    Let me start saying that we had a first good impression when we were at the store. We ended up…read morepurchasing all our outdoor furniture with them. We have all the furniture under a covered lanai and within 6 months enjoying our patio, we noticed the cushions' covers started discoloring. Our navy blue covers started changing into white. When I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty, I was told that she did not have any power to do anything, but instead gave me the name and phone number from the owner named Jhonny, who is based in Miami. When I spoke to Jhonny, his answer to the issue was: " I do not recommend buying the navy blue color covers because they always have the discoloration problem". Great answer from the owner, maybe they should had told me that at the store when I bought it. I asked for new covers, as my furniture were not only 6 months old, but his customer service answer was: " please read your bill again, as cushions' covers are not part of the warranty. I can sell you new ones a discounted price". We have recommend this store to 2 other friends, who had the same issue and when I mentioned it to Jhonny, his answer was: "have them calling me, not the store". I told him I would not recommend his business to anyone, due to quality of his product and TERRIBLE customer service. It seemed like he did not care about it. Conclusion: Stay AWAY from this place!!!

It was a significant purchase, so I wanted to check out some styles in store before I bought. I found Patio Furniture Emporium on google, so I thought I'd check them out. The hours posted online showed them being open until 7pm. I drove to the location, and when I got there the store was dark. A small sign on the door said "Closed today, call XXX-XXX-XXXX with questions." I figured it might be a one time thing, so I figured I'd try again tonight. I drove to the location again and found the same sign today. At this point, I was frustrated that a reputable establishment with such an online presence was conducting business in such a way. I called the phone number on the sign and a man picked up. I said that I have visited twice in the past two days to buy some furniture and that I had found the sign in the door, and I asked when he would be open again. He immediately called me a liar for saying I had seen the sign twice and confirmed he'd be in the office tomorrow. I assured him that I was there, and he again insisted that I was lying. I promptly told him that I would no longer be looking to purchase and that he had lost my business. He proceeded to hang up on me. I understand personal issues come up, but it is clear this is just how this man runs his business. In addition, there was 0 effort for service recovery when I called. I would recommend staying far away, and this kind of behavior over the phone will translate to the customer service you receive when working with them.

    In April 2022, I hired Elementar Outdoor for a $45,568.11 outdoor installation project, including a…read morepergola. The contract included a 1-year labor warranty. Less than a year after installation, the pergola showed severe water accumulation, structural warping, and leakage. A professional inspection (March 2025) confirmed mechanical damage and deterioration, recommending immediate replacement. When contacted, the company admitted in writing that the material used is no longer recommended and was substituted without a signed Change Order -- a clear breach of contract. Despite acknowledging the issue and that the product failed within the warranty period, they refused to repair or replace unless I paid again. This violates: * Breach of Contract; * Breach of Warranty; * Florida Statute § 501.201 (FDUTPA - deceptive and unfair practices); * Implied Warranty of Fitness for Purpose (UCC § 2-315). I sent a formal Demand Letter on May 21, 2025, allowing 10 business days for a solution. The company did not respond. I am now proceeding with legal action to recover $21,452.89 related to the pergola, plus court costs and attorney's fees. I am filing this complaint to warn other homeowners. Be cautious before trusting this company's material claims, installation standards, and warranty support.

    We trusted them with our backyard make over, pool, turf, travertine, landscaping.... It took them 2…read moreyears and a lot of stress and back and forth on our side. They made so many mistakes that caused us long delays. The only good thing about them is the pool company they work with and a few people we worked with along the way who of course left the company. They paint this beautiful picture for you and they sweet talk you every time there is an issue. We even had to work with Orange county's zoning department ourselves and set up meetings with them. Elementar people didn't even know what the rules were. Zoning dept. people were super helpful and fair and resolved our issues pretty easily. We picked our material early in the project and a year and a half passed waiting for permits and for them to get ready. The permit finally came, and of course material wasn't ready. We had to wait months for the travertine to come. They had told us they'd take care of our AC getting moved to another part of our backyard and when the time came, they didn't so we had to pay out of pocket for that. Then delays and delays and one of the last ones was absolutely ridiculous. They ran out of tiles in the middle of doing the pool, so we had more delays and then when the tiles came, they were the wrong tiles. I had to go back and forth with them and show them the images they'd uploaded on the app they supposedly use for documents and updates on the project to show them they were wrong. So we had to wait another 2 weeks for the tiles to get here. Also, this app I mentioned is a joke. Not the app itself but them using it. They told us in the beginning they'd upload videos and schedules and daily progress but NOTHING was ever on there besides remaining of our balance. Oh and the schedule which kept changing every week and they finally just deleted it completely because they couldn't stick to it. We asked for landscaping ideas over 10 times and they kept bragging about how they do 3D design and we can change it however many times if we weren't happy. We never got any actual design, we ended up just verbally telling the guy what we wanted. We wanted to add an outdoor kitchen to the project. They knew that we wanted to see how things go with everything else and then decide on the kitchen. We asked them to add it before the end of last year and was supposed to happen at the same price they'd quoted us originally. Of course they delayed that as well and then they came back and quoted us over double the original quote. They absolutely butchered our turf. The area is not even that big but they used 2 pieces in both sides and you can easily see the seam. On one side the turf got burnt by the sun reflecting off of our windows which they, supposedly the experts, never mentioned could happen. They replaced it with a completely different turf that wasn't even the same height. I had to fight to get the same turf and of course that took forever and still looks weird with the seam and a different color. We were supposed to get a fire feature over our fountain and at the end they said oh no we didn't know you didn't have natural gas and we can't make it work. They screwed up the tiles on our pool steps and even though I had told them to fix it many times, they didn't do it at the end because of their ridiculous turn over and lack of communication. Their mistakes and unprofessionalism caused us countless delays and the minute they finished each stage I'd get these harassing phone calls from them to make the payments. Not even had the decency to acknowledge they held on to 50% of the whole cost of the project which was a huge amount for over year and a half without moving a finger. Now that the project is done, they're holding the warranty documents hostage because they claim there was a random invoice that wasn't paid. Even though the co owner himself had told me over the phone what the final balance was and we paid that exact amount. If you want peace of mind and a job done professionally and in a timely manner, I would not recommend Elementar at all!

About a week into owning the couch, we had to have them come and repair a piece of fabric that was torn from the factory. They came and took care of that by replacing a whole piece of fabric on the back of the sofa. Not perfect, but much better. About 2 months after owning the couch (beige) we noticed that the places we sat all the time were starting to get dark. I do on occasion wear black pants and jeans. We assumed that it was a dye transfer from my pants. Long story short, we called the store, and we called the warranty company (where it states it covers dye transfer) We sent pictures, and they said it's dye transfer but it's not covered. We asked them to send someone down to look at the couch, but they would not. We now feel as though Lifestyle Furniture did not stand behind us or the furniture that they sold us. We checked with the BBB and according to them the warranty company only has a 1.3 rating. What company uses such a warranty company? So, we ended up having to buy another set (elsewhere). We lost the money we spent for the set we purchased from Lifestyle and We purchased an extended warranty that didn't warranty what it clearly said it would. The worst part is the fact that they refused to send someone out to look at it or try to rectify it. We are so sorry that we bought from this company and will never buy from them again. Babettes owns Lifestyle Furniture, We will stay away from both of those stores.
