    LG Stackable Washer & Dryer
    Pamela L.

I love going to home improvement stores. I like checking out the latest home gadgets and technology. 5 solid stars! We have been coming to this location here in East Brunswick for the last two decades. Always stellar customer service at the cashier and return department. Super helpful sales associates always ready to assist and answer any questions we have. They will never walk by you in the aisles without asking if you've found what you're looking for. We've had our old Kenmore Elite washer and dryer for 19 years now. The last two weeks our washer has been acting up. Each time I do a load, I pray that it doesn't explode. Today we had no choice but to get a new pair. After much research, I was set on a pair of LG's. As the sales associate was ringing us up, out of the corner of my eyes another LG model caught my attention. It was taller, more sleek...a piece of eye candy coated in Black Steel. I went over to look at it more closely. I decided to get this one instead. I was very happy with the price, special discount and delivery date. Whew!! As I am typing this review up, my old washer made it through another load. Can't wait to get my new washer and dryer this coming Thursday.

Huge location that has pretty much everything you need for building and home maintenance essentials. This location is clean and not overly crowded.

This looks like a typical Lowes, with lumber and roofing on one far end of the store and seasonal merchandise and plumbing on the other end. Maybe it was just me, but I ended up walking past a lot of floor displays for hinged showers. Has a separate semi-outdoor gardening section on the south side of the store. The restrooms are in the front-middle of the store, past the self-checkout stations.

    I love it!

Dave is great at flooring. But the flooring department need more help. They seem like they don't have staffing.

Lowe's (and Home Depot) have actually found a solution integrating both the aisle and bay number into their app.

As it turned out the compressor I wanted was out of stock and had to be ordered and PAID IN ADVANCE which is what I did. So my point is I have to pay for and wait for it to be shipped to the store which looks like it could be weeks which I'm fine with, but to hold on to my PAID FOR MERCHANDISE for an hour or two till my drive gets was impossible. Aside from that situation the manager and assistant manager were going to bring me a lift cart to help me bring my merchandise to the cash register but took their time doing it and kept we waiting while he started to help another customer. I think it's very inconsiderate when some is spending between $3,500 and $4,000 for one day's purchase in a place of business and is treated in such a fashion. I currently own a business that requires items sold at Harbor Freight but I'm seriously considering shopping elsewhere after this incident. It's sad when a business doesn't accommodate it's customers especially with a significant sale as this one.

The technician also had the wrong windows/glass. The new install/repair was to happen 3 weeks later. When we called to get the two hour window of when the tech would be here we heard the following: We don't have you scheduled, we don't know where your window is. The window is broken. Asking for a supervisor to call us to discuss the issues we were having was futile. They would not return the call. The tech did show up with a window. He found it not to be glass to meet city code, and it was broken. No repairs are done yet. When the tech asked us to sign that he was here I refused until he got a supervisor on the phone. That was a struggle. He did not want to do it and said so many times. I told him you represent this company, you need to help make this right. Finally he reached a lady Laura. She was bold and basically said they will get it right. I asked when....She said that she would call back on Monday after 4 pm because she couldn't tell me yet. I don't believe she will call. I believe that this will be a chase, like herding cats... I am telling you for a company like this to be part of Anderson Windows is awful would NEVER in a million years recommend this company to anyone!!

12 year update on the Silverline 8000-8500 series. We built a new house in 2000 and asked the local…read morewindow distributer for the windows he would use in his house. He stated that the Silverline windows were the best on the market and came with a lifetime warranty. So, we placed the order for 28 new windows. These were ordered with all of the bells and whistles. Double hung, Low-E, Argon filled, and internal grates. When the windows shipped they were nothing more than replacement windows with nailing fins attached to the frame. After the first 5 years most of the sashes were replaced for one reason or another. The biggest issue was they used a rubber seal between the panes of glass to keep the argon gas in failed under fluctuating hot and cold weather as we get here in New Jersey. When this seal fails the argon escapes and the glass quickly becomes visually streaky because the Low-E film sticks to the glass. The second issue is the plastic clips that keep the windows in the track have become brittle and have been breaking. By year 10 the majority of the sashes have failed and have been replaced under warranty. The main problem is that they will not replace the upper and lower sashes in pairs. They will only replace the unit that failed. When the new sash's were delivered they never matches the original sash. Now we have issues with air gaps and upper sashes that don't stay up when the windows are opened. Now every time we open a window the upper sash creeps down and the bugs are free to enter the house freely. Lower screen only, no full length screens were available for these windows. I've resorted to using white vinyl tape to keep the upper sash in place and keeping the air out. I called customer service regarding this situation and I was told that since Anderson bought Silverline they had no ability to accurately match up the sash dimensions exactly. I requested that they replace the sashes in pairs and they said this is not covered in the warranty. At year 12, I give up! I'm looking to replace all of the windows in the house (again). I guess the "lifetime" warranty really isn't worth the paper it's written on. I'd crumple it up and throw it out the window, but I can't open the windows anymore! (Or see out of them either!!!)
