This Lowe's Home Improvement is a chain retail store that sells home-improvement items such as hardware, tools, building supplies, appliances, flooring, window treatments, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, paints, plants, and much more. Lowe's corporation did not treat us well a few years ago, but I recently decided to give this store a visit. My husband and I browsed most of the departments, and they looked to be stocked well with merchandise, but I felt most interested in shopping for kitchen cabinets, countertops, and tile. I thought that this store's styles and colors of wooden cabinet doors were OK, and I got a few ideas for types and colors of quartz and granite countertops. I did not see any floor tile that I liked. I did see a couple of employees in a different department as I was walking around. read more

Lowe's is closer than Home Depot, so they usually get my business by default. The disappointments are adding up, so maybe it's time to drive a little farther. Today it was 1/2" copper pipe and fittings..or the absence of them. All I needed was a short length of copper and a 1/4 turn valve. Neither in stock. Stopped at customer service to have an associate paged to see if there was any of either in the back...got ignored. If you need a lawn ornament they got you covered. Real hardware...you take your chances. read more

They took my broken washer for free. Some young guy always trying to get business was supposed to come get it and ghosted me, and they really accommodated me. 10 stars read more

Employees and management are not trained well. Waiting for $1000 refund for 3-10 days is robbery. Order was canceled for no reason, and no explanation given. read more

I received great customer service on 3/29/2026. Susan worked patiently with me to open a Lowes account in order to save on my tractor purchase. Mason was also extremely helpful with wrapping up the purchase. Because of their commitment to the sale, I decided to add on the bagger. read more

START OFF BY SAYING IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD... may 1,2025 at around 8am I went to Lowe's to get two doors upon having great help with that I was told go to the Pro Desk where I can get a loader. Well get to the pro desk your associate had an awful ass attitude. than I proceeded to ask if I could get a loader for multiple employees to say that's not my job. Blatantly ignored while you had associates behind the pro desk just talking in a circle. When I asked again if someone was coming it was as if I was annoying your associates with my question. If I could give zero stars I would highly. this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. I'll be sure to tell all my contractors and the pro athletes I know on the Steelers plus other teams out here to indefinitely avoid going to this location. GO To HomeDepot Where Customers Come First and Not Last! read more

Would rate a negative, but 1 star is the lowest Worst experience at a Lowe's store! The customer service rep at the pro desk was useless! He kept adding additions even after being told repeatedly not to. Charged for 2 tractors. Entered wrong interest rate, wrong terms for credit card purchase. They made me and my elderly father walk back and forth several times between customer service and pro desk to make this purchase because they didn't know what to do. Where do they find these people??? The ladies at customer service entered the wrong billing address. The first tractor delivered didn't run and was worn out! The ONLY good thing about the experience was the delivery driver who took the original tractor back and delivered another one. It doesn't end there...because of their incompetence, had to call credit card company several times to fix the bill. The manager??? No help at all through all this! I would not recommend this Lowe's to anyone. It's a shame when the employees are incompetent from the top down...no wonder!!! read more

Poor customer service. Tried to return a faucet that was three days over their return date and simply wanted a store credit to purchase a different faucet. The customer service person made zero effort to help. I spend a ton of money at this store and am done. The economy is slowing and they apparently don't care about good customers. Looks like I'm a Home Depot guy from here on out. read more

I like Lowes. Good selection and prices. But the service is awful. On this occasion at this Lowes, I was in the flooring department. In the next row, were three Lowes employees; one on a ladder and two on the floor. In my row, two ladies walked behind me, did something, an alarm went off, they quickly left. The alarm continued. No one came. Then one of the threesome on the row next to me, I mentioned the alarm, he rolled his eyes and kept walking. I gave up. I needed help with an order, went over to the threesome (he had rejoined them) and waited for a break in their Halloween conversation. There was none. And they repositioned themselves to not look at me. So I interrupted asking if one of them could assist me. They told me that the flooring girl should be along shortly. I found her. Just the usual Lowes experience. read more

Patrick at the Pro Desk is exceptional! Not only did he recommend better savings, his service was tremendous. The guy personally helped me load 130 pieces of lumber onto my truck. WHO DOES THAT anymore? Great store! read more

Long time and faithful customers, but today may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. We were shopping for vent-free gas logs, which are listed on the website. We walk in, and were "greeted" by an older sales lady, "What are you looking for?" When I mentioned gas logs she said, "No. we don't sell those here." As I started to tell her that they were on the website, she said (as though English was not my language) "We DO. NOT. SELL. THOSE. HERE." She did say that we could look on the patio if we wished. Well, well, well...guess what was on the shelf? Yep! The very thing she said they DID NOT SELL. And it gets better...we go to check out - another older woman who looked unfamiliar...wasn't able to give us the military discount, stating we "weren't in the system". Mind you, we have been customers for years. After a mildly heated discussion, she said she couldn't go back in the transaction and change anything. In my feeble mind, you could cancel aforementioned transaction and start over, or just ADMIT YOU HAD NO IDEA WTF YOU WERE DOING. Lowe's - ya lost a sale - we left the cart at the register and walked out. Idiot is probably still waiting for us to come back. We'll think twice before shopping at the Monaca store again! read more

