Instead: * The dryer was brand-new, but it arrived damaged, which is unacceptable for a new appliance. Additionally, I purchased accessories on November 8, and when I returned on November 10 to add the Protection Plan, the Lowe's employee assured me that everything I purchased -- including the accessories -- would be covered. Now my claim was denied because they say the accessories "were not covered on the date of loss," which completely contradicts what I was originally told. If I had received the correct information at the beginning, I would have purchased the plan the same day. This situation shows: * The dryer arrived damaged * I was given incorrect information about my Protection Plan * My claim was denied based on that misinformation I trusted Lowe's, and instead I ended up with damaged product, plus a denied claim due to their mistake. I purchased a 2' ceiling fan-downrod in cash because I had forgotten my wallet and had just enough to avoid going back to my house and coming back again. Unfortunately, I miss-placed the receipt and needed a three footer for my fan so I brought it back to switch it out figuring it would be easy. Good old Lowe's never seems to disappoint with how much they could give a crap about their customers. Before I could get three words out the lady asked me if I had the receipt I replied "no unfortunately I lost it" and I just needed to replace it with a three footer instead of the two' still in its packaging. She said too bad so sad and provided no recourse whatsoever. I was literally getting the same exact piece just a foot longer and wanted to pay the difference. I purchased a $3000 refrigerator at the beginning of the year and it was missing one of the ice cube scoopers of which Lowe's has no help on that either(literally a 5$ item). I bought a sander Dewalt brand earlier this year. On their website it says they are happy to transfer it from one store to another But when I called three or four different stores to see if anyone could help me, they immediately said no or that I could pay $99 to have it shipped(the same amount of the item I was purchasing!)Lowe's has failed at every stage and couldn't care less about their customers. I frequently come to this Lowes' to shop for plants such as herbs, and flowers, and have never encountered pests such as white flies, which has happened to me on plants from other stores. They have a very nice variety, and plants are well taken care of. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. The store is very well organized and clean. I highly recommend it. Super standard location with all the items that you'd expect. We stopped in here to look for a new lock mechanism for our sliding glass door. It's getting old and needs to be replaced before it falls apart. The store set-up is like most of its sister locations, which makes navigating the aisles very easy. They have spring / summer items out now with gazebos and porch / patio seating options now upfront replacing holiday items. I like to peek through the seasonal options to see what's new and exciting. We opted for self checkout on the item we purchased, and it was easy to do and we were on our way in no time. Store is clean. There were a few customers not wearing masks, or not wearing them properly, and staff wasn't saying anything, so heads up there. You may want to keep your distance or wait to go here. Overall: A Had what we expected and the store was clean, but employees weren't enforcing masks and a few customers weren't adhering, so that was a bummer. read more

Order patio covers online for delivery. They delivered to wrong house. The picture was not even our house, they couldn't find where they delivered it to. Numerous phone calls to Lowes with no resolve. We get a gift card in the mail for 1 cent, not the amount of the patio furniture covers. Called and it was improperly refunded. We were told to go to poinciana store to get a refund. Go there and they say they cant do anything, that we need to contact the Lowes in the Loop. We call the Loop and they say they cant do anything, that we need to contact Poinciana. Here we are with NO ONE who can do anything and no one on the main number can figure anything out. We paid Lowe's to install flooring in our bathroom. Lowe's disconnected and removed the toilet to install the flooring and left the toilet disconnected and away from the original location. We called to get the toilet placed back and connected. Lowe's said that we would have to hire a plumber to re- install the toilet. Lowe's didn't tell us that we had to pay to have the toilet re- installed, that they removed to install flooring. The plumber's quote to reinstall the toilet is very expensive. Lowe's rebate deal is a FRAUD!!! I purchased a John Deere which cost about $2,300. It came with a $200 rebate so I went with this item. I filled out the rebate and did what was required of me for the rebate. Well it has been about a year with going back-and -forth with Lowe's and still no rebate. I have been calling and trying to do things in honor and all I have gotten from them I arrogant behavior. It seems like they have even blocked my number because when I call from my number I automatically go to hold which eventually hangs up... very frustrating. I went there and they saw in their computer that I was approved for the rebate and they could not help me. I am more than frustrated with Lowe's; it seems like they got their money so they really don't care about helping me. Local mom and pop companies look more appealing to me going forward. read more

We were able to get help from an employee when we needed assistance, and checkout went rather smoothly. However, I am removing a start to what would have been a 5 star review if the two employees who were standing and talking (I don't know if either one was in charge of the self checkout area) instead of taking it upon themselves to jump in when it was clear the only other cashier was having technical difficulties with her register. The line had grown quite a bit, and she finally looked up at the other two and asked if either of them wanted to work today. Had the item in stock at the time. 6 hours later after no response and the app saying it was still processing I decided to go to the store and see what's up. Was told it was still processing. Store closed in 30 mins so we asked for someone to look into it. A manager got involved and said hold on we're bringing it up now. Then they said they didn't have it and instead of apologizing for wasting my time and gas the manager of all people tried shifting blame to me saying that at the time of the order there was limited stock. He failed to even acknowledge the fact that there was stock when I placed the order, they had 6 hours to tell me the item was out of stock if it truly was, and that 30 mins proper to closing they still showed it at in process. Went to return some light bulbs. First customer service woman Martha told us the receipt and item dont match. When asked why she got visibly irritated and walked away to get someone else. The next person was Cheyenne and she was trying to help us and explain why its not matching the receipt. We explained that this was bought at self checkout and if they could check the cameras then the "ASL" as they kept referring to her, Ama, put her hands up and said checking cameras would take too long and to come back another day due to the hurricane and walked away. We are aware there is a hurricane coming.. which is why we are preparing as well as others. Maybe light bulbs arent deemed an emergency to Ama, but to us it is. Don't waste your time -- go to Home Depot or any other home improvement store in the area. This location is chronically understaffed; most departments don't have associates to help with anything. They have two groups of four self checkouts, each manned by one associate, and they can't even be bothered to open the second group, causing a long line. They operate a single cashier checkout line on the opposite side of the store, which is for the industrial customers. The few associates that are present are disinterested, rude, and undertrained. Any shopping at this location will take at least two to three times the amount of time that you're expecting. read more

