The wheel chair ramp I made from products I purchased from Lowe's.
Marie L.

I have been shopping here for years, and have had nothing but good experiences. That being said, I have to give a special kudos to the people at Lowe's for helping me to make my van more handicap accessible! Special thanks to Will, who cut the wood for me, and Bubba who helped us both out in coming up with solutions to the issue of raising the wheel chair platform over the 2 inch lip where the door closes. It may be a redneck rig job, and it may not look pretty, but it does an awesome job and it is light-weight enough for me to easily handle. I called around to several places that were supposed to help with access issues for the disabled with varying results. It turns out that Lowe's was the most helpful place of all. They also offer Veteran discounts and special parking for Veterans.

The blue tape was damage from the first delivery, nice new scrapes from the second!
Steve H.

As a die hard Lowe's patron it saddens me to give such a low score to Lowe's as this is not my normal experience with the chain. Never have them deliver an appliance... go elsewhere! Today was the second attempt and successful damage to my home. While the first delivery attempt resulted in leaving damaged product, my wood floors and walls suffered the brunt of the damage. The best part. The employee while leaving my house, flippantly tells me to "call Lowe's, they'll take care of the damages" Fast forward to today, same story, only this time they managed not to hit a wall, but damages the floors more so than the first time. They know what a floor guard is, but choose not to use it? I am now left with the ordeal of obtaining estimates with the promise of leaving my home for 3 days, living where? While the floor is sanded and restrained. And they hit the house with the new refrigerator while bring it in the second time. Waiting for Aston Kutcher from PUNK'd to jump out at any moment... Alas, it's a big box chain, no accountability, no recourse... never again! PS: to the second delivery team. Thanks for not hooking up the water lines correctly in the refrigerator door that you removed. I enjoyed mopping up the water and making the connections again myself after you left!

This was found in my tool bag that I got from an online pick up order

I did an online pick up order for a tool bag plus set. The tools were already opened and zip tied back shut. But that didn't bother me as much as finding a cigarette butt in one of the pouches. I called their customer service and they weren't super helpful. After I told them about this they only said "okay" and I had to prompt a solution

Recently my washing machine stopped working and I called a repairman recommended to me by an…read moreacquaintance. Unfortunately the repairman informed me that it would cost about the same as buying a new washer to repair my old washer. He gave me the number for DT's Used Appliances and recommended I give them a call if I wanted to save some money. I called DT's Used Appliance and spoke with Kelly. She was very pleasant and seemed helpful. I explained to her that I was an in-home oxygen patient so rarely went out. I asked her about the washers that were available and she offered to snap some photos and send them to me via text. The next day I received several photos of washers that appeared to be in good condition. I selected a Samsung top loader which was priced at $375.00. I asked when the washer could be delivered and was told it would be Monday (I was calling on Thursday) and since I REALLY needed to get some laundry done I asked if I could have a friend bring the $375.00 and pick up the washer that day. My friend went to the location on Old Lebanon Road and met with Kelly. He came to my house with the washer I had selected and hooked the washer up and took my old washer away for me. I started to wash the floor to ceiling pile of dirty clothes that had accumulated over the course of a week and the very first load the washer failed to spin the water out of the clothes. In short, I was sold a washer that didn't work as advertised. I called the next day to report that the washer I had purchased the day before did not work. That is when the whole picture of how this business operates came into focus. I was told that I had purchased the appliance "as-is". I was then told if I wanted DT's Used Appliances to repair the washer I needed to bring it to them since they did not deliver it to my home. I pointed out just how difficult it and expensive it would be for me to take the broken washer back to the purchase location given that I am disabled and on constant oxygen. I also pointed out that in Tennessee there is an implied warranty of merchantability and that selling me a washer that did not work was a breach of that warranty. After some back and forth with Kelly she told me that they might be able to get someone to come look at it the following Monday which was 3 more days I would spend without a washer. I insisted that it be repaired and made to work immediately and I guess I got my point across because I was told a repairman would come later that same day. At approximately 6:30 pm a repairman showed up and looked at the washer. I described the situation to him and he replaced a part that was completely worn out and left. I attempted to do a load of laundry and when it came time to spin the water out on the final cycle it was the same as before. The washer would not spin the water out of the clothes. I ended up wringing the water out by hand. I followed up the next day to let DT's Used Appliances know the repair didn't fix the problem. I was told they would send another repairman out "sometime next week". I gave up and decided to start trying again on Monday. On Monday I called and got the same story that I had purchased the washer "as is" and that the "warranty" DT's Used Appliances claims in their marketing material didn't guarantee any time frame for repairs. I then started reading the reviews on DT's Used Appliances and found that many, many consumers had been subjected to the same sort of situation I was dealing with. When I was unable to pin down a date and time to have a repairman fix the broken machine I informed DT's Used Appliances that I would be having my friend bring back their broken washer and I expected a full refund of the $375.00 case I had paid to them. My friend took the machine back and they refused to refund my money. He left the broken washer in the front of the building. My calls and text to Kelly the next day culminated in me being told not to send any more texts and that I was harassing them and to stop calling. I honored that and am in the process of filing a lawsuit in small claims. I have filed a consumer complaint with the appropriate authorities and referred DT's Used Appliances to the Tennessee Department of Revenue for investigation of likely violating the sales tax laws since they quoted me a higher price if I used a credit card and a lower price for cash which indicates cash sales are probably not reported or being under-reported. If you are considering doing business with these people my personal advice is DO NOT give them a dime. Run, don't walk, away from this place. And a note to Will and Kelly Muncey, I'll see you in court and it will not be a good look for you and your business. You should have refunded my money when you had the chance!

While it may not be a huge spot, it is filled to the brim with goods of all varieties and is certainly still a store that I can and have easily been entertained at for a while. We popped in looking for some furniture in the form of a dining table set and we ended up leaving with a candle, some outdoor lights and a cooler...none of which we were after or truly in need of. Back to the table...they had a table we loved, but they had it due to some damage on it and unfortunately the scratch was a little too deep to fix so we sadly passed. Most of the items are new in package, but they do sell second life items that feature some variety of damage. Nothing glaring, but enough to be noticeable on most of these items. Overall, The Yard Sale Store was a cool spot to spend some time on a weekend afternoon. While we do not find ourselves in Mt. Juliet too often, when we do...this place with be on the radar!
