This kitchen faucet from Lowe's was easy to install!
    Kevin C.

Not only did my kitchen faucet spring a totally unexpected leak, the hand held sprayer part also had a crack in it. I came here to finally get the replacement kitchen faucet that I really wanted. I love that Lowe's really values military veterans. Being a military veteran myself, I always park in one of the veterans parking spaces right in front of the store, and I also have the veterans discount applied to all of my purchases. This Lowe's has a big free parking lot that is mostly used for its customers. All the employees I saw wore face masks. I'm not sure that staff here enforce mask wearing, but all customers that I saw in the store during this visit were wearing masks. I went to the back part of the store where they have an extremely large variety of faucets. I had been eyeballing one particular kitchen faucet since before the pandemic started, but, now, with my current faucet crapping out, I was determined to get the one I had chosen. All I had to do was find it on one of the nearby shelves. Nope, not there. Nope, not there, either. Uh oh! The inventory of the faucet I wanted was stored up high, way out of my reach, like 18 feet above the floor! I found a nearby employee who was very helpful. She asked which faucet I wanted and I showed her the floor sample. She then realized that the box with the faucet was waaaaay up high! She called for a much taller employee to assist her in getting the box down while she pushed a platform ladder into place for the other employee to use when he arrived. He arrived within 5 minutes, and got the box down for me. I thanked them for their help and went on my way. This store was clean, uncluttered and organized looking. Employees were easy to find and ask for help, and they were quick to provide assistance. Checking out was quick too! I'm so glad that this store has it together, and it's close to where I live! It took me about 30 minutes to install the faucet. Instructions were easy to follow, and I didn't have any issues. I think the kitchen faucet looks great!

Getting plywood cut for my Peloton bike
    Jamila B.

Funny story... I went to Lowe's to get plywood for my new peloton bike. I needed a piece cut to fit under my bike since it's sitting on carpet and rocks slightly. I get to Lowe's and once I found someone to help me I give him the specs of how I'd like the plywood cut. He is very helpful and he attentive. I take the plywood on a cart up to the cashier and I realize after paying that it won't fit into my car. I'm standing at the cash register and I ask if I can go back to get it cut smaller. Yes, they say it's fine. I find the gentleman again. I joke with him that it won't fit in my car. He cuts it down smaller. He loads it back up on the cart and I head to my car. Another gentleman outside assists me with trying to get it into my car. Nope. It doesn't fit. I'm embarrassed now because I have to push the cart back inside and find the gentleman again. Back inside and I see him. He starts laughing and asks me what kind of car do I have. He cuts it down again and I head back outside. Yes! It fits in my car and I get home and it's a perfect size for my bike. I was pretty intimidated going into this huge warehouse to get plywood cut but I was well taken care of. Everyone was so friendly and helpful even when I kept coming back for help.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I just left from one of the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Absolutely awful.

Lowe's has really gone downhill. There is absolutely no customer service. I have called the store and the CS 800 line no one ever answers.

We have used Castleberry's over the years, and it pains me to have to write this horrid, but true,…read morereview. I have overlooked their high prices in the past, telling myself 'but I'm supporting small business'. Not this small business. Not any longer. Today was the last straw. Our dishwasher had stopped washing dishes; it ran, but things were not coming out clean. The 'technician' who arrived was not courteous, polite or kind. I won't give his full name but it begins with an E. Still, I figured people have bad days, things happen in their life, OK. He wasn't Sonny Sunshine today, so what? After some time he said it was the motor that wasn't functioning well, so the water wasn't getting full force. "A new motor assembly is $170". As I tried to run through the numbers of whether it made sense to fix this one or buy new, he says "Oh NO, it's $350 FIXED, $170 is just for the part!". His tone was very rude, and I almost declined to have it fixed, but knew I'd pay a scathing service charge. So I decided to fix the dishwasher. He left. I should have heeded my gut warning to never have him or Castleberry's back in my home again. Ah, hindsight is 20/20... In fairness, I will say that the part did arrive quickly, and he returned in 2 days to install it. Which is where things went downhill... As he's getting things set up, he says he needs to turn off the breaker to the dishwasher to fix it. I inform him that the electrician who installed our new breaker panel hadn't labeled it yet. He *lost* it. "Are you kidding me?? Of course they didn't....now I have to go through them all and it will take longer.." He then LITERALLY fell back and laid down on the floor on his back with his arms at his side, complaining all the while. He then hauls himself up angrily and at this point I take a step back as I am physically afraid. My son stood nearby, watching, scared. I screamed at the kids to get out of the room - I almost sent them outside as I did become physically afraid for us. He was acting like a large, violent child. I offered to have him return another day after I could get the panel labeled. He did not hear, or understand, as he just yelled "If I pull this thing out and it's connected to power, I will get electrocuted, the power needs to be shut off!!" No sh#@, Sherlock, I am aware of that. And you clearly did not listen to me. Afraid though I was, he was escalating and I did not feel like being treated like this anymore. As he continued ranting, I informed him (in a loud voice) that I was sorry this situation was so upsetting to him, but it is not my problem, nor should he be yelling at me. I may have screamed back at him, as if he WAS a child, to do his job. (A wave of confidence and bravery had overtaken me and I was going with it). Something got through to him, because he got it together and calmed down after that. He was not nice, or courteous - he never was - but he was no longer yelling at me. The job was finished rather quickly, and we can only hope it works. And if it doesn't, honestly I wouldn't call these people back anyway. I want to call them or go into the store to report this travesty, but with the holiday weeks coming up that may prove difficult. If I get anymore response, I will update.

It took me awhile to find it, as I am not the expert. Interesting fact #1: I called a repair guy so I would not have to do something like search around in my crawlspace. It took me awhile to find what I was looking for, but after becoming filthy, I finally found it. Interesting fact #2: I was charged for the time it took me to locate the shutoff valve. The guy replaced the part that needed fixing (that part was fine), but he broke the actual button you press to get water. He didn't have the replacement with him, so he had to come back later in the day. Interesting fact #3: I had to leave work two times. I just wasn't very impressed with the customer service (lack thereof). I'd definitely call a different repair guy in the future and would not consider purchasing an appliance here. Just my two thoughts.

But we later learned that the "new" freezer we received had been manufactured three years earlier, and has been faulty since it was installed. They told me to contact a non-existent eBay "comprehensive online portal", then stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. Based on the other Yelp reviews, it appears that this company's business involves selling reduced price bargains that may well have some type of damage. Local customers shopping at this store in person may know about Building Liquidator's "buyer beware" approach to discounted goods, but I bought the mower from them from hundreds of miles away on eBay; it was listed as "new, in the box" and I had no idea that it might have some kind of problem. When the box arrived, it had clearly been opened and resealed. I suspect now that the mower may have been a return from another customer, perhaps because of the same malfunction, and that Building Liquidators then passed it on to me. Their handling of this situation doesn't speak well for their company's customer service. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company. Customers should be aware that their state's consumer protection laws or credit card company's policies may offer them additional protection, regardless of what any particular company's policies may state.

Because of the holiday weekend, no other company was available until 3 days or Monday. Thankfully, so far, so good with the repair but when a Tech has elevated a verbal repair offer, he has given himself reduction room and in many cases, has the option of being compensated for the paid amount above what the company will actually accept as a Bonus or Commission.
