I ordered a 50 dollar gallon of paint custom tinted online for pick up in the store so I didn't have to wait for them to mix it enough to do after work already Two hours later I still never get the order fulfillment complete come pick up your item text so I drive to the store. No one is in the pick up section. I go to the customer service who just gives me a blank star so I go to the paint department push a button wait for someone to come and show him my order and ask why I never got the update. He looks surprised goes to the computer pulls up my order in front of me and then start the process to mix it. That was the whole reason I planned my evening around, ordering the paint for pick up after work and here I am at 8 PM sitting in their parking lot waiting for some 19-year-old to finally prepare my order that I have already paid for Every time I come here, I ask why am I back? This place is horrific. It is worth the drive to Woodhaven. At least there. Home Depot gives Lowe's a run for their money. read more

Very Disappointed with the Delivery Service I scheduled next-day delivery for today between 7:30 AM and 11 AM. I work nights, so I got up early, cleared space, and prepared everything by 7 AM-definitely not ideal, but I made it work. At 7:28 AM, I received an email saying the delivery window had changed to 8 AM-8 PM on the same day. Inconvenient, but at least I had the day off. Then just a few minutes later, another email came through-now the delivery is delayed by two more days. This is a major issue because I'm moving that day. The only reason I made such a large purchase from this company was because of the promised next-day delivery. Extremely unhappy with the service and the way this was handled. Lowe's contractor Base Contracting installed a fence today. Installation was detailed and I was asked many questions in the process. I was not impressed with the mess left for this 76 year old woman to clean up. 1) Base Contracting DUMPED clay with debris and. rocks big and small on top of my newly planted herb garden! 2) The driver who delivered cement left 70ft long trail of hydraulic fluid/oil on the driveway and 3 spills. Lowe's has not gotten back to me about this. 3) Today I discover there are two 4ft sections of fence in the back yard. It would seem that Lowe's over ordered and overcharged for this mess. This Lowes is awful. The people that work there are not good at their jobs. i went there to get some tinted paint yesterday. I gave my order then a couple comes up behind me and gives their order. They filled their order first and left me waiting 10 minutes for mine. They said it was more efficient to wait on them ahead of me. They were buying 3 gals of tinted paint I was buying 1 5 gallon pail. I'm pretty sure I was spending more money and I was first. Needless to say. I won't be visiting that paint counter n the future. They will be lucky if I spend any of my money there. They called police on their costumers during pandemic for busing paint. Our sheriffs were handing out $1000 tickets to old people. There policies suck at Lowe's. read more

We purchased the stove less than 2 weeks ago. When they came to install it ( which we paid for) they hooked it up wrong and there was a strong gas odor. The gas odor was still there after a few hours so we turned the gas off. We had headaches and were nauseous. Lowe's did not seem to care. They said they are not responsible for what the delivery people do. After going back and forth, we received $120 refund. Somebody from the warehouse came out and noticed that the gas what's hooked up wrong. They did fix it. And now for my second problem. After a few days of having the stove, I was baking bread and looked down at the bottom so-called drawer and noticed light. I looked underneath the stove and noticed it was completely bent down and the floor was unbelievably hot. Once again, Lowe's did not care. They said there was a 48-hour window for a return and it had been about 10 days. I had no idea of the damage because I did not think to look under the stove. I expected we had a new stove with no damage. Lowe's does not take responsibility. They will never get my business again. read more

Love Lowe's! Good prices almost always friendly knowledgeable staff. Always have everything you're looking for for pretty good prices. The staff seems to be checked out most of the time and doesn't seem energized or care that you're there. They are not very helpful. Skip the monroe location and drive to Woodhaven instead. Edit: There are a few people there that are helpful Sue in the garden center for example. It seems that some of the least helpful folks are in the appliance sections. Maybe they work off commission. read more

Poor and unprofessional customer service. Attempted to order carpet and was quoted different prices on 3 occasions. When finally confirmed price and placed order for carpet, I was charged $1000 more than what I was quoted. Reached out to manager, Brandon in regards to issue and was informed he would look into it and call me back in a few days. Almost 10 days later I called him only to be told, "there is nothing we can do to honor the price you were quoted because it was done verbally". The price I was quoted was done in the store and I asked the carpet sales associate Breanna to print me a copy quote and she stated, "she was unable to do so because she was using an old system and had to prepare it manually." Lesson learned- not to use Lowe's for my flooring needs. Customers are not valued and employees are not held accountable for their mistakes. read more

Customer service is at an all time low. From the folks at the customer service desk to the specialty departments in the back. Nobody seems to care about being helpful, or taking any amount of initiative to solve a problem. Twice I have attempted to purchase a shower door twice I have been met with nothing but a headache. Their bathroom contractor does not show up when expected, no communication, and nobody at the store seems to care; including the managers. Twice now they've lost a $1500 order, and all they say is, "there's nothing we can do we only have one bathroom contractor". Shame on me for even trying again. Prior to 9 AM there is not a single register that is open. You have to do everything through self check out. It's ridiculous. I'd rather drive the extra miles to woodhaven. read more

