Inside service is quite good. People are friendly and helpful. Delivery that I received sucked the guy was rude, didn't attempt to ask where I wanted the order placed. Just a genuine a..hole. Lowes used to have good delivery people before they started outsourcing. If you get anything that needs to be delivered, you might be better off picking it up yourself. Lowes visit 7/12 Jeremy, Luke and Julian ... cluelesss! 12 customers in line, one register open at 11:48am. Jeremy walking around, I guess getting carts? Luke, brand new, asked him if he could open another register, told me he was brand new. Can you get someone? I'll try, he replied. Girl watering within eyesight of register no help. Then I asked Jullian why she didn't call for help or ask Luke and Jeremy for help, she replied, " than would take a while". I saw customers leave, put their merchandise down and walk out. Lumber ordered online to "save time". I arrive at lumber after getting my notification it was ready, can't get ahold of customer service. I walk over to customer service, 6 people standing at the phones? They say yes your order is ready, walk back down to lumber and I'll tell them you are here. You did not take my order number or my name, how do you know who is here. Walk back to lumber "hey they said they would call someone, where should I wait, btw there are 6 people down there doing nothing" she says, "I'll try to call them again" call whom again.?! So now I'm just standing next to my truck, waiting for "someone" to appear with my order that they don't know who it belongs to. Only maybe. Check all over other retailers including Lowe's and the Depot. Sales people don't listen to you and you check yourself out. If you order online pickup, make sure you have the store number because associates will say they didn't know you were out there. Lazy read more

Always out of everything and what they do have is in the wrong bin so you have to hunt for it. Cashiers can't do coupons (from Lowe's with written instruction for cashiers on them) or gift cards (again from Lowe's) and eventually you just say forget it and leave. Met the best of employees at Lowes last night. We came in for a large order of wood. Mr. Jimmy was the first to come help us. He was polite. Even with us having a large order, he kept a smile on his face. Mr. Jimmy is a great asset to Lowes, I sure hope they know that. Mr. Kenny came to help, and he too was great. Worst service we have ever had and we visit often. We live 45 mins away and have been there 3 times to order countertops and have yet to get them order. today was told the guy was in lunch and we waited 45 mins and went back and guess what he had just gone to lunch and talked to the manager over the area and he was no help at all. read more

Okay, I understand that this is a difficult time with COVID, but that does not give a person the right to be rude to paying customers. Anytime we have come here the staff has been great to help out and ask if we needed anything. With that being said, when it is time to check out in the store most of the time they are rude and rushed I get there is a line, however people in the garden area are angles they're kind, understanding, and they know how to deal with customers. However, the staff in the store being rude at check out can't be ignored. Needless to say, I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

A little late on posting this... But, both David and Hannah at customer service are amazing! I was having such a bad day, and then I rented one of their Bissell carpet cleaners only for it to to be completely damaged (actually, someone had peed in it ). Hannah and David were both SO helpful and did whatever they can to rectify the situation. They definitely made my already stressful day not so bad anymore. So HUGE thank you to the customer service reps (particularly Hannah and David since that's whom I dealt with) in being sympathetic and just so sweet and fully taking care of the situation. read more

We will never be back to the Columbia Tn Lowe's! Anytime you ask someone for help they have rude remarks and they act like they don't even want to help you with anything. When in reality it's their job to greet you nicely and help you with anything you need in a nice manner! If you don't like your job you shouldn't be working there! To know a woman is struggling to pick up a 5 gallon bucket of drywall mud and put in the back of the vehicle and not help is sad! We went into the store at 8:00 Saturday of Labor Day weekend with a big challenge of a plumbing problem. We didn't get the name of the man that helped us but he really knew his stuff. After he had figured out how to solve our problem he asked one simple question, "what kind of faucet do you have?" I happened to be standing in front of the one we had purchased and his face lit up. He said we didn't need to do all this modification and he went over and pulled what we needed and told us to return all the other stuff. He asked why we were using all the other stuff and we told him that's what the guy had given us at noon. He just shook his head and apologized. I wish I had gotten his name but he needs a bonus. Not only did he solve the adaptations problem but he then turned around and completely simplified it by asking the right question. I just wish all the employees listened and asked questions. read more

This has been worse experience. My husband and I recently went into Lowe's in Columbia, Tennessee to purchase sink, garbage disposal. We were having new counter tops put in our home. We did price counter tops there and it was $1000.00 more for exact thing. So we went there to buy a new sink, garbage disposal, new pipes, and installation fee for installing disposal. We told the sales person our house was 20 years old and would need all new pipes. The salesman went and got installation people and they both helped us pick out exactly what we would need to buy to hook up our disposal. They told me which disposal would fit our house. We paid over 260.00 for it. Then they picked out pipes. The two guys said one of them would be doing it so they knew there wouldn't be a problem. So we paid an additional 250.00 and 35.00 insurance in case they had to go back to store for parts. When the installer came today he looked at sink and told my husband he had two more installations and they didn't allot enough time. Funny I called them yesterday and spoke with a manager named Jennifer. She investigated it and told me there would be no problem. My disposal would be installed. Today when I talked to her she investigated again and called me and told me that her installer told her our sink was just laid in counter not installed. The counter top people installed yesterday. When I told her that she went back and talked to him. This time she said it would cost 300.00 more to install the merchandise her employees picked then assured us they would installed. Guess 1100.00 wasn't enough. They needed to get 1400.00 out of us. So I have brand new kitchen and no running water or disposal after paying 1100.00! What happened to service! read more

This store must go out of it's way to hire the stupidest people it can find. With few exceptions, the employees are absolute morons. Most are essentially useless while a few attempt to pick up the slack. I have so many experiences I could relate, but frankly, I hate to spend any more time thinking about, talking about, or shopping at this store. I only wanted to warn those seeking reviews that they will likely have a very hard time getting anything done at this store. (I had to wait an hour just to get something down from a high shelf because they couldn't find someone to operate the fork lift.) And that is just one of many, many, tales of woe. Getting customer service at Lowe's depends on what time you go during the day, we get better service between 9-1 then the knowledgeable ones go to lunch, then 2-6 is an okay time because lunch is over and by 6 that crew is leaving for day after that your lucky if you get anyone to help if it requires more than just showing you where things are read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I will never shop there again! I ordered a garage door - and after 4 months, 8 phone calls, 3 in-person stops into the store - I had NO status on it (I kept hearing that I would get a call within 24 hours, no one ever called) - although I had paid for it. After all my digging, I got a phone call saying it would finally be delivered/installed between 4pm and 7pm. At 10am someone in a personal vehicle dropped the door off - leaving wrapping trash all down my driveway and road. It was not installed and no one showed up between 4pm and 7pm as promised. When I called the number back from caller id - it was a lady named Julie (clearly it was her personal cell phone, as she answered unprofessionally) - I told that I had taken off work to be home for the install. She seemed to be offended that I questioned her - and said "our obligation is done, we will not install it" and hung up on me! I called the manager of the store and got no apology - nada! I told him to come get his door - he simply said 'okay'. No concern at all that I have been thru a 4 month process with his store and no concern that he had an unhappy customer.
