The atmosphere, has a very "old school" vibe, in the sense, that customers seem to be appreciated, & valued. This is quite unlike other establishments, that treat patrons like "cattle" to be moved along & "processed" as quickly as possible, just to take their hard earned money. I only go to the Tilton vision center, even though it's 30+ miles out of town. I'm proud to patronize & support practitioners, who treat people decently. The Vision center in the Gilford Walmart, is the complete opposite of the Tilton one. I don't go there anymore, even though it's much closer.

I needed to have a light replaced on my car and the repair shop quoted $110 for the part. Instead, I decided to walk into local auto parts stores to comparison shop and see if someone might also install, as auto repair work is prohibited on the property where I live. O'Reilly was my second stop and gave an extremely reasonable price and comparable to Amazon. Thomas behind the counter said they didn't do installations but he'd give me permission to do it myself in their parking lot. I replied that installation was my holdup. A few minutes later, he hinted that someone might be able to help me if I came early the next day when the part was in. To my great appreciation, that's exactly what they did. While the job was simple, it wasn't exactly easy in the effort involved and I was happy to give the guy a tip.

I don't know anything about the mechanics of a car and they could have told me just about anything and I would have said, Ok how much? The mechanic could not have been nicer. His name was Sean and he said that the sound was from slight uneven tire wear, but the tires were still good and perhaps next season I may need 2 new tires.
