Terrible!! If you buy a $2200.00 Craftsman riding lawnmower from them and it breaks 8 weeks later, you cannot exchange it. You have to take it to Craftsman for a warranty claim. The authorized dealer will tell you that they will fix it but Craftsman parts are on backorder and they are not sure when it can be fixed. You will then have to pay someone to come cut your grass. Meanwhile Lowe's customer (no)service will tell you sorry there is nothing they can do. It is NOT right and they do NOT care!!! read more

The only good thing I can say about Lowes would be the 3rd party installers that we had. They were outstanding. That's where it ends. I have $5000 sliding patio door that because the screen that was sent was not only the wrong size, but opened the wrong way, we have a sliding door that during the nice weather, cannot be left open. That is what you are supposed to be able to do with a window, open it and leave it open...with a screen on it. Their response, essentially a month to get the replacement and that's if it's escalated on their end. What's the customer been offered for their screwup? Nothing, ooops, sorry. We got paid and we screwed another customer. I've made follow up calls, nothing further from them aside from, 30 days out, if it's escalated. I posted a message on their Facebook page, they said so sorry, give them 2 days to respond. Nothing. Our microwave stopped working on March 8, 2023. We called Lowe's and the appliance department was busy. Angelo Thomas ending up taking our call and was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant. Answered our questions regarding a current sale, installation, etc. The following day we met with Jesse Hazel who assisted us with looking at microwaves, discussed installation, prices, etc. He was also extremely professional, helpful and pleasant. As a result of a debacle by Lowe's, I encountered disturbing customer support by the Oneida Store Manager, Kelly Koons. The Lowe's Oneida Store failed to detect that there was a delivery issue that they should have proactively addressed, yet at the 11th hour the night before delivery, which was scheduled for yesterday, I was informed by the 3rd Party Delivery Service that my Refrigerator was not going to be delivered. On top of that the Order was completely cancelled. Kelly's demeanor was rude and condescending. She fabricated the course of events, such as stating she found out about the issue on Sunday morning and then back tracked saying she found out Sunday night. When I initially spoke with Kelly yesterday, she stated she would keep me posted about the resolution. At 2:30pm today I followed up with her and she immediately answered that she was not able to assist. Meanwhile had I not followed up, I question whether or not she would have even gotten back to me as she displayed no sense of urgency. She was extremely unprofessional, entitled, combative, continually spoke over me every time I spoke and then hung up the phone on me. I would give zero stars if there was the ability to do so because I have never experienced such a despicable level of customer support from a Store Manager or any store employee for that matter as I did with Kelly Koons at Oneida Lowe's. AdditionalIy, I requested to speak to her Manager three times. She skirted around the issue and would not accommodate my request. I therefore called the Store back after being hung up on, and after explaining the situation, was told by the Lowe's Associate that she did not know who Kelly's Manager was. She then advised me to contact Lowe's customer care 800#. I contacted the Lowe's 800 number, had to repeat the issue several times before the support representative understood the problem, requested to speak to a Manager, was advised that a Manager would be available shortly and was then disconnected from the call after waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes. Therefore not only is Kelly, the Oneida Store Manager unfit to be in a Managerial capacity, Lowe's overall gravely failed to manage the issue and provided me with a horrendous customer experience! This store is the worst I have ever encountered. First you have to get through their phone service to try and talk to a human. I called this AM for the lawn and garden dept. And the phone rang and rang and nobody answered. So I have to recall again and try and get customer service, and all he did was recall the lawn and garden dept, and I received the same result, NO ANSWER. So now I have to call back a third time and ask the same customer service rep to please walk back and check to see why no one is answering. He said he couldn't leave the area, and that was the last straw. So I aske him to connect me to the manager and he hung up on me. FOR SOME REASON THEY'RE NOT ALLOWING THIS REVIEW TO BE SEEN??! Disappointing Could I possibly do a negative star? Back in May 2022 I went online and purchased a utility shed for around $1600. My delivery date was going to be June 12. I took the day off that day when nobody showed up I called and asked why. They told me that since I did not order an installation with my shed that I had to cancel my order and meet with an installation person. I made an appointment with the installation person, and they never showed up or called or anything. I then made another appointment with the installation person, and after speaking with them and adding a roof, floors and a paint job to my $1600 shed, my grand total was $3086!!!!! I had no idea everything was à la cart! They gave me an installation date of June 28, then they switched it to June 29. About a week later I received an email from Lowes stating that my install date was now going to be July 29, a full month past my date! after talking to nearly every Lowes employee in Oneida and every employee at heartland installation, I gave up! at this point, he told me they were going to give me $700 off. she could not take it off of my bill yet in case anything more happened she wouldn't be able to discount it further if there was already a discount on it. so she said she would wait and see if anything else went wrong (in anticipation almost) I had missed three days of work and I also postponed a vacation that I was going to take. I really wanted the shed! FINALLY July 28 comes, and I ASSUME my shed is going to be installed the next day NOT! The installation guy called me and told me he would not be there to install on July 29. In fact he had literally no idea when he could come at all. He claimed that the store never re-ordered my shed, and that's why he couldn't install it. I called the store, for the 20th time I believe and I'm not exaggerating, and they said the installation guy was going to call me the next day with an installation date. SURPRISE! He never called! I went into the store again and spoke to a manager, who was very nice and tried to be accommodating. I asked her how much more money I was going to receive off of the shed in addition to the original $700 that she gave me off because of all of the previous BS that went on. she said there would be no further discounts. I canceled the shed!!!!! while I was there for about 35 min, there was a man actually sitting on the floor for 20 minutes at customer service with the store phone to his ear while he waited for somebody to help him with his insurance claim on a weedeater he bought there! I have spend thousands and thousands of dollars at this store in the past two years remodeling two houses, and this is what I get! My partner of 12 years became terminally ill. He was worried about me being able to keep up the yard by myself after he was gone,so he went to Lowe's and bought a riding lawn mower. They told him if he bought the extended warranty that the lawnmower " it would be covered for everything from repairs to maintenance and if they can't fix it they replace it. He paid a extra $360 for a four year extended warranty. The lawnmower receipt was in his name but he put the warranty in my name. This year I needed some work on my mower because it wasn't starting so I called to have it picked up and spent a month of phone calls while everyone passed the buck on who was responsible to fix my mower. After I called the store and talked to a manager he agreed to have my mower picked up for repairs. They kept my mower for another month and brought it back unfixed and said the repairs weren't covered under the warranty. My daughter was with us when we purchased the warranty. The associate laughed and said," this warranty covers everything short of taking a sledge hammer to it.." I know she was joking but they covered nothing. I am disabled and incapable of mowing with a push mower, so now I have been paying people to mow my lawn which I can't afford. Online ordering is THE WORST! Store is fine, but the whole point of online ordering for pickup is to save time by having your order ready for pickup within a reasonable time after your order is placed. Although this Lowes advertises they fill orders within an hour, they've yet to have a single one of my orders ready within 8 business hours, meaning that I or one of my folks has to pick the order themselves to avoid wasting even more time. And we're not talking complex orders either! Order a single bag of ice melt online in the morning (and pay for it) and try to pick it up hours later that afternoon and they STILL haven't processed the order! This makes 10 out of 10 orders placed on line which we had to pick ourselves because they weren't ready after waiting 4 to 8 hours during a normal business day! read more

Not only is the customer service atrocious, you can never find someone to help, and when you finally do get someone to help you they know less than you do which is pretty sad since I'm not very handy.
