This is regarding a humidifier that I ordered through the Lowes app. I ordered through the app because I am a single mother with a severely disabled child who is sick at the moment. This is what has followed. I placed a same-day delivery order on Sunday May 3rd. I was sent text messages throughout the day that it would be delivered that day even to the point that it was out for delivery. At 7:40 PM, I was notified that no, it wasn't out for delivery and that it was in fact delayed all of the sudden, but they were working on it. I tried calling the Lowe's at Plano West (where I placed the order) two different times- both times put on hold and stayed on hold until after they closed. Then when I tried to call back, nobody answered...which we all know was done on purpose. On Monday I tried calling customer service to find out where the product was. They ultimately were of no help at all. They could do nothing. They also told me to go up to the Plano West store where I could possibly pick the product up if one was in stock. I went up to the Plano West store and was told at that time that no, in fact the product was at the Lewisville store. I was told by the manager that he would look into it and call me back, which he never did. Why it was at the Lewisville store and why the manager did not call me back, I have no clue. The next day I tried calling the Lewisville store and I don't know who I spoke with because I've spoken to so many people at this point and was told that there is a third-party that actually makes the deliveries that they had picked the product up, but they had not delivered the product and they don't know where the product was. I was also told that I could not cancel the order for a refund. Nor could I pick another one of the same unit they had in stock at that store. So now I have a sick kid, I have no product, no refund, nobody that could help me and was told to call back the next day. I called back the next day and asked for the manager and was told that that manager was gone that I needed to call back the next day, which is what I did. I called the next day and I was told that that manager is not in the office. Today is now Thursday. I was able to finally speak with the manager at the Lewisville store who I will mention by name as he has been literally the only person with any competence to be able to handle this situation. Darren. Thankfully, he did call back and leave me a VM because I am at work. He said he was able to discount the unit because of the inconvenience and I could either come pick the unit up or he would deliver the unit to me personally. He said for me to call back. I called back and whoever it was that I spoke to said that he wasn't there and that I needed to call back tomorrow. So here we are once again no product no refund they can't tell me where it is they don't know what to do about it nor do they care. Yes I could go up there and pick it up but because it's at the Lewisville store it's 30 minutes away. I work full-time and again I am a single mother of a severely disabled child. I don't have the time to do that. My frustration level has peaked. I know that Lowe's ultimately does not care whether or not I shop there again or not. But I don't care. This level of incompetence is absurd. I will never ever EVER shop at Lowe's ever again. read more

Since we moved in our home in 1991, every replacement of major appliances have come from the Lowe's at Stemmons and Valley Ridge in Lewisville. We had very good service until this time. Our dishwasher, installed in 2004, finally broke down. On Dec. 10, 2025, we went to Lowe's and talked to Randy. We asked Randy if the Whirlpool dishwasher was in stock on the premises. Randy looked it up and said they did have it in stock. Apparently this dishwasher was sold to someone else and ours was reordered from the warehouse. They did not get it installed until 1/6/2026. That is unacceptable. I assure you, if we need a new major appliance, we will not go to Lowe's. I came back to say our installer, Colby, was wonderful. He was a bright spot in all of this. read more

May2023: 4: I have shopped here on several occasions and found that it is a decent store with decent inventory for things that you might be needing for that special project. I searched the lawn and garden area today for garden plants and pots. I found a few items that are seemingly different colors and types of plants. The workers were not very helpful nor available, so still at 4. Oct2019: 4 : Stopped and to grab some wire for the house and some batteries. I came by this location again today to look for some items that I needed in the yard and around the house. I also checked on the price of some of the microwaves that we needed to replace the one that's been acting a little stupid in our house. Had a difficult time trying to find someone in the area as there was no one available in the morning hour. But self checkout line was pretty fast and check out was easy upon leaving the store with the items I needed. Update: I needed a microwave today and plumbing help. We have been going to Lewisville Lowe's for years. We have purchased several kitchen appliances from them in the past. The selection is better then other competitors stores and several brands to choose from. The employees that we have dealt with don't seem as knowledgeable as other stores. We have used Lowe's for exterior doors and I will never use their contractors because it was a nightmare. The doors were good but installation company was horrible. So I was excited to learn that Lowes offers DIY free workshops. So I signed up for the install a cabinet workshop. I was not greeted when I walked in nor was I given a "have a nice day" on my way out! I showed up and I spoke to Lisa, on older woman, at the register about where I should go for the workshop and she said "you need to go talk to customer service." Not super friendly but I understand, it's early in the morning. So then I walk over to customer service and I speak to Liz, who looked at me very confused when I asked her about the DIY class going on today. She told me "you need to go to the cabinet area." I walked in circles around the "cabinet area" thinking someone would show up or an employee would pass by, considering I just talked to Liz in customer service and would think she would call someone to the "cabinet area." After a while of waiting and walking around, no one came to the "cabinet area" and I literally couldn't find anyone to help me again. I'll just stick to YouTube and Home Depot. I unfortunately shop this Lowe's consistently and on average spend around $5 - $10 K each year doing projects. I bought 40 bags of 80 pound mortar mix and was never asked if I needed help. I ended up loading every bit of it by myself. In addition, I had a worker come by and asked me if I was going to be much longer because he wanted to bring the forklift down and put away a product. Additionally, I bought 80 cinderblocks and never was asked if I needed help and I loaded them all by myself. I bought a 30 foot extension ladder and had to beg someone to help me get it out and then they left me to load it by myself. Hands-down, this is the worst customer service place out of any of the home improvement stores. Hoping Home Depot offers 5% on their credit card soon. read more

