After perusing many options, I decided on A Village of Flowers. Their arrangements were beautiful, organic and felt much more curated then many of the other local options, in addition, though the arrangements aren't inexpensive, I found we got a lot more for our money than other shops. I tried ordering from their website, which is great and user friendly, but due to the location, was unable to. I found their FAQ said they often extend their delivery radius for extra cost and based on availability, that being said I gave them a ring to see if it was possible. I can't remember who I spoke to, I believe it was Melissa, but she was wonderful! Checked the schedule said they had availability to make the delivery and that if I decided to go that route, just to give her a call. After a bit more research, I decided on their Appreciation arrangement, and asked for as much yellow as possible, as it's my stepmothers favorite color. They definitely delivered! The arrangement was absolutely beautiful, delivered promptly and in a vase. Our note was included and I would definitely consider ordering from them again if the time arises. My stepmother lit up when she saw them and said it's one of the most beautiful bouquets she's every received.

Caprice also was able to work within my somewhat tight floral budget to fill up a very large room. She made it look like we spent double what we did. I especially appreciate that Caprice doesn't overcharge, even though she probably could (given her list of clientele), which shows her character more than anything else. She stuck to my budget and was able to calculate a quote on the spot so that we could make adjustments. Quality: The flowers were beautiful and high quality. No browning or wilting present on any of the flowers/greenery. Each individual stem was gorgeous and the arrangement was created by an experienced hand. Gift factor: I think the presentation wasn't as impressive as they cut their stems short and stuffed them into a short vase. While beautiful, it didn't have the wow factor that you need when sending them as a gift to someone. Looking at the arrangement, it doesn't look like $80 worth of flowers? I could go to the store and buy a couple dozen roses for the same price that would really.I would suggest asking them to not cut the stems so short and get a taller/larger vase so the bouquet can look a bit larger. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Lastly, the manager (Emma) reached out to me via text after I had asked one of her employees to please have her call me. The resolution was to apply every excuse possible to validate their terrible service. I was also told that they would come and pick up the arrangement for a fee and charge me even more money for a new arrangement. PLEASE AVOID this business when spending your hard-earned money on something special for someone. I've been buying flowers for a very long time, and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

A few things to highlight are floral quality and hydration along with special delivery touches. These are HUGE selling points in my opinion and a true signed of a great florist.
