Love this location! First, they have a wonderful plant section with tons of healthy plants and a great selection of pots. There's even a clearance section with struggling plants if you have a green thumb and want to give one a second chance! The seasonal section is always fun to browse, especially with lots of Halloween decorations. They also have a great outdoor and garden section, plus hardware, home decor, lighting, bulbs, cleaning supplies, tools, electrical and building supplies, dog food and toys, paint, lumber, and masonry supplies. Hats, pants, shorts, heavy duty t shirts, wind breakers, sweat shirts and moisture wicking hoodies! Blow me over with a feather! Everything is stocked and clean! Do NOT order anything online from this store! I ordered 4 glass replacement globes for my light fixture and ordered directly from the store through the website. They were the only location that had 4 of them. I paid for delivery and they showed up in the box that wasn't closed and they were just put in a box with no packing material. One was shattered and the others were scratched. And since the box was wide open, they driver easily had to have seen the broken one but delivered them anyway. I called the store and it took 10 minutes just to get someone on the phone. Once I told the lady what happened, she told me to just bring it back and they would give me a refund. I paid for delivery so I wouldn't have to drive across town. After I asked for another globe to be delivered, she told me she would get someone to help me, put me on hold and never came back. I'm very disappointed in my experience today. I went in by myself just to get moving boxes. Sounds simple enough, right? The minute I get into the aisle a guy comes up behind me with a huge driving thing and just park within an inch of me I ask if he needs me to move he tells me nope I got all the time in the world. I'm trying to rush to get the boxes I need to get out of his way but they still have the band holding them together, making it difficult for me to pull each one out. He sees me struggling and just waits playing on his phone. I get to self check out. I'm struggling because of the amount of boxes. I got that they're following and the person at self checkout is just nonchalantly waiting for me to be done. Doesn't offer any assistance while two other customers offered to help me and were kind enough to help me get them all scanned without making a mess. I park near the front entrance and I'm struggling to get these in my car and it's now started to rain and once again a worker is within 10 feet of me just playing on his phone with his hood up, ignoring customers while a separate customer helps me get them into my car. It wasn't a lot of help needed just another set of hands and I'm disgusted by how many workers around me just standing there clearly not wanting to make any effort to help me. read more

I can't believe I've been here numerous times and not leave a review. I'm mainly here for the plant section. Though over the years we've bought things for our home. And we are thinking of getting a grill very soon. But nothing beats the pricing and the selection of their house plants. They have everything from cactus, succulents, exotic plants, arrangements and more. Even the accessories and potting soils are fair in pricing. My only beef is the handling of the plants. I feel like they are not treated properly once out of the package. Some look like they look unhealthy and need watering. The plants are beautiful but just need a little care. Check out used to be painfully slow. Since self check out is mostly in every store, it's made it a little faster. Some times I find it very hard to find some help but if you get on the app, it will tell you what aisles the items are on. Overall I'd rather come here than Home Depot. It's more oranganize, better selection and reasonable pricing. read more

Love this location, the staff is super helpful and nice. They are well versed on whatever you need and give the best advice. If you are in the area and have a choice between Home Depot and Lowe's, choose Lowe's. Great location with lots of parking. The only con I will say is that they do not have a lot in stock so you might have to order online. I think this is due to the pandemic but I find it easier to go in store to research and see what I need and then deliver to the store. read more

They actually have workers, so you will have someone to answers questions, help you find something, check you out, return something etc. They don't always have everything in-stock and it isn't perfect, but it is SOOO much better than the alternative and I will keep coming back as long as it never gets as bad as the nearby Home Depot. One annoying thing: I got copies of my house key made here and none of them worked UGH! So maybe don't get keys copied there. I was able to get a refund, but still annoying to waste time and make an additional trip. Great selection of plants! I got all of my Fall mums there and the prices were very reasonable. read more

I try to ask couple of employees about a item I was looking for everyone saw me walking toward them and turn away. I met one African American Male name Eugene who when I ask about find Velcro went of his way to show me where the Velcro was. Please Lowe's give Eugene a golden star for me. Came here for the first time in search of succulents and terracotta pots. Headed straight for the garden center which has a separate entrance and cashier. Some plants are inside and some are outside. So if you're looking for plants, make sure you look in both locations. I got a great succulent arrangement on sale for half price!! They also had the plastic saucers that I was looking for to go under my planters. The selection of terracotta pots was sparse, but I was able to find what I needed. This seems to be true at all garden stores. I did ask a salesperson about the succulent arrangements, and she was just okay. Not very friendly. Check-out was a bit slow. There are two checkout stations, but only one was open. Overall, a-ok. read more

