My old refrigerator stopped working while under warranty so lowes issues me a gift card to buy a new one. I purchase an lg which after two days starts to not refrigerate. I call and visit the store and am told that after 48 hours they can't do anything,I need to call lg for an RA.I call lg and they tell me that I need to call lowes and have 3 way conversation.I get home and call lowes and wait for 1hour. Nobody ever answers so I hang up and resign myself to have a xmas and new years without a fridge. Neither lowes or lg cares about people. All they care about is the dollars. Lowes is only good for hardware and paint. Any appliances should be purchased from a reputable dealer or the manufacturer. (It became a mission to get someone to answer.). My husband called and asked for paint, a nice young lady answered and transferred him to lumber. You guessed it, no one answered. Please be careful at this store. My son, active duty U.S. Army, went to this store and had his vehicle hit by a cart due to an employee. The accident was caught on Lowes surveillance camera. The accident cause a puncture in my son's car door. The company and insurance company admitted to fault after reviewing video footage. My son filed a police report, went to the store manager filed the accident with Lowes insurance company. Over 1 month later and Lowes still has not repaired my son's vehicle. One would think that a store that relies on customers to survive the business would have better customer service practices. After waiting in line for 10 minutes for an actual cashier, the worker decided she would close her lane, and she did this with no warning. No, I will not use self-checkout because I do not work for lowes, and it allows the store to evade customer service. The actions of this cashier fall solely on the management and their lack of customer service training. I have had a wonderful experience with Lowe's in the process of renovating my home. Every employee has been amazingly helpful from the lady who assisted with my countertops to Jarrod today in flooring. I can say wholeheartedly that I have always been given assistance especially while looking like a lost lamb with three - four kids lol. Currently remodeling my guest bathroom. Becareful when you buy appliances from Lowe's in Killeen TX. They provide misleading information and refuse to honor their word. I bought the Samsung Bespoke four-door smart refrigerator and paid over $2,000 using my credit card. At time of purchase, I was told by the sales lady that I had a 30 day warranty for returns or for any issues, if any, with the refrigerator. Just to make clear, I am not trying to return the refrigerator. After the delivery, I notice that the doors on the refrigerator are uneven and need an adjustment. I tried calling Killeen Lowes the same day and the day after, but I was not able to reach Lowes. Since I had a 30 day warrenty, I was not too concerned and I went to Lowes in person a few days later. It was than that I was told by Lowes that the 30 day warrenty did not apply to me and that I only get a two day warranty because I used my credit card instead of the Lowes card. I explained to the sales person that I was not told that the warranty was only if I purchased the refrigerator with a Lowes card. The sales person pointed to a small sign posted in an area that is not visible to customers from the register/computer when paying. I pointed out to the sales person that the sign cannot be seen from the register as the monitor blockes the sign. The rep said "well that is how its been for two years." As a paying customer, I do not believe that it is my responsibility to search a worker's desk to read store rules, so I called for a manager, who informed me that since I did not have a Lowes card, Lowes was not obligated to tell me that the 30 warenty did not apply to me, even thought I was told that I had 30 days at time of purchace. The sales person said that sometimes Lowes makes an exception and will send someone after the two days. He than said "Sometimes exceptions are made to send somebody and sometimes not". Depends on HQ that day. The manager agreed and said that he will call on Monday and ask for an exception. He took my number and said he will call me on Monday to let me know the decision. We'll today is Wed and I did not receive a call. I also cannot, once again, reach anyone by phone. This refrigerator cost me over two thousand dollars and killeen Lowes refuses to send someone to make a simple adjustment that I cannot do myself, just because I did not use a Lowes card. Just for the record, I asked about the Lowes card and I was told thay it did not make a difference if I purchased with my card or took out a Lowes card. I was given another number to call for service and have not been able to reach anyone. I get put on hold and after about 45 mins I get automatically disconnected. I now have this refrigerator a little under three weeks and is experiencing other Issues: 1. Refrigerator temp is set to 38 degrees. I tested this with two separate thermometers on different shelves at the same time and both thermometers read 41 degrees. I reset the temp to 35 degrees, and after a week both thermometers read 40 degrees. And no, I am not keeping the doors open. Even the water in the pitcher, my milk, and my juice, does not get as cold as they did with my old refrigerator. 2. Water does not get as cold as it should from either the pitcher or from the water dispenser. I tried pouring out the first few cups, but there was no difference. 3. Freezer drawer squeeks every time I open or shut it. Very annoying. I am very disappointed  that I cannot get a tech to adjust my refrigerator, which should have been adjusted at time of delivery.  Lowes use to be a store I trusted, but not any more. Lowes personnel in the appliance department are not trained to properly communicate with customers. They did not properly inform my of store policy. It is not enough to hang a little sign out of the customer's view and than hold the customer responsible. Furthermore,  it seems like the company does not care enough to assist customers after they make their money. On a good note. I love the size of the refrigerator and that I have the option to change out the glass door panels to different colors. The freezer holds a lot of food and keeps items frozen. The freezer makes two different size ice cubes and the refrigerator automatically fills the water pitcher after each use. The Flex Zone, is a nice extra space to have, but never reaches 32 degrees for meets as advised. It is apx 40 degrees. read more