On the 17th I purchased a refrigerator it was on sale had $100 off and I was supposed to receive 5% off as well for using my Lowe's card. Unfortunately that did not happen. I called and spoke to somebody about that and I was told to bring the receipt up to the store and they would go ahead and do the 5% off. On the 19th the refrigerator was installed at my home. I went with the receipt that evening around 4 o'clock to get the 5% that was not put on corrected. They told me that they do not ever give 5% off with other discounts. They said that they were not going to do the discount because I received $100 off I then read for them that I had been told I would get the discount by two different people. If they couldn't do the discount, I did not want it on the Lowe's card because it made no sense to put it on the Lowe's card, if I was not receiving a discount, they called a supervisor who also said we never do that. I then found in my phone because it was not myself that made the purchase but my partner that part of it was the hundred dollars plus the 5% so originally she was only gonna do the 5% off of just the price of the refrigerator after the hundred dollar discount not the total purchase the system would not let her do it off adjust that it made it do the whole purchase she then goes well whatever just give it to him I was treated unfairly I was treated like I was trying to steal. I went to get something that was legally mine by the companies guidelines and advertisement and I was meant to feel like a thief. I've shopped at Lowe's for years. I've never been treated badly. I do not write reviews and I'm gonna write as many as I can about this because I am offended and they need to retrain that team especially the supervisor because she stated they never do it. I showed them that they did it and it was in the ad and she still was upset. I was getting the 5% back if I knew I was gonna be treated that way I could've put it on a different credit card and Lowe's would've paid more than 5% in fees. read more

Two things. I purchased a storm door years ago and the door handle mechanism was not functioning. Lowes offered to order the broken part at no cost to me. Laura at Millwork dept treated me like a valued customer, did what she promised to do and was so helpful and pleasant. I usually go to Lowes and have pretty good service, tonight there was zero service. They called two times for service in electrical an no one came. I walked around looking for an employee to assist us and couldn't find anyone. There were several customers in the store and no one to help. I saw 3 people standing around customer service hanging out. 1 employee walking around with AirPods in as he strolled to customer service. Really sad because I normally prefer Lowes to their competitor. The competitor tonight had several employees working and it took less than two minutes to ask my questions about my purchase. By far one of my best visits! I initially came in for a bag of dirt and ended up leaving with a car full of plants and multiple bags of dirt! Lisa greeted me & even recommended mums to pick out that would last longer and her manager Richard came out later and helped me find a price for a rug when I asked him. When it came time to check out, Lynn C. was very knowledgeable and made sure I got the correct discounts on my clearance items along with letting me know about other products on sale. Once Davon's register was empty, he came over to help Lynn C. bag and load my bags of dirt and plants and made sure to ask how I preferred to have them arranged in my car which was a nice touch because I'm particular about my plants being properly placed so they don't fall over during transport. This Lowe's has gone above and beyond my expectations and will be my first choice for my home improvement needs. read more

although you can find almost anything you may need, you can't find any help. I typically shop Lowe's Lewisville. Went to store today 5/21 to buy fertilizer and top soil. I also found a few items in store that I needed as well. went back to Lawn & Garden and the line was crazy long. The only cashier kept calling for backup and no one came initially. she called at least 3 times that I know of. No help showed. With at least 12 customers before me, I made the decision to leave and go across the street to Home Depot. I got what I needed and was on my way home in a jiffy. They had 2 cashiers in the Lawn area. Customer service is a thing of the past. I realize that my $190 purchase today is not going to make Lowe's broke, but when you are competing for the almighty dollar you are going to lose with poor service. read more

I usually shop at Lowe's Highland Village, but went to Lowes Lewisville yesterday to search for a 4' X 4' piece of 3/4" MDF. They didn't have it so I went to the "Lumber Desk" where there were 4 employees standing around talking. I asked if one of them could cut a 4 X 8 sheet for me and one of the guys said, I'll get someone to do it. He paged twice and I waited. Then I went back up to the desk - again 4 employees standing around. The same guy said, "No one showed up? I'll look" - so he wandered around for several minutes, while I waited again, and found no one. He said "I can't cut it because I'm on light duty due to a shoulder injury. " So I finally left and went to Home Depot where a guy found, cut it and I was one my way in minutes. I believe that customer service "tone" starts at the top. This Lowes is NOT well run. read more