Do not get your so-called Custom Cabinets at Lowe's. my father has paid $8,000 4 Custom Cabinets they're only come in certain sizes the associate that helped him with the design of cabinets ordered cabinets that we're not wanted ordered them wrong and they came damaged this is cost my dad a total two extra month's rent with all the other bills that come along with it because he's waiting for these cabinets to get the countertops done so he can move into the house he bought in February it is now April and they have no clue where the cabinets are or when they will be here. And all those has to say is we are going to make this right but yet won't tell him how they're going to make it right. read more

Ordered a dryer from the Monroe store. Was supposed to receive a phone call the night before but never got one. I finally called the store the day the dryer was supposed to be delivered and confirmed that it would arrive between 11-1... Did not arrive until 1:30....drivers are very polite....got our old dryer out and when they were getting the new one out of the truck it was damaged. It looked like another appliance had rammed it in transit. Huge dent in bottom right hand corner could definitely see outline of a corner of a corner of a large appliance had hit it. Driver informed me of damage but dryer was still working so he could leave it till they could redeliver the next day. He called dispatch immediately and said they would deliver new one tomorrow. The next day once again no phone call when called was told there was not delivery scheduled. We could have set ANOTHER delivery date for Mother's Day???? So now the next available time is in 3 days which we have to take ANOTHER day off work and hopefully this time we get our dryer. It's great we have a dryer that is working but 3 days off work is costing us a fortune. They are not accommodating for all the time waiting all day(x's3) or our loss of wages , to get this damaged dryer taken care of. Lowe's was blaming the delivery company and the delivery company was blaming Lowe's.... either way they are not standing behind their company. Sad sign of the times. We're have no choice but to take our losses and pray this fiasco just over in the next three days. We will be going back to ABC Warehouse and you should to. Bought a couple of things on Feb 10th at around noon from the lumber area. I didn't really have any idea of what to buy. Luckily, Paul (not sure of his family name) was there and he helped me tremendously. I saw him sweeping the floor underneath the wood panels, so he was obviously already a great employee. I just asked him a question, and he stopped what he was doing and actually stayed with me for like 30 minutes as I figure things out on what I exactly needed for my home repair project. These included things that were not even in his area. Great guy and Lowe's should reward him for being a great employee. I have been to other Lowe's but this branch certainly up the game on customer service. Thanks to Paul I have completed my project with ease and confidence. read more

I've never been a huge Lowes fan but when I moved to MI a couple years ago and I went shopping at my local Lowes, my disappointment sunk to a new low. This store is clearly being run under bad management. Employees are rude, unhelpful and act very put out when you ask for help. I know someone who works there and they told me the manager is an awful woman who everyone hates and hides from when she's around. I've seen seasonal employees being yelled at when they were trying to go inside to cool down on a hot summer day. It seemed overly cruel and inhumane and I walked away feeling disgusted with the terrible management. I wish we had a Home Depot in Monroe instead. They're more suited to contractors but I prefer them any day over Lowes. read more

We had a patio door installed on 5/20/19 and after spending $2500 we were left with a door that had no lock! I was told it was not sent with the window and the installer would go back and see if they had one, in the meantime he left us with a piece of wood as a "lock". They also left the gate open and I almost had two run away dogs and my one dog made a snack out of the insulation the installers left all over my yard. We called the store and the lady said " they gave you a piece of wood right?" and she would have the lock expedited over night. We waited until Wednesday ( the lock was due to be delivered Tuesday) and called customer service. She made a report and listed it as a safety issue and contacted the store. We heard nothing. I called customer service again on Thursday and she informed me the lock would be installed the first week of JUNE! I said " this is the first I'm hearing of this" she said " the store should've called" I believe Friday we were contacted by the installers and were told the lock would be installed Tuesday, May 28th. Well today is May 28th (8 days after the door was installed) and we just received a call from the installer and was told her could not come out because he is having a roof put on his home and he cannot leave. Now we are scheduled to have it installed tomorrow. It disgusts me that we paid $2500 for a door that we have to wedge a piece of wood into so we can "feel" safe and nobody cares. They take your money and are done with you! read more

I encounter items that are frequently out of stock, even though the website shows them in stock. I've become so frustrated with this that I don't bother with this store anymore. I'd rather drive to Toledo than deal with this nonsense. I bought a lawnmower from this store, and I had a hard time getting them to honor the warranty. I also had some contractor work done, and needed them to return to fix errors. In addition, it seems to take them forever to get something set up. Although the location is convenient, the inept service and lack of items in stock has driven me to shop in other stores. Hopefully a Home Depot or Menards will come to town. read more
