Like this Lowe's way better than its box competitors. Organized, clean and friendly. Came over for replacement bathroom ceiling fans with low noise factors. We had researched the world for them and when their competitor didn't have them, we came here. They had exactly what we wanted so we got two for each bathroom. For a box store, and we normally try to avoid them in favor of local stores, it's very good. Many items that our local hardware store will not carry. Lastly, the Veteran parking spots outside the store made me quite thankful for those who have earned the respect while serving in uniform. Good on Lowe's. read more

Worst place to buy indoor plants, over watered and undercared for...I dumped out the water on the floor in front of display...go out to garden center and come back after 10 minutes ...the spill is still there. I had windows installed by Tagg and they did damage to my Sheetrock. I filed with Lowes Concord NH about the incident. It has been over two months and the service department wants me to find a contractor, get an estimate and submit it to them for approval. Since I paid big money for their service they should take care of everything from start to finish. The service department is dragging their feet wanting me to stop requesting them to complete the job. I would not use Lowes for any type of construction due to the service they have provided. Incompetent and Apathetic Before I posted this I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and went to Lowes Concord to try to resolve the issue or get contact information for someone that could. I was greeted by a dismissive arrogant costumer service rep who refused to give me any information and said there was no one in the Store that could help me. So here is what happened. I purchased a snowblower on November 22nd and scheduled the delivery for December 1st and took the day off to receive it. Lowes sent me a time window the night before. December 1st the snowblower did not show up. I checked the online status to find it had been changed to December 8th. December 2nd a foot of snow was expected. I went to the store to find out what happened and why I was never notified. Emily the scheduler said it wasn't assembled and never made it on to the truck. When I asked her why I wasn't notified she just shrugged. They said the can assemble it but not deliver it. So I rented a truck and picked it up. After I returned to truck I went home to try it out. There was no gas and more concerning no oil in it. It had never been tested. I returned to Lowes and the gave me oil. I added the amount of oil the user guide said. When I started it up Oil and gas spewed from the exhaust. The inside was rusted. I called Costumer service who said they can do nothing for 72 hours but I would here back from the Concord Lowes. 72 hours later with no phone call I called customer service again and after 2 hours found out Concord Lowes kept closing my ticket with no action, resolution or contact and that they had no snowblowers left in stock. Once again I was assured I would here back within 24 hours from Concord Lowes. 24 hours later without a phone call I called customer service back to find out once again Concored Lowes closed my ticked with no action, resolution or contact. After another hour on the phone the only thing they can do is schedule a pick up of the defected snowblower they sold me then 10 days after the pick up I will be refunded. I was offered a $25 gift card for my troubles. I found that insulting. The incompetency, apathy and negligence of the Concord Lowes can not be what comes down from corporate. Avoid this store at all costs. Go anywhere else. read more

I went in tonight with a small return and to purchase a new front door with delivery. I was helped by a young lady named Emma and she was beyond helpful with the return and the purchas/ delivery. She answered all of my questions and made sure the delivery date worked great with my schedule. Employees like Emma make shopping a lot better. 10/10 read more

Reading that Lowes is a past supporter of Donald Trump explains a lot about how my husband and I were treated at the Lowes in Concord, NH. Twice in the last few months (don't go there much) we have been talked to in a very rude manner by employees. My husband just walked out last time he was so furious with the rude treatment when he asked a question. We reported and got a pretty lame response that someone would be in contact with us which never happened. We actually bought this up to an employee in Home Depot when we were there buying the item we had attempted to buy in Lowe's. Said they hear that a lot from customers who have had bad experiences with employees in Lowe's. Too bad because Lowe's is in a very convenient location for us but we will never go there again. read more

Went in because my lilac bush has not been blooming well. When I asked the associate in Lawn and Garden what I should use for fertilizer, she said "water". Went to Home Depot, asked the same question and they immediately started asking about where it was planted. Apparently because I have lots of pines my soil is too acidic. They sold me something to bring the ph down, and some fertilizer to help get the bush back on track. I am guessing Miss Snark from Lowe's doesn't work on commission. read more

