I had a stellar experience at Lowe's today, and it was entirely thanks to David. I was eye-balling some Adirondack chairs but honestly didn't think there was a chance they'd fit in my car. David didn't just give me a "maybe"--he grabbed a tape measure, checked the chairs, measured my car, and did the math to make sure we weren't wasting our time. His level of service went way beyond the standard. He helped me find bungee cords and extra tables, tracked down another associate with keys to the outdoor display, and even walked us through the checkout process. To top it all off, he personally helped me load and secure everything into the vehicle. David is easily the friendliest and most professional associate I've encountered. He is a massive asset to this location, and the management should recognize that with a raise, a paid day off, or at the very least, a steak dinner. If you're stopping by this Lowe's, look for David. read more

First one employee spit on me and yelled at me. Second they didn't help me find anything at all. 1/5 stars would never go back there again.

Placed an online order for some merchandise and paid for it with debit card. Canceled order on Dec 10th and was told refund would be issued in 7 to 10 days. Today is Dec 24th and still no refund. Called customer service, could barely understand agent, and they were no help at all. Kept saying I had to check with my bank. They took my money immediately when I placed the order,but can't give me a straight answer about my refund. Do not, repeat DO NOT, use lowes.com for any shopping. read more

I'm sitting in my car trying to catch my breath in 90° weather. I am elderly, with a heart condition and I am deaf and I picked up five big moving boxes and ask for help from three people. All three disappeared. Other people that I asked in the place was flooded with workers cuz it was around 7:30, acted like they didn't see me and kept walking by with their cell phones. ONE STAR OUT OF FIVE!!! I would go lower with this Lowe's review if I could. My wife and I do a lot of shopping at hardware type stores, as we are avid gardeners. I do minor repair jobs around the house as I'm sort of a hack, and my wife is an avid crafter. It seems that every time we go to this local Lowe's store and ask for help, the associates act as if we are annoying them or keeping them from doing something more important like gab with each other. God forgive us for bothering them. We are considering a major home renovation, and thankfully there is a Home Depot and an Ace Hardware in town, because in the future, our shopping at this Lowe's will only be in an emergency situation at best. read more

We found and purchased a washer under 30 minutes with the help of Scott. While he worked in flooring we found him and asked for yep and he efficiently and kindly helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Even for him working in flooring it was obvious he knew his stuff for other departments such as washing. Very pleased 10/10 service! read more

Very poor customer service and training of employees. Limited selection compared to Home Depot. Disorganized in areas with products not put back into the correct area making it hard to find items and when I asked for help the guy actually said he didn't know and walked away. This is why retail stores are dying and people order online. I ended up going to Home Depot and found exactly what I needed and was offered help twice. I ordered a dryer last week. The delivery got delayed then the delivery got canceled because of technical issues. I called the local Brunswick Georgia Lowe's on three separate occasions they did nothing to resolve the issue. Phone got disconnected manager stop speaking after 17 minutes. Third time I called back and they still didn't resolve the issue and supposedly there was 18 female managers in the store this morning, I called the Home Depot in Brunswick and they gave me a cheaper price. Called Lowe's to get fixed, was told I needed to call the manufacturer to get service.. Technician was is unable fix problem,and suggested that I call the store and speak to the store manager (Greg Wingate). I have called several times with no success. I have left messages. January 7 3pm. Took half a day off of work for the measurement. 3:30: no show. Called the store. Was told they will call me tonight or tomorrow morning. Told them I'm not waiting until tomorrow. Have them call me. 5:20: still waiting to see if the measure plans to show up or call. January 8 10:33am finally heard from the measurer, but I was at work. So he left a message saying he could do a measure from 7-3pm on 1/9 11:47am i returned his call and told him I work 1/9 all day. But I am available Friday morning. Waiting for January 9 5:32pm finally made contact with the measurer. He planned to measure January 10, but by then I had already taken the advice of another Lowe's employee that recommended COASTAL GUTTERS over Lowe's! Go figure. COASTAL GUTTERS came to measure the next day and are installing in 10 days! (Would have been sooner but I wasn't available). Called Lowe's and told them I'm going with another company. We ordered two custom Pella windows and one custom Pella door. They are the Pella dealer in this area. Every last thing went wrong with this order. The door and two windows were almost $15,000 and they were ordered incorrectly twice, took twice as long as promised (after each incorrect order) installed poorly, and still have many issues. We finally had to hire someone else altogether to fix all of the problems. DO NOT ORDER WINDOWS OR DOORS THROUGH LOWES. This Lowe's is simply awful, in every way. I bought a gas stove from Lowe's on March 16, 2021. Paid for it and left the store for my Grandson to pick it up. Bait and switch. The store loaded a display stove instead of the one I bought. Now it is late October and the manager says it's too bad! It took me from March 17 until Sept to catch the Manager. We will see what they say in Small Claims Court. Two horrible recent experiences with the Brunswick Lowe's. The guys who delivered the refrigerator were not able to install it. They had to come back install it and then take away the old broken one. So we had no refrigerator for five days. I ordered a washer and dryer, they did not have the dryer and tried to deliver Two washers. I reordered a different set and was to,d the old order was cancelled. They tried to deliver the two washers again today. Kelly in customer service told me they were too busy to help me and would call back. I asked to have this dealt with immediately she put me on a 20 minute hold and never came back. I called back and asked for a manager. John came on the phone, he was very rude. He won't issue me a refund until the washers are back in the store (which they were yesterday before they tried to deliver them again) Do not use this Lowe's. They do not know the meaning of customer service. You will get nothing but a run around. I am paying off my Lowe's card and cutting it up. read more

