, I just can't get used to that!), even with awkward items like 8 foot fluorescent light bulbs. On the other hand...we attempted to shop for some appliances here, and it was quite frustrating. Most of the displayed items had tags indicating that next day delivery was available; however, the guy who was helping us admitted that the delivery crew was a bit behind, so it would be more like 3 weeks. Not what I wanted to hear when I just bought and moved into a house with world's worst appliances! Pricing and availability was also a bit dodgy, and overall it was difficult to imagine actually making such a large purchase when they seemed so disorganized. Overall this store is perfectly adequate, so if I have coupons or gift cards, I'd definitely come back, but otherwise, I'll be at Menards up the street. read more

At the end of December, my family and I moved to the south end of Fond Du Lac County. We were in desperate need of new appliances and heard about some pretty great deals Lowes was having and decided to check it out. We were assisted by a very nice woman by the name of Lisa who answered all of our questions and really listened when we told her what we were looking for. We ended up leaving the store buying the floor model GE refrigerator because it was in great shape and we were told it would come with all components, and new dishwasher, stove, and microwave and full manufacturers warranty on all. We were a little disappointed when we heard that we would not receive our appliances for an entire month, but had such a nice experience we overlooked it. This is when everything went downhill. We never received a phone call confirming our delivery date. So we called to confirm 2 weeks prior to delivery and were told that there has been a delay and we would now need to wait another week. Frustrated, but still happy we left it alone. Then delivery day came. They brought an as is Samsung fridge. Not what we asked for and obviously did not match the rest of our package. Also stated that even though they HAD the written note stating that ALL our appliances were to be installed and our old fridge was to be moved downstairs, the men delivering our appliances refused to do all of that!! How is it possible that something that was written down and agreed upon the day we bought our appliances can be vetoed by a simple "nope"?? We told them to leave with our appliances and we immediately called Lowes. They found our fridge and agreed to deliver it the next day. They also notified us that we needed to call someone that was contracted out to install the dishwasher and microwave and it would take days to a week to get someone out. That would cost an extra $328.00. Why weren't we informed of this in the beginning?? One so we had time to schedule this and two so we weren't surprised by an additional charge. We came to the agreement to install the microwave ourselves and a discount on the dishwasher installment. They agreed to bring it to $79.00, but then they added mileage and additional charges. At this point we said forget it and we will do it ourselves. Our appliances came the next day and we began a huge project installing them. A few days later my one year old was playing with his refrigerator magnets and I noticed him pulling on a wire under the new refrigerator. The kick plate that was there at the store is now missing. So much for having "all components" So once again we called Lowes in Oshkosh. They said they apologize and will have one for us in 3-7 days. Ok fine. After seven days we called looking for an update on our kick plate. You guessed it! They never ordered one and are now refusing to give us one! I have never seen such unorganization in a large corporation in my life. I have never had such poor customer service. I have never been lied to so many times by the same company. Now I need to spend more money to make it safe for my child to play with his magnets. Way to go Lowes. Keep it classy. I am telling everyone I know and don't know, save yourself the headache and disappointment and shop somewhere else! read more

Their delivery is the worst! I ordered a refrigerator that was going to be delivered in two weeks. I received a call two days before the delivery date saying they goofed up and didn't get the order in the system so it was going to be another two weeks. Today is the day. I received a call that it would arrive between 12-4, it's now 4:15 and no sign of them. I called the store and they said the 12-4 is just an estimate It could arrive later. They said if some time passes and they still don't contact me I should contact the store again. Really? A company as large as Lowes has that crappy of a logistics operation? You would think the store would know exactly where their delivery people are at any give moment. I cleaned my refrigerator out this morning and my food has now been sitting out for five hours. I should have kept everything in it and made them wait once they got here. If you order anything to be delivered be prepared to waste an entire day waiting for them. read more

had a new frig delivered on a Fri. It was to be delivered between 8am and noon, got delivered around 2pm. Sunday we went back to Oshkosh Lowes to exchange this defective appliance. We were informed that because we ordered it through Appleton (they were the store that had one in stock) that we would have to deal with them. We went up to that Lowes, we were than informed that there was no manager that could assist us and if we could come back Mon. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Husband goes back Monday and talks to the store manager who was rude. The THIRD party delivery service delivers the next frig but in doing so damages my wood floor and wall. I go back to the Oshkosh Lowes and talk to a manager, I guess, and she sends my pictures and info to Appleton store and says someone will be in touch in a week. It's been more than 2 weeks and still I'm waiting. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Lowes will just take your money and if something is wrong your on your own, GOOD LUCK read more

Do NOT use Lowe's for any type of home improvement project or anything similar. Literally the worse experience I have ever had with a company in my entire life. We paid Lowe's upfront (we will never make that mistake again) to build a deck. This was supposed to be done within a three month time frame at the latest. Now the completion date is a year out and with all of headaches and excuses we have finally decided to cancel the order and will have to finish the deck ourselves. Even though they never actually finished the deck and we have huge rocks on our driveway and missing/damaged boards they still are not refunding it. The customer service and "arbitration" process is just a slap in the face. I could seriously write pages about this experience. Do yourself a HUGE favor and just stay away from Lowe's. read more

I know very little about the home remodeling process that we are currently doing ourselves. That being said, every time I go to Lowes, I am met by knowledgable employees that really know their area and want to help me understand. The store is nicely laid out and has a comfortable atmosphere. My husband could spend hours here, so I make myself at home on the patio furniture ;) The people working here check n frequently to make sure that we're finding what we need. I've even had it where employees from other areas have stumbled across me and have offered help. Even if they don't know, they find someone that does. The home remodeling process has been so much more enjoyable having the employees at lowes offer their services and prevent me from drowning :) read more