Ordered two sets of blinds through the mobile app. Received my confirmation email stating I'll be notified when my product is ready for pickup. Waited until 2:30 the next day and still hadn't heard anything. Since I was out and about in the area anyway, I went in to see if the order was ready and maybe there was just a hiccup in the mobile system. It's technology, it happens. Was told, "Oh, that order was cancelled." Odd, I hadn't received any communication that it was. (As a matter of fact, if I open the app now, it still says the order is "In Process.") When I asked why, I was told, "we don't sell that product anymore. Nobody has it." So, apparently in the 18 or so hours from the time I placed my order, to the time I walked in the store, Lowe's had pulled that particular product from every store in the country? Man, bad timing on my part! I wasn't offered a replacement product, wasn't offered to possibly ship it from the website, wasn't offered an apology or explanation as to why the product is listed as available on all their electronic channels. I was just told, "it's deleted from your card." I made the drive up the road to Home Depot and after looking the same product up in their system, I was walked from the Customer Service desk up front directly to the product location on the sales floor by a very helpful young gentleman. Lowe's could learn something from Home Depot. I get it, it's big box retail, but for brick and mortar stores trying to compete, it's all about customer service. I know this much, as soon as I see that return back in my account, I'll never set foot in a Lowe's again. read more

Like many, I am concerned about the risk of Corona virus. After seeing many maskless customers at your store, I was happy to hear you were mandating masks at your stores. However when I went in today, nobody was checking mask use at the door and there were plenty customers in the store shopping without masks and interacting with staff. I never usually write reviews but I hope this will save someone else from the frustration and runaround I am experiencing. I bought a washer and dryer from Lowe`s in Nashua. The next day I cancelled the order because I saw another washer and dryer that had better reviews. The only Lowe`s that had it available was Lowe`s in Concord. I called and cancelled my original order and ordered my new washer and dryer. I had to again cancel the dryer and order a different dryer. The order was all set. I finally got the cancelled (original)washer and dryer and the second dryer taken off my account (It was not until I called to complain). My new order was all set and delivery date was set for Friday, April 24th. On the 24th, I did not get a delivery. I was told it was scheduled for the 25th. Fine, it was still being delivered, no big deal. They were delivered on the 25th but would not fit down the stairs to my basement. I returned the washer and dryer with the delivery men. I called Lowe`s and they assured me that my account was updated and I would not have any charges. It is now May 13th and I am getting emails saying my account is delinquent???? The credit card company is telling me to call Lowes and Lowes is telling me to call the credit card company. Meanwhile I have no washer and dryer and a huge bill that is late????? Need to buy a washer/dryer. Went to Lowes. First of all, no one wants to help you or is knowledgable. The one man working behind the desk was rude. Asked about a gas dryer. "We don't carry those". But you can order them, right? He stayed behind the desk, never offered any assistance, and no other customers were around. Well, being desperate, I went back again today. Same rude man in the department, same rude answer about gas dryers. Told me to look around while he "helped" someone else. I told him I knew what I wanted. Never offered to call someone else. The selection of products in Lowe's is great. But like many national brands, all stores are not the same. I am an avid DIY'er and find myself going to HD much more often even though Lowe's is closer. I've been going by there for over three years and several things remain constant. First and most annoying, they never have a human-run check out. It always seems to self checkout which is slow and annoying. I always wait to pay and get out. This is irksome and quite frankly unacceptable at what are obvious peak times (weekend mornings). Second, good help is hard to come by. They have staff that can help you find the product on the shelf, but I find they aren't able to answer questions about certain jobs. On multiple occasions I got advice I the paint section that was flat out wrong. For example, one employee told me you could not use latex paint over oil-based primer. Another was recommending the wrong kind a respirator for apart lacquer. Third, their in-store pickup is terrible. While it's a nice service, they have messed my orders more than once. On multiple occasions they didn't have all of my order, shorted me when I paid for multiples of an item, or didn't have it ready when expected. My 2 cents is that Home Depot is the better home center in Concord. Their customer service and selection are better. Really, the prices are about the same. read more