Headed out to Lowe's tonight to get one strip of crown molding. We need this one little bit of crown molding to finish the kitchen. We pulled up to Lowe's at 9:45. Walked to the front doors. It is listed clearly on the doors that Lowe's closes at 10:00 p.m. The doors were locked and we were not allowed to go in. I was very frustrated that we couldn't get the one the thing we need to finish up our kitchen. We had family over to help us with the project. If you're going to close at 9:45 put that on the door not 10 o'clock. read more

They didn't have any wheelchairs at all entrances and they had no one to help us. We walked around looking for chairs and then we had to find help. Usually we love this place but lately they have been slacking. There was only one cashier working. She was on a customer for 20 minutes. There were 3 self checkouts but did not take cash. There 4 workers in customer service talking to one customer. A customer finally had to yell to customer service to open another cashier line up. This was awful and shows lack of management. read more

I went to the Brunswick, GA store the morning of 7/7/2022 looking for a piece of damaged (discounted) plywood in any sie for a church project which just needed a little piece. A young black attendant who was extremely courteous toldme he just put several sheets of damaged plywood on the curb and they should be 90% discounted. I found them on a cart with unuseably damaged sheetrock and broken beams, but the plywood was readily obtainable. I was told to see the manager. On speaking with the manager, Monica (possibly Marion) she curtly told me I would have to purchase the entire cart at 90% off. I politely told her I was a Pro customer and asked if she could help me out with just a piece of damaged plywood. She took a poor attitude and just dismissed me. I asked what the price of the whole cart was and she said it wasn't priced yet but would have someone do it. She removed a cashier from an already going under checkout area to do the chore. I returned in 20 minutes and the cashier had been pulled off the task which was still unpriced. The manager just kept walking away from me. The young attendant who observed my mistreatment motioned me and said he found another piece of damaged plywood. I took it to he register and the manager would not give me the full discount despite the item being in much worse condition (entire corner cracked and splinted) than those on the damage cart, That manager (Monica) was about as indignant as an employee can get and I don't know how she maintains her employment unless you have lowered your standards. I put my cart aside and left the store for Home Depot where they had several purple marked (damaged) plywood pieces and gladly sold me one at 70% discount. You will not be seeing me at that Lowes Pro desk in the near future. read more

When I called this morning to find out the holdup, I was on hold 20 minutes. Only to be told the guy I need would not be in to work for 30 minutes. They promised he would call when he came to work. Lowe's was very professional and on time when we had our hardwood were installed. I love our floors! We also purchased new kitchen appliances. The appliances were installed according to our timeline. My husband has loved all the meals that I have prepared---and I love how the appliances work----very easy!!! read more

DON'T SHOP HERE. This store is ridiculous. We just moved to this area and Lowes WAS our go to store back home. The customer service is beyond BAD. Nobody cares to help anyone or inconvenience themselves in any way. We couldn't get answers on the phone so had to drive to the store...where we also got no answers. Nobody bothered to prepare our online order and nobody could tell us why so we had to go get the item off of the shelf and hope that they would not charge us until we picked the item up. We finally get the Christmas tree we thought was brand-new home...The base to the tree is missing so most likely a return and nobody bothered to check the box. Either management continually hires people who do not care about customer service or they treat their employees poorly. I have never seen anything like it. read more

Lowe's staff is very willing to help you find what you need. It is a very good one stop shop when you are working on a project.

