Ordered a replacement toilet online 7/19/25 to be delivered 7/22/25. Was delivered, but the bowl was shattered into a number of pieces. Called customer service to start the exchange. They told me to take the broken toilet to the nearest Lowe's to start the process, so I did on Friday, 7/25/25. Customer service took the broken toilet and assured me a replacement would be delivered by the following Tuesday, 7/29/25. Waited until Friday, 8/1/25, and still no replacement toilet, so I returned to the aforementioned Lowe's to check on a status. Customer service had no indication of any exchange from the previous visit. They asked if I had the toilet with me. No. I left it the previous week, when I initiated the exchange. After some time, they found some notes from the previous customer service employee documenting the exchange. They assured me it would be processed and that a distribution center which they called while I was waiting had marked the PO# as "received" and it would be delivered in the following days. That interaction took over an hour. Another week passed and still no toilet. So I returned to the aforementioned Lowe's on Friday, 8/8/25, just after 5PM, I believe. The customer service employee told me that I would have to call the distribution center myself on Saturday and there was nothing she could do. She gave me a #. I called the # on Saturday morning, as instructed, around 11:00AM. The gentleman on the phone told me there was nothing he could do on his end and that I needed to return to the Lowe's location and speak to customer service. I did, around an hour later at 12:00 or so. Customer service told me that they were going to call the center, but they are closed on Saturday and they would call the center Monday AM and then give me a call. They confirmed my #. I left. Monday I waited until about 1:00PM and called Lowe's, after not hearing from them yet and not wanting to miss the window to follow up that day, and I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and drove down to Lowe's for a now 5th visit in the last 3 weeks or so. Upon arrival, I was told that the toilet would not be shipped for another 3-4 days. I asked for the order to be canceled and that I would simply purchase a toilet from another source. They complied with my request and I was credited for the toilet. This was beyond frustrating and a huge waste of my time and energy. read more

This is your typical Lowe's supercenter with all the bells and whistles, including tool rental and pickup for goods ordered online. As other reviewers have stated, there is a ton of parking given its proximity to the neighboring Walmart. We primarily come here for home improvement odds and ends, and I've really enjoyed their gardening section. In fact, everything from our deck box to our hoses and shovels are from here. I've had mixed luck keeping some of their plants alive, but I think that's more on the killer heat we had this summer. The plants always look thriving from the store, both indoor and out (although sometimes a bit root bound). Lovely staff, but there is no tap to pay. I learned that after one trip upon which I had to double my time there putting everything away. Deals are relatively good as they have tiers of most tools and items as with any large, big box store. read more

We order 5 trees online from Lowe's home improvements on February 17th Fex delivered them on February 24th . We payed 504.00 for these trees they had a year warranty on them. 2 died We took them back this past Friday night well the people at Lowe's told us we didn't pay for these trees really how did we order them and FedEx deliver them and we had order number and how we paid for these 109.00 trees total for trees was 509.00 for 5 trees but we just paid for 3 trees then they told us they only had a 30 return on all them . I needed to purchase some materials for a cabinets I am making for a customer and went to the W. Nashville Lowe's (Store 0629) to purchase Maple Plywood in 3/4 and 1/4 inch because their inventory said they had it in stock. I secured the pieces of 3/4" I needed, but the 1/4" was more challenging. The sheets they did have were damaged. When I asked for assistance, I was blown off by an employee who told me he had another customer in the back of the store. When I asked someone else to help, he told me the person who blew me off was the Floor Manager. The person helping me called him on the phone and said I wanted to discuss concerns with the materials. The person who blew me off said he couldn't come to me because he was too busy collecting carts in the parking lot and was on the other side of the store. Without looking at the issues or coming in to discuss this with me, I was totally dismissed. I tried escalating, and the response I received was just as dismissive, and all the person would say is "the discount is the discount." He totally missed the issue. I will never buy anything from this location ever again and will only use Lowe's as a last resort. Thank you Lowe's, I am now a Home Depot Pro Xtra member. read more

Gonna give a half star with benefit of the doubt due to Covid (or other ?) staffing issues. Nonetheless, this was my second trip within the past two months and while "available" staff members were generally courteous, overall they seemed a bit distracted (conversing in small groups) and the store was a bit of a mess. My biggest criticism was related to the general appearance of the store. Both times I visited, many of the aisles were filled with boxes waiting to be shelved. I DO understand the issues here in current situation with a paucity of workers. But where improvement could be made immediately would be to stack those unopened-unshelved boxes to one side...not just plop them in the middle. That latter issue is what was most irritating yesterday as I started down one aisle, only to be thwarted my a stack of large boxes - forcing me to backtrack with my cart and then walk down that aisle rom the other end. Sorry....but while extra steps may be healthy...they don't help with efficiency when shopping under (personal) time constraints. Overall selection is pretty good. Prices are comparable to HD. And, I appreciate the Military discount. read more

