I needed some stones which were of course in the very back-most furthest-away-from-me spot ever -- and I felt like it was a legitimate hike to get there (hahah okay I'm sort of joking). I have been a loyal customer of this Lowe's for 22 years -- multiple times a week, buying everything from a $3,400 LG refrigerator, a Samsung washer/dryer, kitchen and bathroom remodel supplies, fencing, pool supplies, yard-maintenance supplies year after year, tools, custom-mixed paint, and display equipment I use for my art business. I am a 69-year-old Black woman and a true longtime customer of this store, yet in all these years, I don't believe a single long-tenured employee has ever known me by name. This is the third time in under a year I have had to formally complain, in writing, about how I am treated here. On December 23, 2025, Assistant Manager Barrett refused to refund cash for an online order I had paid for in cash after the item was canceled the same day. He insisted I accept store credit instead and handed back my receipt, telling me the employee who had offered the refund "shouldn't have." I had to escalate to Lowe's Executive Customer Relations. The matter was sent back to the store, and a different store manager personally refunded my cash and gave me a gift as an apology for what I had gone through. On May 5, 2026, the same Barrett stopped me at the front of the store as I was rolling out a pallet of rock I had already paid for and demanded to inspect my receipt in a detailed, suspicious fashion. Again, no apology or acknowledgment of how that interaction felt after 22 years of loyalty. I have watched employees at this store spend considerable time and effort helping other customers resolve problems -- trying different cards, digging through the system, and doing everything they can to find a solution, even while a line is backing up behind them. I have watched them extend patience and grace to other customers. When I have a similar situation, particularly one I did not cause myself, I have not received that same grace or effort. On September 29, 2026, around 8:00 p.m., I went to buy a Whirlpool dishwasher I had already researched. No employee was in the appliance department. A customer waiting nearby called out for help on my behalf. Employee Kent walked up on his phone, never acknowledged me, and after hanging up, helped that same customer instead -- even though I had been waiting first with no one else around. When I said so, Kent claimed the other customer had "stopped him in the aisle." I was standing there and witnessed the interaction. That is not what happened. The customer had called down the aisle for Kent to come help the lady waiting -- me. The customer himself ultimately told Kent I should be helped first. This is not an isolated moment with Kent. My interactions with him in that department have consistently left me feeling dismissed, including a lack of eye contact or basic acknowledgment. I left and bought the dishwasher from Costco Online for the same $799 price I was quoted at Lowe's, with free delivery, installation, and haul-away, while Lowe's had quoted me $258 in additional charges for installation, haul-away, and parts. Price was not the reason I left. I was willing to pay more at Lowe's for convenience. The treatment was the deal breaker. I filed a BBB complaint. Lowe's Executive Customer Relations representative Jason Shores handled my call in a way that left me asking whether he was still on the line. When I told him I did not feel valued as a customer, he did not disagree, reassure me, or otherwise address that concern. Lowe's written BBB response simply said they had spoken with me and "considers the matter closed." No explanation of what was investigated. No description of corrective action. No accountability. Store Manager Calvin Stallworth then emailed me saying he had "spoken with both employees," even though I had only named one employee in my complaint. No explanation was provided. Three complaints in under a year. No meaningful accountability. No transparency. No apology that addressed the