This store is always well kept with plenty of cashiers and very cute house hardware. An associate recently was beyond helpful. Before we even got the chance to ask for help in locating shower knobs a gentleman came up and offered his assistance. He walked us through the options and found everything we needed. I asked his name because I was beyond impressed by his service. His name was Eric Blake in the plumbing section. Purchased a washer and dryer from Lowe's on Osceola Parkway (near The Loop). The sales associate that took care of us told me there's a $50 rebate (in form of Lowes gift card) for each item for a total of $100. When I got home I realized they did not include the rebate details. I went back to the store to get the form, they told me the appliances I purchased were not covered. I spoke to a manager and he apologized for the inconvenience and told me he could offer me a 10-15% discount off my next purchase thinking that would appease me. So next time I buy light bulbs maybe I'll save a $1. Lesson learned, make sure you read the fine print and don't trust what the sales associate tells you. read more

The manager Sandra was very rude and unprofessional in her conduct when trying to explain my situation for an order the store messed up on. I have spent months and hours in this store or on the phone trying to correct the issue to only have false promises and further delays. Darryl in tiles ... online shows this location has 47 tiles remaining, Darryl proceeds to tell him 'he knows every item in the section and regardless there are none' I then went to customer service -- explained I need 4 (to complete my bathroom project)... she looks at the store inventory and tells me there are 49!!! Customer service rep has to defer to a manager . Manager verifies there are 49.. I explained what Darryl in tiles said... now she has a different attitude. Now she has to look because there might not be any!! Manager returned to tell me, all 49 tiles are broken. However the Sand Lake stores shows 53 in stock. WTF.. because I can often be a smart ass I replied 'well hummm it's probably the same issue right?? The tiles are broken' Should have seen her face, she did not what you say! Hahaha read more

Consciously present, pleasant interaction. A unicorn in present day customer service... I I believe it is due to what it takes, to feel these shoes. An employee that strives to embody these traits fluidly, even when it doesn't suit them. In any line of work that is laden with customer service and customer satisfaction, you, the employee, aren't always going to be able to take an easy route. As somebody who has worked in the service industry, I believe customer service consists of this; being politely present, consciously at hand for assisting client/customers needs. This isn't an easy feat in today's fast tracked society. Most of us our on auto pilot due to the fact that we are always three steps ahead of ourselves. We are checking off that internal to do list that we carry in our minds, and therefore what is actually at the forefront, gets moved to the back burner OK interactions in our daily lives. I went through the trouble of explaining my views on this due to this particular change location exemplifying fantastic customer service. I ran into this location about five minutes before they were about to close. An employee who worked in the paint department stopped kindly to answer my questions that I had about painting cabinets, & did not rush me in the least. If that was an awesome enough, when I went to go check out, I was having some issues with a gallon of paint I was buying that was on clearance. It was $30 off the original price and it was not scanning. Instead of the usual huffing and puffing that one would expect from an employee that is dying to get off their feet, get out of work, I received, once again, fantastic embodiment of what I believe great customer services. The young man called over his manager, who apologized for the delay in my check out, and quite succinctly manually fixed the price in the machine that I was self scanning on. As I grab my receipt, they once again apologize for the inconvenience, even though they're absolutely was none, it was quite the opposite. And wished me a great evening. Thank you to all the evening employees at this location for putting customer service first, smiles on your faces, and always being there to hopefully guide us in any home-improvement needs or questions. October 26th at 12:45 at the self check out Spanish girl with hoop earrings and curly hair. Who ties it back in a ponytail is the most rude person I've ever met in my life. I explain to her that my daughter was having a baby and I needed to check out as soon as possible and she made it as lengthy as possible. Walked away helped three other customers in the time that I asked her to help check me out because the computer wasn't working correctly.I really hope she gets fired we dont need people who dont like there job !! I placed an on-line order with this Lowe's for some Polycarbonate window coverings, my plywood from last year had gone bad in storage. The order was placed with the store, fully paid for including delivery. The date of delivery they called and told me "They could not find my merchandise". Dorian is now two days from land fall and this store has placed my family in jeopardy by not having the supplies they promised would be delivered by today. This was our first time entering this particular Lowes and we were pleasantly surprised with how accommodating and exponential our customer service was. Earlier this month, I came to this establishment in need of a refrigerator, but had no idea where to start. I was then greeted by Faizan who helped us every step of the way. He walked us through the different options and after listening to the features and price point we had in mind he quickly identified the perfect appliance for us. Upon time of delivery, the appliance got damaged in the delivery vehicle (which is no fault of Lowes or the contractors carrying it). When I informed Lowes of the situation, Faizan went above and beyond to assist us in making sure another refrigerator was delivered to us immediately and worked with management to further solve our issue. It is this type of above-and-beyond customer service that gained me as a loyal customer and reflects on the company as a whole. I will definitely choose this Lowes again for future home good needs. read more