Parked at the pro area (picking up mostly lumber). I was told to go to customer service. Drove down to customer service and checked in. Waited for over 25 minutes before going inside and waiting almost 10 minutes to be helped. Then had to drive back down to lumber to get loaded up (my lumber items). Then had to drive down to the garden area to get my fencing items. My email, text, and app all notified me that my order was "ready" for pick up. It was NOT ready for pick up. I was at the store for almost an hour and a half to get all the items in my order. (Andrew and Todd from lumber were extremely helpful). The curbside pickup process is a complete joke!!! Lowes pulled the same crap last time I picked up an online purchase of soil and got the runaround before having to pull over to the garden area for the soil to get loaded up. This process needs to be streamlined better for the customer!!! read more

For reference to my experience, see "Bob's Fridge" on Youtube. Lowe's does not want to help you with anything. I bought a washer and dryer and paid for installation and haul away. The delivery guys showed up with the washer and dryer, brought them into the house, took my washer away and left. They would not take them down to the basement because "it might be difficult". So i had to sit with a washer and dryer in my kitchen until i was able to hire someone to take it down for me. This was an additional cost for me. Then today they sent a second guy to install them. He hooked up the washer and stated that our old dryer was not a gas dryer (it is). All of the hookup equipment that they left with us is exactly the same as what is on the old dryer. Save yourself and shop ANYWHERE else. i will leave a 1-star since that is the lowest you can select. I will never shop there again. read more

Lowe's itself not a good store for helping but today Jake in lumber was a super hero to me he was helpful and understanding Jake gets a five star review but the store itself 3 half the staff is not friendly and the walk past you as if they don't even see you I got to Lowe's literally at 11:00 a.m. and all I need it with some lumber cut thanks to Jake not mad at him but it is now 2:00 p.m. and him just leaving our laws do you know how much work I could have got done at home if somebody would just helped me instead say oh yeah will call somebody I'll be right back in nothing Forget the fact that they are close and convenience locally I rather travel miles before going to another Lowe's unless I'm going to look for J to help me but instead of making excuses for impolite workers just do something about this isn't my 1st bad experience ever time I go for a quick pickup same thing Jake is to good to work there but just maybe if the get more workers like him Lowe's could be a better store to shop in read more

This Lowes provided by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Came to buy some flooring and needed to speak with a store rep. After 30 minutes and having to speak to 6...count em, 6...different employees who all made it someone else's job to assist me, I gave up and left. I could not believe the dismissive attitude of all the associates. I ended up going to Home Depot instead and was helped instantly. Do yourself a favor, shop Home Depot instead. read more

Composite over 8 or so years of visits. Lowe's is my go to store for home and yard stuff. During the spring summer and fall the outdoor section is my favorite. Plants are well maintained; staff has been helpful and friendly. In all the times I have been there I only experienced on staff/service meltdown and that was apparently over a staffing/scheduling error at a peak customer time. All in all, a great store at decent prices. The competition just had a 60 million customer credit card breach.... so I will be staying far away from them for a long while. And we thought the Target 40 million customer breach was bad.... f8 and be there. read more

One of the worst Lowe's ever. Don't go in with questions about anything. Asked if they had light machine oil one guy said he'd find it then disappeared doing other stuff then after waiting 15 mins for him we asked someone else and they were completely rude as if asking them to find something is way above their pay grade. You work at the Lowe's do your job. Unbelievable service, this is why Home Depot will eventually buy out Lowe's completely. read more

I've been shopping at the Monaca store since 2011 and have never had any issues but today I witnessed a middle aged female cashier giving a veteran a hard time over the veteran's discount and was so appalled by her behavior I had to post this review. I personally know someone who witnessed horrific atrocities that changed his life forever - obviously he does not wear a sign to advertise this. The young man I saw today had to justify who he was to a cashier who either has no clue of what being a veteran means or no soul. It was very uncomfortable to witness and for that reason I will avoid this store for the time being. read more

I have been shopping at lowes for years, but recently the service has gone downhill at the Monaca, PA location. I have made several online purchases over the last couple months, and the orders are never ready after I receive an email telling me they are. The people seem confused when you ask them why it's not ready. Two weeks ago they did not even have record of the order, so I took the online confirmation from them and filled the order myself. They did not even offer to help. And then this past Friday I placed another order. I received a confirmation email, and went to the store. After about 15 minutes I found someone to help me, they told me it was ready, and gave me the loading slip. When I handed it to the attendant, they said it is not ready, and they just got the order right now. I went to find someone to help me, and the supervisor said he would get the manager, and they would somehow compensate me for all of my issues. When the Manager finally came, I explained all of my issues and then she called someone on the phone. When she ended her telephone conversation, she said to me I apologize your order was messed up, and walked away. That was it? She pretty much said she could care less about my business. Terrible service, you should find somewhere else to shop, read more