substance of what I reported. I have now contacted Lowe's Compliance, Executive Customer Relations, the BBB, and store management directly. I have not received a response from Compliance. I have watched customer service at this store erode over the years. After 22 years of loyalty and substantial spending, I no longer feel valued as a customer. Unless there is something I cannot possibly find anywhere else, I will not be giving this store my business or my resources the way I have for the past 22 years. I want the public to know what I experienced and how Lowe's chose to respond. One final point: Please do not respond by asking me to contact Lowe's to discuss this further. I have already contacted Executive Customer Relations, Compliance, store management, and the BBB. I have made my concerns known through every channel available to me. This is the third time I have spoken to Lowe's management about the issues of the inside garden depot at the Flower Mound location. Corporate replied once, using my review for training & to help with the situation. Well, no change! I pointed out to them today all the self-watering trays, which keep the plants watered, were empty! I don't get it...beautiful plants, left to die. I wonder who pays for that, besides the consumer? Lowe's lets them die because they get the money back from the vendor? A stray cat apparently lives here. Tired to save the cat from running in the street and to take him to the shelter. The staff heavily protested us from doing so. Especially one guy who was extremely odd to me and blatantly ignored my attempts to be kind during a previous transaction. They're treating a living being like entertainment. I needed a replacement for my exterior lighting fixture. Searching online, the manufacturers site indicated this location was a place I could purchase replacement parts including glass panes.. I called and after inquiring, the customer service rep immediately said she didn't know and that's something I needed to search about online. I let her know I did and she put me through to lighting twice... no answer. Third time another rep answered and said she would see if she could find someone. The last rep I spoke to was nice and tried to transfer me to an electrical supervisor but they picked up and hung up. I tried calling back in but got hung up one. Once again we went with Lowe's and while we like the refrigerator we got, and the actual purchase and sales process. The customer service stops once you pay for your merchandise. They have, and take zero responsibility for there delivery and subcontractor work. I this case it wasn't even the delivery team. The coordination between Lowe's and when where (what store) our fridge would be delivered was a circus at best. We were told April 24 when that didn't happened, April 29 with a confirmed text about delivery on 29th. Whe. That didn't happen call the Lowe's story again and no clue about who we should call about delivery. How about you call and let me know since I already have an incorrect confirmation email Finally my husband drove to the Lewisville store and found our fridge thst had been delivered. It finally arrived on May 1 almost 30 days after purchased and 3 incorrect delivery adventures. Really. If you've read my previous reviews, you know I am big on customer service. I've stopped at three Lowes today in search a of a particular fridge that I found at the Little Elm Lowes. Just wanted to see if it was somewhere else with no damage on it. I walked into the flower mound Lowes and asked the person at the counter if he could just tell me if the item was in stock. He told me I had two people ahead of him. I absolutely understand waiting in a line, but I knew this would be a 10 second task, and I simply wanted to know if it was worth my wait. I feel like a reasonable response would have been to ask for some backup customer service in this department. I went to the front of the store and inquired there to which I was told it was not in stock. Glad I did that instead of waiting my turn! The people up front were super kind! read more

