The harris necktownsend office can not guarantee that they can make a good cut. The keys are for a 15 year old truck. I was referred to the brunswick store stati g they can cut them. I traveled from Townsend to brunswick I laid my keys on the counter to get cut and I was informed that since they did not sell me the keys the could not cut them. I left shaking my head and than came up with the following .. I buy stuff from the Townsend store to fix my house. Technically since the hardware store didn't sell me my house than why do they allow me to purchase items in their store? Just sharing my experiences and logic.. Chuck

I did a lot of online research and even with Prime, the Amazon options were not going to make it inside my last week there. I wanted a WeatherTec mat and saw this ACE had the floor mats, but I didn't see the cargo mat available on ACE's main website. On a hunch I thought, just call and see. Lucky I did because they had it in the warehouse and could order it to be ready three days from my phone call (which was over a weekend). Flo helped me and she was so nice! She even applied my latest email coupon to the order, for 10% off! I got my mat cheaper and faster than Amazon Prime! Go ACE!

Exterior Located off Hwy 17, just north of the '4 way stop' as us 'locals' know it. Interior Like every Ace Hardware I've ever visited, jam packed with stuff to spend your money on! Customer Service Friendly and fairly patient. And while the younger folks are not always super knowledgeable, they're typically very quick to volunteer to at least try to find an answer for you when they don't know something. Price / Value Ace has never been my 'go to' spot for inexpensive goods, but they will often have items you can't find elsewhere. I bought my first manual lawnmower at an Ace Hardware in Smyrna, Ga. (And when I say 'manual,' I mean the kind of mower Ward Cleaver used on Leave it to Beaver. The type that's powered solely by your arms, back and legs thank-you-very-much.) And I bought my slingblade at an Ace Hardware in Powder Springs, Ga. And this Ace Hardware was one of the ONLY two stores in McIntosh & Glynn county combined that still sold railroad ties aka cross ties. (And I called 11 stores based on Google and neighbor suggestions.) Overall Cool little spot that has a little bit of everything under the sun ... from grass seed to interior & exterior paint ... to barbecue and grilling needs. Be sure to check them out if you're in the area.

I had a stellar experience at Lowe's today, and it was entirely thanks to David. I was eye-balling…read moresome Adirondack chairs but honestly didn't think there was a chance they'd fit in my car. David didn't just give me a "maybe"--he grabbed a tape measure, checked the chairs, measured my car, and did the math to make sure we weren't wasting our time. His level of service went way beyond the standard. He helped me find bungee cords and extra tables, tracked down another associate with keys to the outdoor display, and even walked us through the checkout process. To top it all off, he personally helped me load and secure everything into the vehicle. David is easily the friendliest and most professional associate I've encountered. He is a massive asset to this location, and the management should recognize that with a raise, a paid day off, or at the very least, a steak dinner. If you're stopping by this Lowe's, look for David.

The family drove from 5 hours away to do the work. The Yella Wood had clearly been on another job site since many of the boards had pencil marks, cuts, and even math. Not a real problem, except that many of the boards weren't the right length, and in one case, a 2x10-8 was actually a 2x9.25-7. When I called Coastal, their only solution was for me to bring it back to them. I obviously had it delivered for a reason. They couldn't care. I questioned this business model. The guy still couldn't care. Maybe when the lumber market cycles back down, Coastal will care about customer service, but I'll never know.
