This has got to be the worst Lowes in existence. I live close by so I naturally gravitate here. But, if you need help of any kind or expertise, you better go to Central Park. I asked for help with a washer inside my outdoor faucet. The young man in the washer/dryers was of no help and told me the man who knew was at lunch. He had no apology or concern when I told him people would be going elsewhere after his answer. Do they hire people that are still "warm"? Or, barely breathing? Me and my family just had a bad experience with one of the stores employees who's in charge of washers and dryers section. The employee is Hispanic and my wife yesterday on June 4 was inquiring about buying a washer and dryer. The employee, a Hispanic, listened to my wife and start talking to her in Spanish in which other customers were around and thought my wife couldn't speak English. I went to the store after work to purchase the washer/ dryer and the same salesman was not there and had to wait 15 minutes while other Lowe employees came to help me find or call him, he didn't show up. They told him what I was wearing so he could come over to me. After 15 minutes, he showed up but another person came into the section and he went to them and spent another 15 minutes in which the person was asking him on information not buying anything. I had enough and went to the customer service counter. I informed the employee that I wanted to buy the washer and dryer. I told them that I wanted to speak to the floor manager and they told me that the assistant manager was on their way. I didn't want to deal with the appliances employee however he followed me to the desk and hung around the desk while in the background other customers were waiting for him. I didn't want to deal with but he wanted to hear my conversation. Also, he told my wife that he would deliver the machines by Friday. The salesperson at customer service told me that they can only deliver it by June 11, 2026. The assistant manager talked to me but the appliance employee still hung around. I told him what happened and he looked like he didn't want to deal with this guy. I have done business with this store in the past and me and my family were treated with respect. After serving 40 years in the military and proud veteran, me and my family were treated by this employee of; Stereotyping customers Abandoned workstation while customers are waiting Harassing customers by hanging around them Lying to customers Disrespectful to customers especially veterans Employee doesn't care about his customers purchasing store merchandise Assistant manager didn't seem he wanted to fix the situation I called today on 4 June and the employees can't locate the manager. This store states that they care about customers especially veterans. Just by placing a parking space for veterans does not mean that it. Having employees such as their appliance salesman is totally shameless and VETERANS, I strongly encourage you to think about purchasing merchandise from this Lowe's. This will be reported to the Better Business Bureau and Lowe's Corporate Office. read more

Store is fine. Self checkout Cashier was helpful. I'm just wondering when the company picnic is. They expect me to ring up my own items?? Figure I should get an employee discount or a paycheck. No registers were open at 820 Sunday morning. Only self checkout. The nice young lady ended up ringing me up at self checkout. What a nightmare it has been to buy a gas range from Lowe's. Although the original salesman was nice and helpful, it really seems like Lowe's doesn't want to sell gas ranges; as they make the process so difficult. If that's the case, don't sell them!! Having to try to coordinate the delivery around when the plumber may come to measure, and then come back to install is ridiculous. When Lowe's can't schedule those things directly and you have to wait to hear from the plumber, how are you supposed to have any idea when delivery should take place? The plumber never called us about scheduling for the measurements. We had to call them. After they took them, they called them in to somewhere. They told us that Lowe's had the information and to go straight there to schedule installation. We did. We couldn't get any help for about 30 minutes. Then, we were told that Lowe's did Not have the measurements and we couldn't schedule installation. I had to go back the next morning, on an already very busy day. I was then able to pay for the installation; along with all kinds of other charges that suddenly came up. The bill just kept rising for unknown reasons. The installation still couldn't be scheduled though; as we'd been told it would be. We had to wait to hear from the plumber again. Once they contacted us, they told us they'd be here between 1 and 4 the day after the range will be delivered. We got a message from Lowe's stating the installation will be between 11 and 2. I have no idea which is correct and we have to figure out where to put a range for a day, since the old one will still be in place when the new one is delivered. On top of that, I received an email from Lowe's saying that they don't have gas installers and we have to hire our own third party plumber to do that. Then what have we gone through all this for and what did I just pay for? Last time we bought a gas range, we didn't go through any of this; but we didn't buy it from Lowe's. read more

If not for the friendly and helpful employees there, I would give this Lowe's just one star---for the management that does not manage. at least at inventory. I've been frustrated and wasted much time many times by their totally wrong direction like: Free Store Pickup xx Available at Fredericksburg Lowe's Aisle xx | Bay xx Most recently, on 07/11 I was looking for Season Long Weed Control, supposedly in Aisle 23| Bay 11 But there is absolutely no Aisle 23. The friendly employee who helped me, pointed to a lane full of patio furniture and said that was Aisle 23. On 07/08 I was looking for 1"x6"x10' pressure treated wood, supposedly at $7.97 and 54 available But there is NONE at all, confirmed by the employee working at that section. So, I picked up a 12' one, marked as $8.97 a piece. But when I was checking out, I was charged $10.18. Even though finally the problem was ironed out, instead of money, I lost my precious time! read more