This Lowe's is located off of Charlotte Pike just west of the interstate and shares a large complex with Walmart. For the most part this is your standard Lowe's location. We do not live far, so we pop in from time to time. Our latest trip was for some flowers, potting soil and a few other gardening things. They had a decent selection of flowers at solid prices, but many were sadly under-watered and on their last leg. We did find a few keepers to take home and give new life to! Service was good inside, as I found staff and was helped with no issue. However, outside in the garden area it was different with no staff anywhere to assist. Overall, this location is your run-of-the-mill Lowe's. We got exactly what we were after and our expectations of the store and service were not exceeded, but also did not fall short. So, when in need we have no issues coming back to the Charlotte Pike Lowe's. read more

We recently began a bathroom renovation project and ordered the tiles from Lowe's, as well as new toilets. The tiles arrived bent and broken, and the "service pro" moved out our appointment multiple times without any reason. We contacted Lowe's about this, and they requested we call the "service pro" directly. When we informed them that we already tried that multiple times without getting an answer or call back, they basically said tough. Like anyone, I like great deals and value, but that only holds up if the products/service hold up. In this case, we would gladly pay more to have any level of service. Our Home Depot in Bellevue isn't perfect, but noticeably better. Ace Hardware is also a great alternative in the area. read more

Incompetent window installation. I fell for it -- they make you pay in full up front for window installation. I paid 17k back in November for new windows. "12 week lead time," Korey said. So, 16 weeks came and went. "Your windows arrived. By the way, one window that was shipped had busted glass, so we'll reorder it." Great, So here we are, 20 weeks after payment, and it turns out 5 of the windows have broken balusters, 3 have chipped sashes. "Oh, it's because Pella shipped them open in the truck." Wow, a premium window that's so exclusive it can't be bothered to have sufficiently protective packaging. That also explains the broken window... "Oh, no problem, I'd be _honored_ to reorder the parts for you," said Korey. "Pella will send out a tech to replace the parts; it should only take a week." So, another 5 weeks ago by. "Where's the new parts, Korey?" I ask. "Oh, you have to call Pella." Great, so I call Pella. "Why are you calling us, sir? Usually Lowe's calls if there's service needed." says the Pella rep. Awesome. Eventually, I get on a video chat with the Pella rep, who explains Korey ordered the wrong parts. Amazing. So now it will be another few weeks. All in all, it's been a really embarrassing display of incompetent mismanagement and communication. I had originally planned to also update patio doors and my entrance door, but they have lost my business given this absurd display. I'll never pay in full again. Would recommend Window World instead. All of that said, I had to admit the windows that _do_ work are pretty great and look very nice, but the process has not been worth it, especially since I still, to this day, have about 5 windows that do not function because they were installed with broken balusters. read more

