Only go here if you're in a bind. They have a monopoly on hardware stores within 30 minutes of the area. Over priced on 90% of items stocked

Thank you Sherwin- Williams Paint of Bellevue and Omar for all your help in my latest remodel of…read morethree bathrooms, living room and still going on kitchen. Your expertise, patience and vision has my home looking 30 years younger! Selecting paints is an art in itself and you kindly advised me. The whole gang there is A+++. All are so friendly and welcoming. Acknowledging Jessica, Ron, Eric, Ethan, Joe and Mikhail who are also so kind and helpful. Customers come first! You feel it and know you are getting the best paint from a top notch staff. My 3 C's, CARING, COMPETENT AND CONSISTENT. Aloha

We used SW paint for our entire house, interior/exterior, purchased thru Bellevue, WA store. While…read morethe paint did a proper job, we did have an issue with a black exterior latex. Advised then manager of the problem but agreed to wait to see if it resolved itself. Mgr made notes to file on the computer. 1.5 yr later, it had not resolved. Went to the Issaquah store (nearest us) simply to replace the remainder of our paint with one that would resolve the problem (offered initially), only to to be told that one must return to the original store of purchase to resolve. Issaquah SW spoke with JESSICA, Bellevue manager & advised of the issue. She said that the customer (me) had to come INTO the Bellevue store to resolve (20 milesl away)..I got Issaq. to contact again and she said I could call & she would authorize the replacement gallon. I called her immediately on my cell, was on hold 20+ minutes and she never picked up. When I called back & advised her of the issue, I got real ATTITUDE..I AM WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS...YOU NEED TO WAIT...Never did I hear "sorry for the inconvenience, what can I do to make this right?" Old files of the complaint had been deleted but the paint I brought in demonstrates the obvious problem of remaining tacky after 2 years. SHAME ON JESSICA FOR HER LESS THAN STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT APPEARS THAT I WAS AN INCONVENIENCE TO HER ..Regardless of the quality of the product, WE WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ONE THAT DOES NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR TIME.

Nate, Jen, George and Sarah are all outstanding. They are incredibly knowledgeable and even more…read morehelpful. They've helped many times with unusual challenges my job presents. I highly recommend Anderson.

I should take away a star from Anderson Paint, just for closing the store on William Street…read more Anderson's is the only place I buy paint and supplies if I can help it. They carry the best brands: Benjamin Moore, Graham and California Frescoat. If you follow the coverage of paint in Consumer Reports, California was the highest rated brand last year, and Bennie Moore is always close to the top. They can make your paint job last 10 years, rather than the standard five to seven years. The staff knows a lot about paint. They can tell you what kind to use and how to put it on. They'll warn you about problems you might encounter with the preparation and painting, if you can manage to get to the store when they are not too busy and talk to them about your project. They have a great selection of tools and supplies, and everything is well organized. I never end up wandering around wishing I could find the right thing, which does happen at Lowe's. Yes, the paint sells for $30 to $65 and per gallon, but that's what real paint costs. You can get paint for as little as $16 per gallon at Lowe's, but I wouldn't use their paint outdoors; indoors it can probably hold because it doesn't have to stand up to the weather. Anderson's also has a store on Stadium Boulevard, north of Stadium and Liberty, and that's the store I've been using since they closed the downtown store. But I have been into the Washtenaw store a couple of times and the staff is every bit as good as the other store. They did a good job putting together orders for different kinds of paint, including a couple of tough custom matches.

After reading my Consumer Reports, I bought some highly rated Behr paint and painted my bedroom…read more It never dried. The walls stayed tacky, and still are after several months. Then a new version of Consumer Reports came out and said Behr reformulated. Sooo....I vowed not to use it again, but whaddyaknow I had to paint the hallway. This time the paint was like chalk after it dried. I pretty much figured I'd forgotten how to paint. I used to paint several times a year, but it had been awhile. Soo....I headed over to Sherwin Williams and bought a $40 can of paint. Seemed kinda pricey but holy cow what a difference. Only needed one coat and it went on so smooth. The difference was night and day. I also picked up a new paint roller and brushes, the prices on the tools were cheaper then Home Stupid Depot and much better quality. Recently, I had to paint again, and they had paint on sale. The staff was knowledgeable about what primer to put over the previous application and what paint would be best for a top coat. Now, you won't be able to buy a washing machine at the same time, but isn't that the point? Buying paint from a paint store....friggin ingenious.

Daniel assisted me when I had questions about getting paint for my living room wall. When I was finished with my purchase he unexpectedly carried 3 gallons of paint to my car for me! He was very kind and has wonderful manners, and all the above mentioned attributes! I am glad you have someone like Daniel working there! Those statements are in reference to previous interactions there. Additionally, on 06/22/2025 Daniel and Quinn were both very helpful! They are great as a team! Thank you for having them there giving such professional guidance!