This store gets zero stars from me but in order to make this post I had to give 1 star. They sent my order to another store without informing me and were unable to provide a reason other than that's all we can do and we can refund you or Temple has it in a locker for you. The temperature is going to freeze overnight and that's the best they can do...that is unbelievable. I use to be a huge advocate for Lowes..but now I lost complete faith in how they are able to resolve issues or provide alternatives. The un caring and nonchalant behavior is what gets me. No one knocked on my door, asked my name or even said, Hello. Two men pulled up in my driveway and started unloading. I walked outside to see what was going on - no one had called before arrival. One man went in my house without a word to me. The other unpacked the washer. They connected to washer without a word. I stopped them from installing the new washer on a wet floor. I had very bad experienced today in Killen Lowes store . I bought a package of toilet paper and used a $5 coupon. There had a promotion price on the package that showed $7.48. I did not read the small title, just the price.I just knew it costs $7.48 then checked out. When I found out the price was incorrect, I brought it back to customer service to refund it, and asked to get the $5 coupon back. The young girl told me "that is not the price of this toilet paper". I said, "I know, but there was a paper on it that said $7.48, If the incorret tag was not on the toilet paper, I would not have known". She asked a Senior coworker to help. We explained it all to her again. She said this is not $7.48. I said "I just looked at the price on the package". The tag had mistaken me to think it was $7.48. She looks down on me asking,"Do you just want to use $5 coupon and only pay $2"? I said, "Yes". She despised me and said coupon can not be used again after being scanned. She told the young girl to refund my money. I asked," can I get $5 coupon back"? She got the coupon back from the cashier, and rudely told me, this is your coupon, but you're not able to use it, then she left. $5, it's not that kind much. Can't find help because employees aren't wearing uniforms, and they don't wear covid masks over their noses or at all--even before the governor dropped their mandate. Also heard an employee make a sexist joke to a female customer. Same guy didn't measure our PVC pipe cuttings right so we ended up buying extra because he didn't write down our measurements. What kind of manager lets employees do any of that? Update two weeks later: this is hands down the worst shopping experience I've had with any establishment. I ordered patio furniture to be delivered between 8am and noon on a Tuesday, but I didn't find out until 2pm that day the driver couldn't get passed the gate guard because he didn't bring the registration for his truck. The delivery contractor company said they're not even sure if the furniture left the warehouse yet, and store would handle the next delivery time. The store said they weren't sure where it was either and their contractor should've handled the next delivery, but said it would come Wednesday. It's almost 4pm on Thursday and I still don't have the $600 worth of stuff. We've been keeping someone at home to receive the delivery and postponing plans for 3 days. I've called over 25 times and either the operator robot just drops the call or no one answers the call. It rings maybe 10 times and then the call still drops. The only line that picks up is Curbside, and twice she transferred me to Managment and the call dropped. How am I even supposed to get a refund if no one answers the phone? Does corporate know this place is run like this? How does a big box hardware store with hundreds of locations have rampant unprofessionalism go unfettered? read more

Ordered a sample of Softened Green Sherwin Williams paint last night. Tested it on a wall, liked it, decided to order it. I bought 3 gallons today. My sister started to paint while I ran to the grocery store. I got back home and she has painted the first coat for one entire room, and was working on the second room. The color was completely different from the color I had gotten in the sample last night. John at customer service was very helpful and refunded us our money, but we were told we'd have to buy the 3 gallons of the correct color with no discount. Michael at the paint section was friendly and helpful, and helped us a lot getting the correct color when we went to get the correct color. The employees were all great, but we wish we could've had a discount on the correct paint to make up for all of the time we lost with the wrong color. read more

Giving good customer service is not a priority at this Lowe's. The flooring rep allowed the same customer to interrupt me twice! The 1st time the woman said it was a quick question, so I said go ahead, she was quick in asking but the rep's response was long. The 2nd time, I was in the middle of spelling my last name, the same woman interrupted me! The rep did not apologize to me. He spoke with the woman, as if, I were invisible. I felt like I was. The woman was rude. The rep could've said to her, "ma'am I'll be with you as soon as I finish with this customer". I placed my order trying not to show how upset I was. The rep was white, the rude lady was white, was I being treated badly because I wasn't white, I wondered. I did speak to a manager after the incident. She was pressed on getting the reps name, I think she missed the point I was making. Once my quote was ready, I came back just to receive more bad service. My flooring choices was not in the system or folder. I was extremely disappointed! Did my info get deleted out because I complained? I spoke to another manager. He said it was because after 10 days the quotes get deleted. I placed the order on the May 10th, I came back on May 21st. Self check out says I can't get my military discount in that lane (what???) so I'm forced to wait in the regular line. We've ordered product to be installed in our home, and it was delayed, then delayed more..we placed a secondary order & cancelled the first. It was delayed, then someone said it was lost, then it took me having a Temple employee track it down for me. How is there no tracking # for a purchase?? Yikes. I ordered a patio door from Lowes, and was very specific what I wanted. Well, I got what they wanted me to have. I asked , a door with blinds, brown side facing outside, white side facing inside, and a screen. I also discussed using Pella. I got a store brand door, white inside and outside and no screen. They keep telling me that door didn't come with a screen and I keep telling that's not the door I ordered. Then, after careful examination, the door is not square. I have trouble locking the lock because there is a space at the very top of the door that does not slide all the way in the track. I'm so angry. Ms. Jana was on the phone when I approached her desk. This lady was so busy, she could not give customers her full undivided attention. I purchased $1700 dollars worth of washer/dryer set. Was suppose to be delivered on a specific day which was a week later, so gave them plenty of time. I had one missed call from an unknown number that day, no message! I had a very BROAD range of 8am-8pm, I called Lowes the morning of, as suggested by the store employee who sold me the items, to see what number I was on the list. The store employee told me he would find out and call me back when he heard from delivery. Nooone ever called me back and no one ever showed up with my delivery. When I called the store at 6pm the store employee told me I was suppose to "be next" from the called he made earlier that day and that the delivers were now complete for the day! WTF!! So now I'm still without my appliances and it's almost impossible to get ANYONE on the phone! Supposedly they took a photo when they came by, but no one ever rang out doorbell or knocked!!