By far the WORST customer service I have ever received. Went in to get a grill on 3/6 and after a wonderfully helpful associate help us pick what we wanted and gave information on delivery/assembly sent us to customer service to complete the transaction and schedule. From the minute we walked up to "customer service" it seemed we were a bother and received attitude from all 3 hens working there. Did not get a greeting nor were we asked if we knew what we wanted/had been given the information. I understand being frustrated that another associate did not do their job but as the customer, do not take that out on me. If you do, before accepting their estimated time the project will take (and even adding a week on) I'd suggest you ask where your job will fall on the line of priority with whomever they sub out to do the work. I bought a dishwasher that was IN STOCK from this Lowes 5 weeks ago. I haven't been able to get Lowes to deliver it. They first assigned an installer to pick it up and install it (I paid extra for installation). The installer never called and never answered the phone when I called. I eventually gave up on getting the dishwasher installed and told Lowes to just deliver it to my house. They always say they can see the order and will call me back by the end of the day to schedule delivery, and then don't follow me up. At this point I'm just canceling the order. I'm pretty sure the issue is that online orders rely on the store for delivery and service, but the online teams and the store workers are not using the same systems. I have been a Lowe's customer for years. And normally, the visits there are enjoyable. However, that seems to have changed. On my visit there last week, at least 50% of the customers were not wearing masks - and they seem to be pleased with being "rebels". One guy was even carrying his mask with him and attempted to put it on until his buddies started making fun of him. Employees seem frustrated as they felt they couldn't do anything about it. And by the way, half of the employees had masks that didn't cover their nose. So no wonder COVID-19 is making a comeback. I desperately want to like Lowe's. I like their selection more than Home Depot, their prices are often a bit nicer for what I'm looking for, but good Lord... they are extremely disorganized when it comes to placing orders and customer service. Save yourself the headache and never order something online for pickup. I've done this three times now. Each time was terrible. First time: no one there to help, waited 15 minutes until someone from the self checkout decided they'd come help me. They, of course, didn't know how the system worked. I didn't expect them to, it's not their dept and they're not trained for it. But they had a super hard time pulling up my order and doing whatever needs to be done on their end of things to show that I've received it. Second time: no one there again, but i noticed there was a call button. Pressed the call button which makes an announcement on the store PA system. Waited 20 minutes. Again, someone from another department helped out. The order that had been pulled was incorrect. right product, wrong size. They completed the transaction anyhow and I asked what I should do about the wrong sized item. They said they didn't know. I said... can I leave this with you and just go grab the right one from the shelf? They were literally already helping someone else by now, but said yeah that's fine. Cool.... So i went and grabbed what i needed and left. Third time: I did NOT want to use this system a third time. I do tend to learn from my mistakes. However... I wanted 2 of the same pot. There was only one in stock. The app said they had 5 in stock. I asked the garden center. They looked into it and saw it was also listed as in stock. They said they found the other 4, but they can't sell them because they're doing inventory right this week. End of discussion. Again I pressed and asked... "when will you be done with inventory... next week? should i come back then?" Yeah sure. Again they've moved on to the next thing and were pretty dismissive. COOL. So I went to my car, pulled up the app, and ordered the extra pot, just to see what would happen. An hour later I get an email that my order is ready for pickup. COOOOOOOOL. What the heck? And of course when i go to grab it there's still no one manning the counter, and they've removed the call button. Another 20 minute wait when I can see the pot sitting there on the shelf with my name/order # on it. I am full of impotent frustration. Am I still gonna shop there? yeah. Am I gonna like it? Nope. I wished I had read the reviews before going with Lowe's for my kitchen remodel. Whatever they could do wrong, they did it: they ordered the wrong cabinet doors, the contractor does not know how to measure (or does not care, or most likely both), as they designed 2 pantries with the wrong dimensions, one too tall and one too wide. They forgot to order shelves for the pantries (it is well known that a shelf-less pantry is the new chic!!!!) and of course the so-called "project coordinators" can't care less. They don't follow the work, and don't respond to mails or phone calls, particularly when things don't work out. So, the work started in October, and we are now in March, and it has not yet been completed. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY! read more

The store managers are pathetic and not only do not know their own products/processes, but also rude and a complete headache to deal with. Great store, but never ever use "Lowes delivery" service on Ridge and Highland Ave Norwood/Pleasant Ridge OH. Manager of the delivery department has attitude for days. Tries to use the ol' "yes sir" "no sir" "ok sir", but in that condescending tone that negates trying to be polite/professional. That said 2 deliveries to get my products delivered. Items that had obvious damage to the naked eye were hidden from immediate site by the driver. In other words buried in the stack that I guess I should've (in hindsight) babysat them and watched each piece get unloaded. Then got a call 2 days later (AFTER 2nd delivery) "Hi, this Lowes delivery driver (A different one) I need to set up a time to drop off your order." Me: you mean the order I already got? My refrigerator has died. I am shopping for a full size basic refrigerator be it new, used or a scratch and dent one. I had a vendor gift card audit to do at this store. Lowes has decent variety of gift cards for sale but not as many as you can find at a big Kroger store. After completing the audit I headed for the appliance section of the store. Like the previous Lowes store that I had just visited there was still a smaller variety of refrigerators for sale than I found at Home Depot. Most of them were high end refrigerators priced from $1000 to more than $2000. The basic models were much fewer in number but at similar prices that I found at Home Depot. Again I found a section with scratch and dent marked down appliances including refrigerators and freezers. This Lowes had a greater variety of these items the day I visited it. An appliance associate connected with me. He seemed friendly and very willing to answer my questions even though I made it clear I was not going to make a purchase today. Since I have no idea what I'm doing, I rely pretty heavily on the employees here, and they have always been extremely helpful. The staff is really great at pinpointing that one person who looks clueless (aka me) while staring at a thousand options for different door locks and then helping make a decision. I especially like the guy that works in the paint section...He helped us pick out all the tools and choose the paint style and color that would best fit our new home.