I am so disappointed in Lowe's. The only professional, pleasant employees I met were at the service desk. Once a purchase is completed, service goes straight to Hell. A new oven was purchased for my disabled aunt. I am trying to schedule installation and need to be there as my aunt is not able to communicate effectively. I live two hours away and cannot get the installation department to answer the phone. One rude person did call me and said I would have to go to my aunts house everyday this week and they would call me when they were on their way. This is such terrible service. I implore everyone to use Home Depot, as they seem more customer centered and more professional. read more

The customer service at this store has always been poor, but today was absolutely awful. The gentleman in the flooring section acted like he couldn't be bothered and even walked away while I was still asking questions. When I asked to see his manager he told me "I am the manager". I had to then ask again to see his manager and I stood waiting for 10 minutes with nobody appearing. I finally left and went to the Robinson lowes. This is not the first time I have had a poor experience at this store. All departments always act like any questions are a bother. The cashiers don't make eye contact and are unfriendly. If you have the time I highly recommend driving to Robinson Lowes. Their customer service and willingness to spend time explaining processes is worth the drive. read more

Terrible curbside service. We pulled in no one answered the phone number they posted to call so we had to go in. Then after giving our info we waited 1hour and 30 minutes for them to bring it out to us. I had even called the day before to arrange pick up.... So Frustrated!! We will definitely be using the Steubenville Ohio Lowes for ALL of our future orders. They have a much better set up for curbside pick up and it has always gone smoothly there. read more

This Lowes is close to my house and has helpful staff. Except order online and pick up in store or returns always has a long line and the people are so slow, they need to have an extra staff member at the help desk. I recently purchased a refrigerator from Lowes. I measured prior to going into Lowes to make sure the refrigerator would fit in the area that my current one did. I knew the refrigerator that I wanted as I had checked it out prior to going to the Lowes in Monaca. The gentleman was very helpful at the store. I got a call on the day prior to delivery which was the day after I purchased the refrigerator. I was told that my refrigerator would arrive between 7:30 -10 am and I would receive a call the morning of the delivery to let me know the approximate time. I received a call a little after 7 am and was told they would be at my house between 7:30 - 9:30 am. They arrived at about 7:35 am. The gentleman Mike and Gary came in and accessed the measurements to make sure that the refrigerator would fit. Once they measured , they told me it would be a tight fit. I said that the other refrigerator fit. They showed me that my current refrigerator that also was purchased at Lowes had numerous scratches from the previous delivery. I had never noticed this before, but therr were some serious scratches. I guess I had noticed as the refrigerator was black. I was very concerned as the new refrigerator was stainless steel. The bottom line here is that Gary and Mike, two veterans went above and beyond the call. I told them how much I wanted this refrigerator and they made it happen. From going through another door way, to moving a big hutch in the way, to taking off doors from the old appliance to bring in the new appliance, they made it work. Gary and Mike are truly what great customer service is about! In this day and age, few go above and beyond. This is who these gentlemen really are. Hard working, kind human beings! I can't thank them enough for making this unexpected purchase, truly a pleasure. Once again thank you to Gary and Mike for giving the best customer service I have ever received!! read more

The owner of the house next to us just had it resided by Lowes. First off, Lowes delivered the material and placed it in our yard, okay not that big of a deal we didn't mind since it wasn't going to be permanently there and figured it would be fully cleaned up once finished. A few days later I got a phone call from my husband saying that the contractors wete there working and they were laying material against his vehicle! Now, who in their right mind would do that?!?!?!? So, after work I was pulling down our road to park in my driveway and they had it blocked off! The next day they had their ladder in our driveway and nails ALL OVER my drive way and through our yard, we have 2 dogs who run all the time, if they get a nail stuck in them or I get a nail pierced through my tire Lowes will be paying for damages! Through this whole endeavour they kept our yard a mess, at first they didn't clean up their garbage, but then they made it look like they cleaned up their garbage, however they threw it in our empty trash cans with out a bag, which now has maggots all through it, there are still nails in my driveway and in our yard! I would NEVER go to Lowes for siding installation. I found out that these men were subcontracted through Lowes, they technically aren't Lowes employees! I can't believe a large company who would want to strive on customer satisfaction contracts these jobs out to people who have no respect for other's properties and leaves their job unfinished! As I mentioned we still have the material trash in our yard, nails in our driveway/yard and their rotting garbage in our garbage cans with no bags! I hope someone from Lowes sees this, because they conveniently don't have a place to submit a review of work performed by them on their website. read more
