My name is Bob Auxter, of Monroe. I recently bought a John Deere 380 Series Lawnmower Tractor at Leckler's. I was looking for a zero-turn mower, but Jae, our salesman, suggested the JD 380 due to the amount of lawn I mow per week. He was very knowledgeable and patient, answering all questions, and was very thorough in pointing out all the pluses as well as the limitations of this product. He was honest and very professional. That's a rare quality nowadays. When my previous lawnmowers needed replacement, I swore I would never go to a chain store outlet for power equipment ever again. So, having bought two Stihl chain saws from Leckler's previously (I worn out one and replaced recently with a bigger model), and having been very satisfied with those products, Leckler's was my first choice. I was not disappointed. Within hours of having the JD 380 delivered to my home, I broke it in at my mother-in-laws 3 acre+ lawn and was completely satisfied with the maneuverability, the power, the even cut, the comfortable ride, and only burned half a tank of fuel in the process. The maneuverability impressed me the most having owned and operated a zero-turn. The JD 380 matched the zero-turn in every way, you just had to slow down a bit cutting around trees, bushes, flower beds, etc, limiting the amount of trimming to be done later. Pete delivered the product to my home and was very professional and thorough with familiarizing me with the product, and like Jae, offered an incredible amount of know-how tips that you do not find in the Owner's Manual. I am most pleased that I finally went to a bona-fide dealer for power equipment.The professionalism and knowledge of product of the Leckler staff, and the difference in design and user-friendly appointments of the products they sell, definitely have impressed me! I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Leckler's to anyone shopping for any type of power equipment and/or service. I can't say enough about my experience at Leckler's!! This was my first time at the store and I will be returning again for all future yard needs. The associates - Jae, Adam and Rick went above and beyond from the moment I entered the store. They were great at explaining to me all the various products and made me feel very comfortable about the purchases I was making. I entered the store close to closing hours and they took that extra time staying over to assist with getting me financed and again just giving that extra customer service that you will not find at your bigger chained stores. Hands down this is the place to purchase all your items for lawn care. Today my new John Deere riding mower was delivered(free delivery)...by Rick. He was amazing...after spending 45 minutes going over the mower and bagger operations he then proceeded to give me additional pointers on the use of my new machine. I've bought a number of items from Lecklers over the years and their best trait is that you NEVER feel like you are being taken advantage of. Sometimes bad things happen to good equipment as happened to my Stihl blower recently. Adam stepped up and offered me a replacement model at cost. I brought our riding lawnmower for repair. It was a warranty repair. Huskivarna lost the order and 2 months later Leckler basically told them to make us whole. Long story short Leckler's brought me a brand new rider. The owner went over everything he did in making sure the rider was ready to go. We will be a customer for life. read more
