I continue to come here over the big box stores simply because of the service. There's always someone to greet me, ask me if I need any help, and then once they direct me to where I need to go, they get on the radio to let someone else know that I'm coming. It's really good courtesy and super helpful and the reason why I keep coming back. They have most things that I need and anything that I can't find here, I can usually go elsewhere. But the majority of things that I need are here. So plenty good selection for the most part! I get coupons in the mail so I also get plenty of value as well. Prices always seem to be fair and comparable. I definitely plan to make this my regular store for home needs and goods! read more

The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and their selection is very good. I've never gone in without getting what I needed and every recommendation they have given me has been absolutely spot on. I was in the store this past week and was very impressed with the fact that most of the employees wear mask. There's even a sign on the front door that anyone not vaccinated need to wear a mask, although I'm not sure how they enforce this. A nice man, Kevin, helped me get keys made and another employee, Joe, helped me with my electric needs. It's a smaller store but it has most everything you need or can order it on their website. Went in to try and find license plate screws... no idea what I was doing. I bought some and tried to put them on in parking lot and they were wrong size. Went back in and the cashier was more than helpful...she refunded me and had an employee help me find the item I needed. After 3 attempts, the employee came outside and looked at my car and installed the plates and screws for me! The helpfulness there is up and down. On one occasion a woman who worked there took the time to teach me about the hardware (nails, bolts, screws etc.) so I could find what I needed more easily in the future. I really appreciated that. There are more often times when I am looking and in a hurry and have to ask for help. Just recently I was told an inappropriate joke by a cashier. Yuck!!! This place is the best! I was trying to find a spark plug for my lawnmower and tool to remove. The young who helped me today, actually let me bring my lawnmower to the back of the store and helped me remove the sparkplug. Yeah, it's just a hardware store. I get it. But, what you don't realize is this store makes hardware shopping a pleasure and that's tough to do. They seem to be perpetually overstaffed to be honest. I couldn't want for more attention or better service. Everyone is cheerful, friendly, and eager to help. They are all connected by radio and if the person helping you hits a snag, there is always one or two more ready to show up and help out. My rating is based on the customer service at this store. I've been there twice now and will not be going back. The first time I was looking for near contact volt Meter to see if the knob and tube wiring I'd uncovered at home, was live. I received a gentlemen who while trying to be helpful suggested I just cut the wiring to find out if it was active! I requested to work with someone else who then inferred I should have done my own research before coming in. (It was a spur the moment stop). I always love shopping here. It has the feel of a small neighborhood store. The staff is friendly and helpful. Who doesn't like free popcorn while shopping? This is a very good hardware store. The staff is very helpful. They are closer to where I live than the big hardware stores Lowes and Home Depot so it is very convenient which has me coming back. My go-to place for odds-and-ends hardware as well as key copies. The folks working here are so friendly and respectful...they call me ma'am, explain things to me, and seem to enjoy their job. They work hard to make sure they can match your key...I had no idea they were so complex! And you can't beat the price...$1.99 for a key. The customer service is always great and the employees have some knowledge about hardware in general and if they don't know, they won't try to guess, they'll ask their teammates and find the answer. Because of its small scale, this Ace hardware feels like a neighborhood hardware store, despite its location in a big strip mall. We've gone here a few times for basic gardening and household supplies, and almost always find what we need. Ok, so I definitely don't know my way around a hardware store. I wandered into Ace Hardware a few months ago in search of a universal remote, light-bulbs, and some power converters. For a hardware store, Ace is pretty big, so I walked in and was overwhelmed with the number of products for sale. My face must have shown my confusion clearly as within seconds, a friendly salesperson had asked if there was anything he could help me find. He reminded me of my grandpa and was extremely knowledgeable about every product I needed. I found a cheap universal remote (I had lost the one to my television set somehow) and the salesman showed me how to program it so I didn't even have to read the instructions when I got home. He also directed me to the cheapest and yet best quality light bulbs and power converters. My experience at Ace was great, and I'm definitely going to be back there for all of my home needs instead of venturing to the mega stores (Home Depot, Lowe's) that don't have good service. read more