HORRIBLE customer service today at returns. I waited close to 20 minutes before I got to the counter. I missed the 90 day return policy by one day so the sweet lady with pink hair at the counter called for a manager to see if they could do anything to help me. Whoever the woman was with white hair pushed me to the side and made me wait EVEN LONGER so she could process the entire line and then proceeded to 'help' me, even though I'd already been waiting for a long time. She made me wait just to then tell me to call the manufacturer of the lamp parts I was trying to return and see if they could help me bc Lowe's won't do anything. She was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful when I just asked kindly if there was anything they could do. Even the woman walking out behind me said how downright disgusting she was towards me. Worst customer experience. It doesn't matter the department, no one is ever readily available to assist. I tried to purchase a screen door and installation 3 times. Each time they messed up the order, didn't follow up, and I still am without a screen door. I even spoke to the manager and still never found a resolution. I tried to give them another chance and do an online pick up order. Another fail. No one came out to my car with my order after I followed the check in instructions. This store is consistently understaffed. On each of my last 5 visits there have not been sufficient staff to assist me with my needs as a customer. I understand there have been widespread staffing challenges, but Lowe's is a publicly traded company that needs to answer for its shortcomings. Lowe's corporate/regional; please increase your staffing in customer service/returns, wood working, and most likely every other department. I was just asked to fill out a survey for a delivery I never received! They called to cancel the delivery of a refrigerator I ordered saying someone was sick and to reschedule the next day. (after I had been waiting 2 hours). I rescheduled for the next day. They never showed up then either and never called. When I called the store, they said no one was delivering because of weather and I didn't receive a call because there was no longer a record of me in the system - they just said it had been delivered and charged me!!! They say they've refunded me, but I won't know that for a week until it posts. I wasted 2 days sitting around waiting for something to be delivered. I purchased an expensive washer/dryer set about 3 weeks ago from this location. They weren't able to set up a delivery date until 3 weeks later due to logistics issues..... that was already ridiculous. They had told me I would receive a call the day before with my 2-hr delivery window. I said that's fine. I was annoyed that it would be 3 weeks before getting my new washer/dryer but I accepted because I just wanted it to be over and done with. I get a call 2 days before my delivery date asking if March 7th still works for me. I said that was fine. Then the woman on the line tells me I will receive a call the morning of my delivery date between 7am and 9am with my delivery window.... I had been told I would receive this courtesy call the day before my delivery date, not the morning of. This frustrated me because I work full-time so I need to know in advance how to plan my day and what to tell my boss. Morning of my delivery date, I wait all morning for my courtesy call. 9am rolls around and still no call. So I call the store to try and ask for my delivery time. No one answered for 5 minutes. I kept having to press 0 to try to reach an operator but no one ever answered. So at this point, I'm annoyed, hang up, and decide to start heading to work because I can't get through to anyone and I haven't received my 2-hr window. Moments after I put my phone in my purse, I get a call at 9:04 letting me know my delivery window. I told the person on the other end of the line that I was told someone was supposed to call between 7am-9am and that I'd been waiting all morning. I let him know that he was late and that I didn't appreciate it. His response: "Okay, have a great day!" No apology, no nothing.... So now I'm really angry. Clearly Lowe's doesn't value my time or respect me enough to give me an apology and can't be bothered to answer the phone when I call. So I decide to call Customer Service to explain my issue and let them know my frustrations. I sat on the line for 5 minutes and no one answered.... So here I am. At this point I would rather just cancel my entire order and go elsewhere because Lowe's clearly doesn't value my business. I will never shop at this store again. UPDATE: They didn't come inside my delivery window.... they arrived an hour early. They are lucky that I work down the street and was able to get there as they were pulling up... I have a job. The service at this Lowe's location is as bad as I've ever experienced. My wife and I just moved to a neighborhood right around the corner and we decided to give this store numerous chances because of how convenient it's location is. The first experience was in the paint department. The people were EXTREMELY unhelpful and treated us like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for help is matching an eggshell white paint for our house. The reason that I decided I had to write such a harsh review however, was because of my most recent experience buying a lawn mower. I ordered one online to be picked up in store. The website said they had 4 in stock at this location. Well, after 24 hours I hadn't heard anything. So I called in. An unfriendly person at the customer service desk answered and I asked them to check on my online order. She said "ok, give me A FEW MINUTES while I pull up that screen". A few minutes?? 7 minutes later she picks the phone back up and says "customer service how may indirect your call?". I said, "you were pulling up the screen to check my order". She said "ohhhh yeahhhh...hang on a few more minutes"...click, and cue hold music. Finally after 12 minutes a different person comes to the phone and says "customer service how can we help you". I said, "I'm trying to figure out my order status". She went on to explain that the girl who works that department doesn't get in until 10:30 (it was 10:27 at this point) but she could check by my last name. It took her less than 15 seconds to search my last name and tell me they could have it ready by noon. HOW THE HECK IS THIS STORE IN BUSINESS?! I spoke with 2 representatives about getting a replacement window for my bedroom (thanks for the break in over the holidays-BAH HUMBUG!) anywho, first guy tells me we can just replace the glass without ordering anything else. I come back a few days later, talk to the "window guy" and he tells me that first of all, the glass is thin and like the width of photo frames... (huh?) then tells me he wouldn't recommend doing that but would recommend ordering a brand new bottom sill but it would need to be measured PERFECTLY because it's custom made and wouldn't be able to return it if it didn't fit correctly. Well, ok. Third trip to Lowe's and I visit the same guy and bring in my whole window sill so it can be measured perfectly. At this point, the "window guy" tells me he's never actually ordered a replacement window sill before and he gets on the phone with a vendor and they tell him to send me to a local glass place. Meh?? So he gives me the name of a place that of course closes in 3 minutes. Seriously?? Run around 3 freakin times for something that I could have gone straight to a glass person for. Annoyed. In terms of merchandise, I haven't had any real issues getting what I need, but I am extremely fearful to talk to someone else who doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. I have been going to Lowe's for years and have bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff for work on my house and my farm. Lately, though, things at my Lowe's on Charlotte seem to be falling apart a bit. The last two visits have seen line delays because of system problems with the registers. On another visit purchased items were incorrectly rung up causing yet another delay to sort it out. I have also noticed a new lack of enthusiasm on the part of some of the store employees when I have asked where to find an item. In fact, on two occasions I was simply told "I don't know" and left to wonder. Management problems perhaps? Lowe's discount program for retired and active duty military is great and was recently simplified. In the past you had to show your ID card and a supervisor was needed to approve the 10% discount. Now, after a one-time registration, I only need to give my phone number which is linked to my credit card. Much quicker and simpler, but the benefits are negated when there are register problems which employees can't fix. But, in spite of my whining, I will keep on giving them a chance to excel as they have for a long time. Convenience and a broad selection are their strong suits. read more