Ordered an insulated garage door last September. They installed a non-insulated door, wrong door. Managers say they will help but do not. Installation team say they will help but never call back. I purchased a new Whirlpool refrigerator in October of 2021 and the compressor broke in April. I was not aware that Lowe's extended service plan does not provide service support within the first year and I had to go through Whirlpool. It's been three months since I called for service support and I still don't have a repaired/replaced refrigerator. Trying to get someone to help from Lowe's and Whirlpool has been extremely difficult. All I get is that I'm sorry for the inconvenience. They keep wanting to pass me off to someone else or have no ability to provide additional support via their management. Having to go through the summer here in Texas without a working refrigerator is not good. You need to be aware of both Lowe's and Whirlpool's policy and lack of support regarding their products. I understand that Covid is impacting some of these services, but I feel that I've been more than patient waiting over three months to get something done. I recommend that you read the fine print and possibly look at other options. Next time, I'll take my service to another place that will provide me better service. read more

Just here to purchase carbon monoxide dectors. They're clearly marked on sale and not ringing up on-sale. Two registers, including customer service and asking for a manager won't walk back to check the signage and told me to take photos which I did of entire shelve and showed it to them. While still at the register at customer service I told customer service they are ringing up $20 more than all the signage shows and I just need them and since no one can seem to help just give them to me at $40 each. This woman in customer service while I am standing at the register to purchase these completely reaches around me and helps another customer rather than finishing with me. Never experienced such rude customer service. Live 5 minutes from this Lowes and in here weekly. Will drive to home depot from now on. This is my third review of Lowes, all negative. Went into store to buy a nail gun that was on sale, they did not have any at the store. So I went onto the World Wide Web and ordered it, come to find out they canceled my order because my local store did not have any (which I already knew). To my shock I went on line the next day and they had stock of the item and the price was $50 bucks more expensive. Called customer service and went round and round and nothing. This Lowe's is a fine option for this area. The customer service can vary from great to non-exisistent. Based on my experience with Lowe's, this is common. This store could improve on getting loose carts inside the store so they don't blow around the parking lot. Of course this is usually due to a cart or two being left behind by lazy customers who can't seem to walk their cart to a cart bay. Overall, the store seems to be clean and they keep lines moving. I actually prefer the Home Depot in Flower Mound better, but this Lowe's is closer so I'll be making this my go to home improvement spot. Haven't had a ton of interaction with the staff, but I have had some positive experiences with the painting staff. Like any Lowe's, at times it seems understaffed and can get quite busy. read more

I had carpet installation done by Lowes. The sales person was very nice and professional to work with! Just have to be careful with items that they try to push on you automatically because the products are usually WAY overpriced and unnecessary, like the carpet padding! The installation wasn't perfect , ok since the installation was warranted for a year, BUT, you are treated like second class citizens when it comes to warranty fixes. I was told twice by Service Pros they would be there at a certain time but no shows, they called after time range but since I work couldn't go back to meet Therefore, I will never use Lowes again for flooring installation! read more

What started as a simple project to replace our bathroom cabinets (for our master bathroom and our guest bathroom) ended up being a nightmare. This project started May 6, 2019 did not get completed until after October 5, 2019. Even by the October 5th date there was a slight space between one cabinet and the floor that had to be caulked or the tile underneath would have to be added or the cabinet extended. Instead of Lowe's employees taking ownership and managing the contractors (the carpenters and the plumbers), I had to manage everything. The contractors hardly arrived on time when they promised to arrive, and when they did arrive work was either partially done or not up to completion and I'd have to complain to Lowe's for them to call the contactors out to my home again. The only reason that I'm writing this report almost a year later is because I'm having problems with a faucet leak from one of the sinks that were installed by one of their plumber contractors. It's just a reminder to me of the ordeal I went through to get the work done. Lowe's makes you pay for installation services upfront, but once your check clears, they don't care about customer service or going the extra mile to ensure quality work for your home project. They hug ya' before they mug ya'. I'm still paying the price for doing business with them. I gave a good review to Diamond Prelude Karsen cabinetry which was the company that provided the cabinets, however, they distanced themselves from the Lowe's installation and contractors. The Good ------------ 1) Quality materials used in the home project The Bad --------- 1) The worst customer service (even the manager was non-responsive when called upon to intervene) 2) Unprofessional contractors - I had to make multiple calls and make multiple schedule modifications to get the installation completed 3) Hidden costs - the plumber charged extra even though it should have been included in Lowe's overall cost estimate 4) Promised made there were never kept - Lowe's said one thing and did another consistently throughout the entire project 5) Sub-par installation - Contractors had to come out to my home multiple times to fix problems that could have been fixed if the job was done right the first time. After our recent issues with Lowe's, we will likely not be using them again. We made a fairly simple flooring (carpet/wood) order through them over three weeks ago and still have no new flooring. The installers have no-showed twice for two scheduled install times and the excuses provided were ridiculous. It seems that once you pay for the product at the Lowe's, it's no longer their problem since they contract out to an install company based out of another state (Oklahoma). We will not be using Lowe's for anything in the future, this experience has been the worst. read more

