We are professional landlords with a commercial account for a total of 5 rental units in the immediate area. And once again, Lowes has completely stepped on its crank. This is not the first time. It will be the last. We bought a gas dryer for a new property on November 8th. Lowes totally screwed up both the service address (they gave the installer our home address) and the phone number (they gave the installer the landline number for our home address). I finally get the call for installation on the 13th on the right number, after leaving a message on their answering machine on the 11th, and the first delivery date their installer has available for a Lowes customer like me is the 28th. 20 days from purchase to installation, and that's if nothing goes wrong. You can't do business with these people, pure and simple. You can pretend, but that's about it. All they're capable of doing competently is counting their customers' money and laughing at them. Congrats, Lowes! You've just lost all maintenance and appliance buys for five rental properties! read more

It's nice to have this store close to me. I visit it often as we are remodeling our house room by room. However, I usually get frustrated or disappointed over the fact that it's hard to find someone to help when I have a question. It's not just in this location. I live very close to 3 and they all seem to be that way. At times I have been told to go home and look online because the selection is better online. I am a customer who likes to look at things in person and to touch them. IF I wanted to shop online I would have already done that. One thing I like about Lowe's is that I can take my dog in. I'm training him to be a therapy dog so having places that are dog friendly are very helpful. The selection of paints, cleaning products, and other items are nice while some items like tile that have very little selection. So any time you go in you never know what your experience will be like. read more

This local Lowe's serves its purpose for my husband and me -- a convenient home improvement store that we run into every month or two. I am most impressed by the lawn and garden section of the store. I am not sure how it compares to other Lowe's stores, but when shopping at the Home Depot in North Fayette last fall, their flower selection was dismal compared to this Lowe's. read more

I went into Lowes for a few items--one being a dehumidifier. I asked 2 different employees to assist--they were rude and told me to read the box. Being 8 months pregnant I couldn't lift the box into the cart and they didn't much care. Finally after asking another 3 employees--I found one to help. So much rudeness --checking out and trying to find other items. Clearly there are zero expectations for customer service here. read more

Would like to give NO STARS. bought all new kitchen appliances there. Refrigerator is defective. They send an outside company to repair. Man arrives with NO TOOLS and wrong size seal for freezer. not once, twice. The first time, he tries to use my spoon from counter to install it! If you are thinking of doing a major project do not go with Lowe's. It took them 8 months to finish our tiny kitchen. The communication was nonexistent between Lowe's, vendors, and subcontractor. Misunderstandings, wrong orders, delays upon delays. Then when we wanted a refund because of the horrible experience, again delays, 2 months worth of delays, and still no satisfaction. Just recently purchased a Maytag washer and dryer. The dryer had to be order in. We scheduled the delivery for a week and a half out. Once my old dryer finally died I called to see if they could change my delivery. They were able to bring it next day! The gentleman that brought the appliances in to my home were respectful and put it exactly where I wanted them. Plus, the Maytag washer and dryer are amazing! Would completely recommend. read more

My mother who was almost 90 years old purchased a dishwasher the first appointment for the installer that I know how to make a special trip for did a no-show the dishwasher which is a KitchenAid was falling out of the socket a second installer came and attempted to fix it but needed to return again when he returned he said there was a missing clip we waited for several weeks and this has been going on since May and they informed us that the service call was closed because everything was done when in fact there was a missing pin I have called literally dozens of times and corporate in the issue still has not been resolved the bottom of this dishwasher does not have a smooth toe kick. Aesthetically it does not look good the latest issue was today with a installer That was supposed to show up between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. I traveled through rush-hour traffic since I am located over a half an hour away at 7 in the morning I received a call from the installer stating he would not be making it I spoke with a woman identified as Erica as supervisor and the last message I received was that this was everything was done in a timely manner when in fact it hasn't doesn't and dozen of calls later this has not been resolved I would not recommend purchasing any appliances because if you have a problem that becomes your problem. Went into Lowe's to get some supplies and seen they had Google home I purchased two of them then found out they didn't have them at that time that I can pick them up later I came to the store over a four month period. And they never had them then the last time I came to the store they said I had picked them up I called over and over again to find out what happened they said they had a picture of me picking them up and they would not be giving them to me if you want someone to steal your money go to the Loews in Waterfront I was appalled that even happen I just don't even know what to say about it it's very disappointing that happens in this day and time a company can put something on hold for you and just tell you we don't have it or you picked it up and not give you your money. The worst store I've ever been in I've never had that happen to me in my whole life and I'm 48. I will be going to Home Depot they go above and beyond to try to make sure you're satisfied. read more

This Lowe's is consistently unable to manage their inventory such that I have wasted considerable time attempting to source materials here over the last few years. I ordered for delivery a product listed as available and in stock on their website (DRIcore Panel Leveling Kit). They just called to indicate that their listed inventory is wrong, and they never plan to carry the product again. read more

One week ago, my husband and I just purchased a washer and dryer here, and decided that since we were already at the store to also pick up some plastic sealing strips for our shower door. It was 15 mins to closing and we asked the guy at the bath desk for help in locating the strips. He never made eye contact with us, had a disdainful look on his face the entire time, and proceeded to lie through his teeth that Lowe's doesn't sell parts and we would have to go through the manufacturer directly. I'm sorry, but Walmart, Amazon, and Lowe's online all carry these generic items. I guess he was appalled that we apparently had the nerve to ask for his help so close to clocking out, nevermind that we had just spent close to half an hour waiting for service at the appliances department, and spent over 2000 bucks at the store. My bad for expecting basic customer service here. Will not be back, if I can help it. read more

My husband and I went to the store on June 29th. We planned to purchase two doors. We decided to pay $35.00 to have an installer come to the house and measure so that Lowes can install the doors. We would be paying several hundred dollars to get the doors installed. After the installation, Lowe's would refund us the$ 35.00. Our paperwork said we would receive a call from an installer within 2 business days. I also had a few other questions that our salesman said the dept Manager would call me about the next day. Never received a call from anyone at Lowe's! By July 2 we still had not heard from the installer or the dept Manager. I called the dept manager and asked him my few questions that I had. He answered one question and said he would have another millwork person call me. Millwork never called me! By July 3, I called our salesman (David Crane). He was surprised that I had not heard from the installer. He told me he would send a message to the installation dept about calling us.Today it's July 8th and we STILL have not heard a peep from anyone at Lowes. Our total order that we planned on spending at Lowe's was around $1700.00 !! I called today and asked to talk to a store Manager. I told him that we have not heard from anyone at Lowe's and that we are not going to proceed with our order. I told him we would like our $35.00 back. He said OK, just bring in your receipt the next time you are at the store. He never apologized, he never even asked me what my customer number was so he could look up our order and maybe somehow save this sale !!!! I cannot believe how unprofessional this store was ! Goodbye Lowes...Hello Home Depot !! What a shame ! David Crane our salesperson was very nice and helpful to us...too bad he is losing the sale. read more