Now that I am a home owner, I get to enjoy the many "Advantages" of home ownership. One of these is trips to Lowes to get stuff that you need. The store was as clean as you'd expect from a huge warehouse filled with home improvement items. The selection is expectedly staggering. Overall I was somewhat disappointed with the service though. Several people passed me, but everyone seemed more interested in going about whatever business they were going about. The one person who did say hello to me, quickly walked away with only the most cursory concern over whatever my response was. Perhaps I have seen too many Lowes commercials and I'm expecting Gene Hackman to greet me at the Entrance so we can build something together. I bought a refrigerator, a stove and a dishwasher. Evidently Lowes don't hook up dishwashers because mine sitting in the middle of the floor in the kitchen. They brought the refrigerator and plugged it in. Didn't take a piece of plastic off paper. Nothing didn't show me anything so when I finally got all the plastic off and by the way, I'm disabled, I didn't know how the drawers fit in the refrigerator. I just had to keep fooling with it and I'm not able to stand up long so that really was a mess. The stove was the same story all the plastic paper crammed in there I couldn't hardly get the rags out to get the paper the cardboard out that was taped on the racks I couldn't get it off because my fingers don't work good it was ridiculous. I had no idea that's how it was going to happen if I did, I would not have bought it from them the cost I'm not able to do all that I'm not happy. I think be was smiling but that could of been me because in less than. 5 minutes I have them up on a ladder getting down 9 windows they said their inventory had for about 2/3rds less than lowest bid. Cost over 1,600 dollars but thrilled I have windows and nice helper ready to put them in for my viewing outdoor pleasure. Large nice beautiful windows! Also 2 were mislabeled and were mixed up priced and found out after they were up. Lots of mistakes, but price is right. Putting up old windows for free if anyone wants them....some people do craft projects. Finally I could not take 9 windows in a Prius. They held them there until we could get them with a coat check as my phone number. I have had other appliances I bought there and someone pick up with the order number. I like this location! Good quality plants and friendly staff except cashier in Garden Center! I purchased a mix outdoor planter over 3 months ago and it is still alive on my patio! Additionally, I purchased two small Jade plants=Feng Shui and they are not only still alive, they have doubled in size. Happy! Everyone inside offered assistance while I shopped but once I entered the Garden Center, all I heard was her gabbing on the phone-obvi personal convo! When I reached the checkout counter she was still having conversation and upset that she had to end it to do her job! My in-store experiences here have been fine. I go in, I get what I need, and I use the self-checkout. The problems come when you have to interact with the staff. I have had online orders shipped to this store twice now, and both experiences have been disastrous. First, I bought a folding table. The order was quickly filled, so I went to pick it up. I waited a good 20 minutes while the employees ran around and filled my order that was allegedly ready to be picked up. My second ship-to-store experience was much worse. I ordered some cabinet hardware that I could not find in the store. The Lowe's website clearly stated that all of the items were in stock at this location, so I placed my order. It was filled quickly, so I went to pick it up. When I arrived, an employee told me that half of my order could not be filled and that they had tried to contact me by phone. They never called me. More headaches ensued. In short, this store is a Lowe's. It probably has what you need. Don't expect any kind of help, however. read more

Let me just throw another spoon into the pot to say that this Lowe's is very weak on customer service. I will also specifically speak on the area of grills. Earlier this spring, a groomsmen from our wedding wanted to purchase a grill for us. Their selection and prices were ok, but their staff were just not knowledgable about their grills and grilling in general! Lowes really cares about vets. Home Depot could care less. They did away with their military discount except 4 times a year. Lowes encourages vets to shop at their store where they give 10 % military discount for all of those that served. The Home Depot could care less about vets. All vets matter regardless of the time served. We went out and put our lives on the line. Lowes even has designated parking spaces for vets. Bet Lowes is laughing all the way to the bank. Home Depot you should have known this might backfire in your face. Lowes the smarty that they are jumped on the that band wagon. I know personally that I spent 400 dollars that would have been spent at The Home Depot this month but they didn't want my money. Lowes will take my money. read more
