Although we had items in mind-he confirmed that we were making good choices based on his knowledge, sale price, and warranty. My husband went into this Lowe's location this morning and had a great experience with Rick or "Sarge" as his coworkers call him. He was trying to find the correct light bulbs to replace those in our living room and was having a little trouble making sure he purchased the correct ones. He returned ones he bought 2 days ago which weren't right. Sarge helped him and reminded my husband about looking at the box to see the sliding bar that shows the intensity. I had a to have some Lab Work done and while we were in the area, my Wife wanted to stop into Lowe's Home Improvement and buy a new shower head. She had already tried our local Lowe's in Denver and they were out of stock. We stopped and they were out of stock also, but the clerk did go onto the inventory system and determine there were six at this location. Had my Lab Test and we had lunch and Susan suggested we stop by this store on the way home. It was a little out of the way but not by more than 10 minutes. I stayed in the car while she went in, and it seemed like it was taking forever. She finally came out without the shower head, and it turns out this store was also. Someone had not updated the inventory and the gentleman who was helping my wife showed the same six heads and he even crawled to the top of the rack to look and then went to the back to confirm. He went out of his way to try and be helpful. Went home and ordered it online and we had it in two days. Good marks for at least trying to meet a customers needs. read more

Five hours to get together a 7-piece order is beyond ridiculous. Then, when my husband got there after work, because SURELY they had long enough to grab the few items, they told him it would be at least another hour-and-a-half until it was ready. I cancelled the order. He grabbed the items and was ready to go in under ten minutes. I know reviews for Lowes don't matter, because everyone is going to shop there anyway (although, Amazon does have same-day delivery for many items that Lowes carries!) so posting this review really is futile, but it's the principle of it. read more

Customer service is not good here based on our experiences - and we've had more than a handful- whenever someone goes to get help for us in a department, it seems like they just run and hide - we end up having to ask multiple associates to get help- and ultimately find our own answer with the limited wifi. Or just wandering around enough to get an answer from the limited staff that's got experience---It's just been disappointing overall- hence the 3 stars. But, they do offer a military discount on non- sale items, which is appreciated. And the people at the checkout are always friendly! read more

Bought an item at Black Friday sale price. Was going to buy in-store but was out of stock. Said could order on-line and pick up on 11/30/23. Ordered on 11/27/23 and was confirmed with estimated pick-up on 11/30. Got email on 11/30/23 saying order was cancelled. No option to wait for item. Customer service said if it is out of stock they will not fill the order (or wait for it to come back into stock). If I would have known this, I would have driven to another store to get the item where it was in stock. Lesson here is sale prices are ONLY GOOD IF YOU BUY AN ITEM IN STOCK. ORDERING ONLINE FOR PICKUP IS A SCAM WHERE THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE ITEM AT THE SALE PRICE! I will be cutting up my Lowe's card and shopping anywhere else but here from now on. read more

I had some time so I visited the plant section. Many options - I will revisit to purchase soon. Checked out via self checkout as their were no other registers open. Where do I start! Lowe's on Iverson Way just proved that customer service matters. Let me start with the fact that I've spent $$$$$ in just two days. My first pick up was fabulous - Dominique in the garden center is AMAZING.. this young man walked me out to get mulch across the parking lot, loaded it, helped me pick shrubs, etc!! Now- I came back the next day after ordering even more items ( via on line this order). I received a " ready for pick up".. went to store & was told to go to 3 diff places... staff was confused, very dismissive and took no interest in helping me as a customer...I finally asked for Mgr( who was very helpful) but the staff & the process that day was horrible.. my order was NOT ready- hadn't even been pulled . I was there for at least 45 mins waiting for Lowe's to actually pull my order.. my order # showed invalid.. it was really. just a hot unorganized mess! Lowe's please correct the very noticeable gaps in your on line order process or take it down.. My bank eBen called me for fraud alert because you post charges 4-5 times across your stores.. there has to be a better way! the huge difference from Friday to Saturday staff speaks volumes afain to customer service and ultimately customer satisfaction ! you Lowe's get a 1 star ( negative stars if I could) Dominique gets 5 stars- maybe he can facilitate your customer service class ! next time Home Depot will get my business read more