This particular Lowe's customer service sucks. We ordered some bar-stools off of lowes.com to be delivered to this store for a 1/3/2011 delivery. The following things happened: 1. The delivery date came and the product never arrived. We called Lowe's and they said "Sorry, this happens all the time. We'll call you when they arrive. Thanks." 2. Never heard from Lowe's, and the product was sitting in the back of the store since 1/7. 3. Finally called Lowe's and they lied by telling us they just received the product on 1/12. However, the shipping manifesto clearly says it arrived on 1/7. 4. Took the bar-stools home and they were the wrong ones. Spoke to the store manager and he said "Why are you upset, I'll give you your money back." It's not about the bar-stools, it's about taking that extra step in upping your customer service in an environment where the next retailer would be glad to have your business. This is really about their contracted services as the store itself is pretty much what you would expect from a big box store. I ordered a simple granite desktop from them back in December. Their sub (Irving CounterTop) was prompt to come out the next day to measure the space and go over any special cuts. I showed him where I needed two holes with one being a special hidden outlet. I also gave him the template for an under counter keyboard shelf and he said no problem. All basic things for a granite guy. About 2 weeks later I get a call from a different company saying they were coming out to measure for the countertop. Told him someone was already out to do it and I that I don't understand what additional he needs. He said he would call Lowes and get back to me but never did. After calling Lowes multiple times to get an answer, twice talking to the assistant manager, no one would return my call. The AM told me twice he would get right back to me. A few more calls over a couple days and I finally got word that everything was on track with the first company and the other company calling was a mistake. I asked if they had an update on when it would be ready, it had been 3 weeks, and was told he had no idea. After all this they showed up more than a month after the order to do the install. Unfortunately they cut one of the holes too close to the cabinet and didn't put the anchors in the underside for the keyboard mount. When asked why there were no anchors I was told they don't do that. When asked what they would do about the hole in the wrong place the installers suggested cutting 1/2" off of the one side so it would slide over enough. I mean really?!? Cut off 1/2" and leave a massive gap on one side in this alcove? So in the end my outlet doesn't fit now, I have to try and drill in anchors myself, and I no longer have the template for the keyboard install. Lowe's won't do anything about it and Irving CounterTop doesn't seem to care. I asked for a new piece and was told no. Brian at Lowes Kitchens was a nice guy but this is a case study in how to mismanage your subs. I understand that Lowes subs this work out but I didn't get this from Irving CounterTop, I got it from Lowes and I would expect they stand by their customers when their subs screw up. I guess not! Don't bother using a big box like Lowes for anything that requires them to subcontract work, just go directly to a reputable company! read more

I've had mixed luck with this location of Lowe's. The store is big, clean, and well stocked. The location is excellent. The staff seem friendly and helpful. But the customer service is just lacking in so many ways. Over the summer we brought in a lawn mower to get repaired and several weeks later we call to see when are mower would EVER be ready, and they had lost the darn thing. Like they had no record we had ever even brought in a lawnmower. Finally they tracked down a mower that they thought was just abandoned at the repair desk (why would someone bring a mower up to the repair desk to just leave it? You could just take it to the curb!). The mower was ours thankfully. Honestly thats pretty bad to loose an entire lawn mower! If my only experience with this Lowe's was this isolated event, I'd give the star one star...when they'd really deserve a zero. Luckily for us both, I've been here before that and I have returned since. It's the closest home improvement/repair store to my home, so what can I say...I'm lazy? Other than this one fairly MAJOR err on Lowe's part, I have had positive experiences here. Nothing that blows me out of the water with awesomeness, but on par with what I have come to expect when I go to a Lowe's or Home Depot type store. I'll spare them the 1 star, becuase most of the time this store is a 3.5 to 4 star for me. read more

Don't buy the extended warranty here. We bought a refrigerator and when we needed service, the local company Lowes contracted with was worthless. We couldn't get them to answer the phone, return a voicemail, and the tech was even a no call/no show. I always enjoyed shopping at Lowe's but just say no to the extended warranty until they find real service providers. read more