Purchased a gas dryer and hook up kit for my daughters house, online. Called several times to find out about delivery. I was told they would hook up the dryer but when it finally arrived after at least 6 phone calls, they said they do not hook up anything. Just drop it and go. Never got a confirmation about my purchase until I started calling every other day. Got pushed from store to store and the online contact number was just as useless. Went to Lowe's today for a washing machine. After very limited information on being able to stack the new washing machine on an older model the person in charge of department said to my husband and I quote (you could jury rig it to work). Anyone who knows anything would know if you do that warranty won't stand. So I said we are not doing that so he shrugged his shoulders as if to say I don't really want to assist you. Did this guy who we waited for even know his department. I don't think so. We went to Sears and after a great explanation from the sales person realized we had to buy a dryer also due to the age. Not even new stacker kit would work. Lowe's lost out on a good sale for a second time in 5 years. Very sad. I was very angry when he said to jury rig it. If your looking to have them install a metal roof I wouldn't hire Lowes. From the start I had problems in 2015 and now it is 2017. The roof started to leak less than a year later and destroyed a few of my rooms and 1 was just freshly painted. We called Lowes and they sent someone out who said Lowes would take care of it but they never did in fact they won't even answer calls , emails, or Facebook after months of trying to get this resolved. They ended up telling me that their clause for repairs to a roof had expired and I had to deal with the people who make the material which is Union Corrugating and they have been coming since 2016 and in fact are here today 10/19/2017, and they are also horrible to deal with. If I can find them on here they will also be getting a bad review. I will not shop at Lowes anymore and would HIGHLY recommend not using them for any projects. Every time someone sees my roof they ask what idiots did it I happily tell them my story at least they have been warned about this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I traveled up to Lowe's in Concord, NH, with the mindset and intention of updating and purchasing several aging appliances, a major investment. I must say, I was terribly disappointed, disillusioned, and generally displeased not only with the lack of availability of sales personnel, but also with the general apathy, apparent lack of interest, and a general feeling of unconcern that seemed to prevail in assisting the customer. I found the indifferent approach by the sales people who were finally "available" after a literal near two-hour stay at this store, blasé, ultimately unconcerned and whose communication skills were severely lacking when an opportunity finally arose for assistance & conversation, in regards to this crucial large- investment purchase for my home. I found this, as a potential large- purchase consumer, undeniably disappointing and unacceptable. There also seemed to be an overall lack of familiarity and a general absence of knowledge of their department. Sadly, I left , after several exhausting hours in this environment, vowing not to return to purchase, and immediately driving to a competitor. It was at this competitor's business I, thankfully, was able to speak with a gentleman who took the time to be helpful, was very courteous, extremely knowledgeable and imparted much of what I needed to know about the major appliance purchase I needed to make. So, sadly, decision made . . . . will not give this major purchase to Lowe's. read more

Looking for a particular interior door. No associates nearby to ask so went to customer service. 3 associates there. One was on the phone helping a customer and two others were laughing and joking with a customer. We waited a few minutes..no acknowledgement but still lots of fun going on with other customer. Surely it takes two associates to wait on him. Thinking we were not being acknowledged because we were on the wrong side, walked around to other side (after we were able to find a way to get there). Still no acknowledgement. A simple "I will be right with you" would have been fine. Left the almost $200 worth of merchandise on the cart by the desk and walked away. And guess what? Another person went up to the desk and was waited on right away. Not quite sure why we were ignored. Very disappointed in this particular store. It is really nice to see associates being friendly but when you have multiple customers around you need to be a bit more aware. We don't expect people to drop everything because we are there, just the courtesy of acknowledgement. Went to Home Depot and found what we needed...oh and were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and didn't need to go to customer service because an associate was available. read more