Very poor customer service experience. Working on floor installation and would continually be placed on hold until I would be forced to disconnect call. Contractors for install left the job incomplete creating a hazard for my tenants as well as leaving the entire home in a very dirty condition. Lowes touts 10% off for veterans. BS. I went to buy paslode nail gun. Paslode corp reduced price to $329.00. At checkout, I was denied the 10% because they said it was on sale. Not on sale, it was price reduction from Paslode. I went to home Depot, same price, and got the 10% off for veterans. Now, I bought $2,454.00 in lumber from home Depot instead of Lowe's, plus going to buy zero turn mower at about $3700.00 next spring. Lowes refusal to save me $33.00 has cost them $6,154.00 in sales. Customer service was horrific, I dealt with two super rude employees before leaving one completely ignored me for a good 2-3 min when I was trying to ask for help, then when I did get her attention all she did was point in the direction of what I was looking for and then when I asked a second employe for help after I got lost looking for my item all he said was a number then looked at me like I was crazy for being confused. He didn't say aisle 12, just 12, no pointing or anything either. Wtf is 12 where is 12 I've never been here why are you telling me a number. What I dislike most about this location is that you never know whether it's going to be a great experience or if you're going to leave with much annoyance due to bad customer service. It's a coin toss every single time... Over a month ago my husband and I visited Lowe's about a shower glass install. After that initial visit we needed to return 5 more times to get answers that for some reason could not be addressed over the phone?? Many phone calls to Lowe's always produced conflicting information about our order and install and hold time was ridiculously insensitive. I wasn't going to post about my horrible experience with this Lowe's location because every employee I encountered was polite and helpful, but the actual service is horrible! I came weeks ago and made an in-store order for tile flooring that they do not keep in-store. The employee was super helpful and helped me come up with an estimate for how many boxes of tile I would need. I confirmed that I wanted to make the purchase, he told me the amount due, signed me up for a Lowe's card, etc. I asked over and over if I could pay that day and if I could have some sort of receipt. He insisted that I have to wait to pay when I pick up the order. He told me there was no type of receipt he could give me, but they would call me when my order arrived for me to come pick up, he also let me know it should take 5-6 days to arrive. 7 days later, I returned back to the store to check on the status of the purchase bc I had not received a call. The customer service representative lets me know that the order was never put in and that the previous person that helped me only put an estimate into their system, but no order was placed and that orders are only shipped to the store once an item is paid for. I was shocked as I had asked over and over if I could pay the first time I came, but was told that I would have to wait until I pick up the order. So the lady actually put in the order for me this, I paid for it, and was told I would get a call when my order arrived. 9 days later and no phone call.... so I come back up to the store again to check the status and the lady says oh your order has been here. I said NO ONE EVER CALLED ME.. So they just held an expensive purchase that I had already paid for and did not notify me that it was ready for pickup. They could have easily sent an email, text, something! Overall, they continuously dropped the ball. The employees are slow, not engaged or helpful towards customers and sometimes downright rude. Hey, welcome to work, you get paid to do something here! Hands down best customer service I have received in a very long time. I was on a simple task to find some pegs to hold up a shelf in a cabinet. Peg in hand, I walked in and was able to find the correct aisle. Those big aisle signs sure do come in handy. But to when I walked up to the aisle there were screws and pegs and lord knows what else, just everywhere. I had no idea where to begin. Then my knight in shining armor came up to me and asked if I needed help and in less than 15 seconds, he pulled out a tiny little drawer filled with bags of the pegs I needed. My go-to hardware store in Charlotte. Staff is always friendly and available when needed. You typically know what you are going to get when you walk into Lowe's and this location is no different. Customer service is impeccable and prices are reasonable. My son and I just went to a Build and Grow event at this location and were very impressed. The event was run well and we had a great time. For those with children this is a free event that they hold every so often. When you arrive your child gets a free apron, pair of goggles, and build kit. It usually takes about 15 - 20 minutes to assemble. Once completed your child will get a nice certificate stating they've completed the build (this particular event we built a Turbo snail) along with a badge you can iron on to the apron. There aren't too many things that are free these days so this is a great option for those looking for something to do and not spend a ton of money. read more

With COVID-19 I opted for an online order so i didnt have to drag my young children around the store. After 4 hours of not getting the ready email and knew they would be closing soon I went to customer service. I was told the person doing the online orders called in sick and they had no one doing it. No one offered to help me as I had a sleeping child in my arms. Just said we can cancel it for you. I had to carry a sleeping toddler and go pull my own products and check out. The only one who did a great job was the cashier who helped me scan and unload my cart for me since she saw me struggling. I stopped in for the first time on Sunday afternoon. I was hoping to run in for two pieces of rope that would need to be measured and cut by an employee. I was assisted by Casey in the hardware department and he was very helpful and attentive. It was fairly busy in the store but he did what he could to help guests as he was cutting the rope, to avoid long waits for customers that had simple questions. Needed help and was seeking advice so I went up to customer service to ask and as I was standing in front, (6 feet away + behind a window screen) this young employee didn't even want to acknowledge my presence nor me asking him for advice as he kept pounding away on his keyboard. After an awkward 10 seconds of just standing there, he gave me a "hold on" finger raise gesture as he was just "too busy". What was he doing, defusing a bomb with 30 seconds ticking down? When he finally addressed me, I politely asked my Q he gave me a complete attitudey - idk man I can't help you why would you ask me that - type reply. Made me feel like - Oh, I'm sorry, you're too good for the customers at Lowe's and you work in customer service. Okay, no problem, I'll carry on. Took myself to hardware and found Bob J. who was THE MAN. Bob was extremely helpful and totally understood me. He helped me find just what I needed and then more while giving me his best effort advice and true honesty. If it wasn't for Bob J. this review would receive a one star, but my man single handedly saved the company's outlook. There are still good employees out there.