Always expect to be disappointed. The problems at this store location quite obviously start at the top and trickle downward. If you are expecting something to be delivered, add a week or two weeks, as after you've paid and received the arrival date, you'll be told that's a special order and unavailable. When you get special order items, don't be surprised pieces are missing. Best to save time and go to Home Depot or drive to Lowe's in JAX. Be very cautious with using this store for your big projects. read more

Biggest issue @ the store is finding someone to help you. It's pretty consistent. I just tried calling rather than going in. Phone rang about 20 times so I gave up. This is the worst store to deal with. I paid for an electric range on Feb 2 to be delivered the next day. I have a vacation condo and do not live permanently in the area. I was called at 7:30 on the 3rd and told the one unit they had was damaged and would be reordered. Fine. I drive 10 hours to have it delivered on the 10th. I was called at 8:30 and told the unit would not be coming in until the next day and could not be delivered that day. Frustrating. I rescheduled until Sunday the 25th, driving again 10 hours. They never came and never called. You cannot get anyone on the phone. I will now have to go through my credit card company to cancel. Please consider ALL other much better options in the area before spending your money there. I am so sorry I got involved with this store. read more

We purchased a dishwasher on Sat, Oct 28. Salesman said installers (CPO installation team) would call within 48 hours to arrange installation. The dishwasher was currently out of stock but salesman said some were coming in on Sun. Night. We called the number he gave us on Monday afternoon (Oct 30) to check on installation. They said give them 48 more hours. We waited until Wed., Nov 1 and called again. They said give them another 48 hours. We called again on Fri. Nov 3 and the lady said the dishwasher we wanted was out of stock! I went down to Lowes to cancel my order and talked to the manager. He went to check and said the dishwasher was in stock and the installers would call within 48 hours to schedule install. I told him I would give them one more chance to get this thing delivered and installed. We called on Mon., Nov 6 and install was finally made on Nov 7. Apparently there is a lack of communication between Lowe's and the "installation team." I'm retired, but it is still aggravating to sit around a full week waiting for the installers to call. read more

Waited over 3 weeks for dishwasher. Contractor came to install found it to be damaged. Took it back to store told me that would call me. To get it reordered it took me 2 days and a call to regional director. Dishwasher reordered. Waiting still. Lowes called said it was in. I asked them to call contractor still haven't heard anything. I called contractor and he has not been contacted by Lowes. Have called Lowes 3 times today and have been cut off/ hung up on. ,Tired of the run around! read more

I have spent thousands of dollars at Lowe's over the past several years and, most recently, in the past several months because of a home remodel. It is my experience that their customer service has drastically fallen to unacceptable levels. Thursday evening I visited the appliance department with every intention of purchasing a Whirlpool Duet Dryer. After over 90 minutes of waiting for the salesperson to double check that my new Duet dryer would stack on my older Duet Washer, it was nearly closing time with no answers, so I went home. Friday morning I called the store to purchase the dryer over the telephone. After several attempts to connect me to a salesperson in appliances, (and 20 minutes later), it was determined that no one was manning the appliance department. Therefore, the Customer Service attendant volunteered to help me with my purchase. After another 20 minutes, it was clear that she was unable to help me. I asked to speak to the store manager. The store manager was helpful. She completed my purchase and promised that the dryer would be delivered at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning. On Monday, 9:00 a.m. came and went. at 10:00 I called the store and was told that the delivery drivers were just completing their first delivery and should be heading my way soon. I was scheduled as the 2nd delivery. At 12:00 I called the store again. This time I spoke to the store manager (same one that helped me on Friday). We found out that the drivers put several deliveries in front of mine. Finally, at 3:45 p.m., my dryer arrived. Monday is the only day I have off work during the week and, it happened to be my birthday. I had to cancel birthday plans because of the lack of customer service that Lowe's provided. Next time I need to make a purchase I will seriously consider Home Depot first. read more

We have shopped here often but we are becoming more and more frustrated with the experience. Very few of the employees are helpful or knowledgeable about their departments. It is difficult to find anyone to help you. In fact the employees appear to try hard to avoid eye contact - I think they are afraid you will ask fOr their assistance!! It is too bad. This is what happened when I went to pick up the dishwasher: Went to customer service again because they were the only one opened. This was on Saturday when a lot of people were trying to get items for home repairs because of IRMA. There was only two people in customer service checking out people. All other check-out registers were closed. This was in the middle of the day. The clerk kept calling for someone in appliances to pick up, but to no avail. I finally went back there and there was only one person in the department trying to wait on all the customers. I waited about 25 minutes on him (no fault of his) because he had several others he was trying to wait on. It took him another 25 or 30 minutes to get the dishwasher to check out. I have called for the manager and no one would ever pick up the phone. I called the corporate office and made a complaint with them. There was a terrible storm in the area...Irma...that did a lot of damage and these poor people were trying to get their homes livable. This store should have had extra employees come in to work to help these people. But to be honest I have NEVER been able to find anyone to wait on me in that store. Why do I go there? Let's just say I have finally learned my lesson. Like one customer said...to heck with this I am going to Home Depot. That's where I should have gone. read more