Ordered a washer and dryer. Was supposed to be delivered on 7/21. Was delayed to 8/4. Then delayed to 8/8. On morning of delivery get a call saying they actually had 2 washers on the truck. They could deliver the washer then order the dryer. I said no I wanted both at once. Got a call back saying they couldn't get a dryer till later September. How they didn't catch they had ordered 2 washers not one of each is beyond be and not caught it again till day of delivery is baffling. When I asked how they didn't know this till day of delivery she said they get so many deliveries they just check it names and move on. Customer service is a zero here! read more

It unfortunate to see this type of store perform so poorly. Always have been a loyal customer to them. Lately their customer service has been hard to find. Employees don't walk you to find things, or even offer to help. Im sure like any big corporation the employees have a protocol to follow not to be blaming among themselves, it creates a poor and weak image for the brand name. Im very disappointed, even the the associates at customer service, have no smiles, they look miserable behind that desk. It makes you feel you walk in into walmart. I really hope management can improve this, otherwise they will be loosing customers. read more

Probably the best Lowe's around, every time I go come here I'm always assisted immediately by the plentiful amount of staff working...Nice thing is that this Lowe's isn't normally too busy especially compared to Garrisonville and Carl D Lowe's stores. Good selection too, I recommend you choose this Lowe's. read more

The customer service desk at this Lowes is always a train wreck. The people always take a long time to do anything related to their job such as a return, check an item or exchange an item. It also take at least 4-6 people before a transaction can ever be completed...which is ridiculous. These people need better training so that they are self sufficient with what they are supposed to be doing, they always seem confused. At of all the Lowes in the area this one has the least helpful and least friendly customer service desk. read more

I was n the Store in a hurry and looking for help , inwas sent to this store bc the glass cutter at the one in Stafford was broken and so I come here and I wait by the isle and was told someone from staff would meet me there, didn't happen. A young man actually ignored me when I asked for help said he was busy and kept walking but didn't even stop to look at me lol terrible service. Finally an employees name shaprell offered to help and even apologized for that kid. She did suck an amazing g job and was so polite and knew so much I needed up spending like 100$ extra in that store lol anyways I wanted to say thank you shaprell and I hope you get some kind of acknowledgment bc there is nothing more important than quality customer service read more

Worst company ever!!!! My mother bought a fridge from them with a extended warranty, the warranty say if the breaks that within 48 hours that they will have someone out to fix or replace it. Never happened!!!! It took over 2 months to get her a check so that she could replace the giant paperweight that is sitting in her kitchen. Do not go to Lowe's to purchase any large appliances!!!!! They don't deserve even one star read more

I wanted a perennial plant on sale and 3 different cashiers later, I did not find one cashier that helped me. Not one could tell me which plant was on sale. Two cashiers ignored my complaints. One never returned after not getting an answer. One cashier excused herself by not working three days earlier. One cashier went online to find a sale for the next day. The posted sign in the garden was for today. All of them suggested that I could load any or all of the perennial plants for them to scan. I was not looking for a job, just a price. It took 45 minutes, before I got that they have to show up to get paid and not to work. They were extremely poorly schooled in customer service. read more

Singular worst customer service experience i have ever encountered. The phone operator for that store...*WISH I COULD INSERT HER NAME HERE* was not only rude but completely confrontational and disrespectful. She alone cost the store a purchase that could have been excess of $1000. When i called back to speak to the manager on duty, the manager made no effort to correct the situation but rather simply stated "i do apologies for that". The story behind the initial altercation was quite simple. I was told that i could purchase something by phone and told that i could call back to make the purchase. Withinthe 5 minutes between conversations during my call back i was informed that they had decided to NOT allow the phone purchase. When i expressed being upset over the recent change in policy i was hung up on. Ironically, the worst operator in the history of customer service called me back to offer to sell me the item and then when i asked why they were now able to sell it to me over the phone her reply was "oh, you are the rude one" and then hung up on me again. That is what prompted me to call and ask for the manager on duty and that is when the only response i received was "i do apologize for that". Such an inadequate response. Not only is it grammatically incorrect (i was not challenging her sincerity in her apology, why the usage of "do" as if i were?) but why didn't she make the attempt to salvage the sale? She could have easily turned this around and made a small amount of revenue for the store. Whatever the case, they lost a sale that is surely minor to the Lowes corporation as a whole but potentially slightly impactful to this store inparticular. read more