I just had a surprisingly great experience. Within the past two days I've had some rather large size branches fall from my pecan tree. I contemplated in going to a pawn shop, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware since these options were closer. As I was driving to the lawn shop first, I remembered hearing about how Lowe's is has better prices than Home Depot. Lowe's however was the Furthest from my home but I figured I should give it a try and also buy a chainsaw hat was not used and brand new. 15 mins later I entered the Lowe's and started shuffling my head looking for the home & garden section so I could locate the chainsaws. Within seconds of walking in and shuffling my head, I heard a voice welcome me and ask if their was anything I needed help with. My first reaction was that I was ok thank you. I then noticed the smile and genuine concern on the employees face. I then proceeded to ask him where the chainsaws were. He dropped the pallets and carts he was working with immediately and started walking me over to the isle. I was surprised and very appreciative. I didn't see that coming. I began to open up and explain to him my issue about the tree and how being a new father I wanted to save some money. I told him I was looking into a electric instead of a gas powered chainsaw. He gave me his honest opinion without passing judgment on me. I could tell he really cared and was not trying to just sell me on the most expensive unit. Within 5 min of takin about chainsaws another associate came by and started looking up best deals as the associate David had asked him to do. It was hard to convince me and he also explained the return policy. Come to find out the associate David was the STORE MANAGER! I was shocked! The store manager took time to help me? Wow. He never boasted his position or even acted as if he was to big to help me. He didn't boast or act as if he was better than anyone. He simply just helped. Store manager David needs some recognition! I have came across many managers who delegated customers and some that boasted and trotted the store as they were too good to assist customers. Not with David. He had great attitude, respect, great customer service, and great integrity. It was no surprise other employees genuinely respected him and all said hello to him. His leadership definitely transpired to his employees. Everyone had a great attitude and was friendly. Very contagious. This type of store mentality always starts from the top. If you have a great leader you have a great store! I definitely recommend Lowe's over Home Depot! I have never received this type of service at Home Depot! Most especially this Lowe's! Thank you Store Manager David and the Lowe's team for making my chainsaw buying experience a great one. I truly had to share this. I would encourage everyone to give them a try! Ordered a grill for curbside pickup with NO assembly since an assembled grill would not fit in my truck. 30 grills were listed in stock on website. When arrived to pick up grill, only assembled grills were available. Would NOT process refund on site without a 30 minute wait. Both customer service AND MANAGER were not willing to work with us and provided NO return receipt. I came from Tulsa to visit my son and give him the grill as a present. From tools to appliances, garden center to lumber yard Lowe's has everything the amateur handyman could want and even most the professional needs. They have a knowledgable and helpful staff that help me prepare for my home repairs and debacles. (I can't be sucessful at *all* of them.) Lowe's is one of those stores where I can wander forever. They always seem to have plenty of things I didn't come in needing. By the end of the visit, I come up with a good reason I must have it though. After all, the right tool for the right job... Endless aisles of home improvement products, a large garden center, and a very helpful staff are combined to make Lowe's my favorite of the superstore variety. They lack the local flair and neighborhood familiarity of the local hardware store, but they are a great alternative. Especially when you need a diverse list of items. read more

Ordered a new fridge via Lowes.com. The Lewisville store was responsible for the delivery. It should have been delivered between 8 am and 12 pm. At 12:15 pm, after no contact from anyone, I try to reach the store per order details. Phone just rings and rings. 16 minutes later, unknown male in customer service answers. Says delivery is behind, may be another hour or two, not sure. He was not helpful at all. Asked for the store manager and after being placed on a silent hold with no answer, I call from my work cell phone because a manager had not picked up after 30 minutes. My second phone call is answered, even though I'm still on hold on the other line. 2nd guy that answers, Jake, says he will try to get a manager. I get a supervisor, Wanda, not a manager. She states she will find out what is going on for me. Total time on hold in trying to resolve this problem was 40 minutes. Main Lowe's customer service, via chat, says they cannot help, all handled at local store level. Wanda did call back at 1 pm and said delivery would be there in an hour. She then offers me a 10% refund for the delay. 2 pm hits and still no delivery. 2:30 pm, phone call from driver, "Be there in 45 minutes." 3:30 pm, no delivery. Call driver who answers and thinks it is funny that I'm upset. No estimation of when they will arrive. Called store back and was told by another supervisor, David Hastings, that there is very little he can do. Out of the store's control. Lowe's order, Lowe's took my money, Lowe's delivery truck, but nothing they can do. He keeps me on hold while he tries to reach delivery company. After 15 minutes, I'm told they will arrive in 35 minutes, so approximately 5 pm. He also tells me the new CEO of Lowe's decided to outsource deliveries and since doing so two years ago, it's been one problem after another. No one higher up in Lowe's cares. David then gives me another 30% refund because of all the issues. 5:30 pm, delivery team finally arrives. By 6 pm, they are leaving my house with the new fridge because it is faulty. Leaking water from inside the fridge. The delivery driver tried to convince me to keep it and to call the local store to have them send me a new one. What a joke! So, if you purchase anything from Lowes.com to be delivered, good luck because 1) Lowes.com will take your money but will not care about the missing delivery, 2) they use a 3rd party company who is neither punctual or caring, and 3) no one at Lowe's cares about their customers. My entire day was wasted, stuck in my house, waiting for the item I purchased to be delivered. After an hour waiting in the store for David, Asst. Store Manager, I got a full refund and nothing more. I immediately tore up my Lowe's credit card and will not longer patronize Lowe's. read more
