Store was dirty and the stock sitting in the isles was chaotic. Then, I spend 25 minutes trying to find an employee in the lumber department to help me find a particular siding. I ended up going to the front of the store for assistance and felt like I was interrupting a conversation between two employees. I was given directions to find the product I wa looking for... and lo and behold it wasn't where I was told to go. Back to the front of the store for assistance again. This time the employee led the way & he too had try o looking around for it. Instead of the side isle , it was on the back wall. After he pointed it out, he left me to try to get it off a shelve that was above my head by myself. After stacking two 4x6 on top of each other, I was able to barely reach a board and inch it off the stack to the edge and get it off the shelve. As I was getting the 3rd board, an employee did show up and help. It will be a while before I go back to this store.

We had researched the world for them and when their competitor didn't have them, we came here. They had exactly what we wanted so we got two for each bathroom. Lastly, the Veteran parking spots outside the store made me quite thankful for those who have earned the respect while serving in uniform. Good on Lowe's.

The obvious terrified man said he had to do what his boss said or else?? Seriously? His supervisor obviously has control and anger issues!! We will never go there again. I heard he has been extremely rude and pushy with other customers there as well!! We will find another hardware store for all our paint and other needs. Do yourself a favor and don't shop there !! They had everything from stove pipes to shoe polish, as well as hunting licenses. They were your typical small town hardware store. When Perkin's sold to Aubuchon, I lamented the loss and moved on - the location was much bigger, the inventory almost as good, and the service was good, with well trained employees. Around 2017 there was a corporate shakeup of some sort, and a gradual decline in the level of service, especially in employee training. Only the manager knew how to copy a key, and the young kids they hired were pretty useless when you needed something, and couldn't care less that they didn't know. If you've stuck with me this long, I'm getting to the point - Cyr Lumber at Exit 7 in Warner has grabbed the torch in terms of service and knowledge! They are a full service Ace Hardware, have lumber and building supplies, and provide many of the services that "old time" hardware stores had: key cutting, screen repair, glass cutting, blade sharpening. The whole feel of the place is less corporate, and you actually feel welcomed when you walk in the door! It's a nice change from the big box stores!

I have found just about everything I've purchased at HF (going back at least 30 years or more) to be of at least acceptable quality. The grinder I've had for at least 25 years has held up well (but I might only use it 3 or 4 times a year). The many kits of fasteners have worked just fine, and their hand tools let you choose the level of quality that you need. I'm very happy with what I purchase there. Would I stake my life on their tools? No. But I'm not a lineman or a professional mechanic, so they work just fine for me.

This week, I received a flyer with a Labor day sale and decided that there were some good sale items and made the trip down to the store. We knew that they were closed on Sundays, but hoped that because the sale went through the 4th, that they would be open for business on Labor Day. We got to the store and unfortunately, it was closed, but they had posted the flyer on their door, so we decided to go back on Tuesday and ask them to honor the prices that THEY advertised. The owner first started with the, "we are just a small business" babble and went from there. Edmunds has 2 stores and has been in business for over 50 years. They could have easily helped us out, but instead they turned us away and chose to turn away our business. He did not even know he had the flyer on his door and said he knew nothing about it. I will not be returning and nor should you.
